Anyway, no Changli or Furina yet but I'm trying. I'm okay with not getting Changli so I'll just bite the bullet and get Flower Power Thot on her rerun because I am in severe need of a good Havoc unit and my lil Danjin is a bit fragile. Not pulling for her weapon though. Zani needs my savings.

So as much as I dislike Carmellya (ew) she is fun to use and a strong unit, annoying cunt that she is. Think I abused the skip button outright during her character quest.

Might whale for Furina though.

Harumasa's engine is so universal that it goes on 4 different characters in my account. Marcato Desire is pretty damn good for an event A-rank with its crit and ATK. Brimstone is a good one to have too.

This looks like the sort of area you'd have for the Summer Event. Hope they get their act together for Notrussia, fingers crossed they can still make good stuff for Natlan.

On the flipside tho, Natlan is still expanding so hopefully, maybe, they will rectify that. I think we're like halfway through all the expansions so there's plenty of time left. Unless 5.5. will be the end but I doubt it.

Considering the rumors of 6.x being a filler version, I expect them to backfill Natlan with new areas/characters to make up for how lack luster it's been.

Considering the rumors of 6.x being a filler version, I expect them to backfill Natlan with new areas/characters to make up for how lack luster it's been.

there's not much else to fill, vulcan in the SW which is is where the little dragon quest should end next patch and NE towards fontaine where the last clan's supposed to be (unless they put it next to the vulcan but so far the clan is the "furthest away", so who the fuck knows).

there's also mare javi somewhere in the west iirc, which will probably be some small ass subzone like enka or chasm for 5.6/5.7, after portrayed as FUCKHUEG in the past....

The last clan is next to the volcano. And they've already mentioned in game that the mare javari vanished for some reason so it's guaranteed to be a submap like the chasm or the last fontaine area.

6.0 is probably going to get the Mondstadt expansion, where Dornman Port is finally added and the parts of fontaine that lead to fantasy russia.

Late, but I'm more disappointed with White Day promotion, they have a mechanical dog, Seymour, being part of it. I'm sure they still have quite plenty of male characters left to do it. SS Anby gameplay design has few flaws, grouping and building fast her 3-stacks marking. Her damage is quite lacking without 3-stacks. I'm not sure how efficient Trigger should help her in building stun up.
Out of S11, I feel liker her M4 is the best one, giving anti-interruption for entire combo. Her multiplier isn't good enough to boost her. Although, obviously depending on how much you want to invest (like) her. May as well aiming for units that help her, Lighter is a must for stun unit pair. Last slot, Nicole (preferly M6) is good enough. I just have a feeling they may rerun Lighter along with Hugo.
The stun unit may as well wearing a 4pc support set like Astra one, or Proto Punk (damage bonus when defensive assist) if there is already a Support character wearing 4pc Swing Jazz.

Depending on how Vivian is, she maybe also good pair with Burnice for Disorder comp.

Not like other nations calling them nation of X element. Mondstat - freedom, Liyue - trade, Inazuma - eternity, Sumeru - wisdom, Fontaine - justice, etc.... I get what you mean, but I'm sure you notice Natlan being a Pokemon nation.

If any country needs more content it's monstat because that place has been dead since dragonspine. It's been 4 years since eula and 2 years since mika. If the chef girl is from fontaine then'll legit go 3 years without a monstat unit. The anemo nation never received a new anemo unit. The most you'll get is updated hide seek and some randomass festival. I'm tired of natlan, give monstat a new island or mountain or anything.

btw i took a glance at star rail beta and jesus christ they buffed the fuck out of castorice and Anaxas. The man's skill does 80%x5 with +20% dmg bonus for each enemy. Then his passive applies random weakness for free on every attack, against enemies with 5 weakness his skill does an extra hit doesn't cost sp and hits 40% harder. Then his passives give 30 energy if no enemy has 5 weaknesses, 140 crit dmg for being the only erudition or 40% team dmg bonus if there is two, and 4% def ignore per weakness. His ult makes everyone weak to everything (and hard cc?!?).

What did this game turn into while i was away?? Anaxas is the strongest hunt in the game and he's erudition. Castorice's global passive was not changed and actually got new animations so it's 100% in the final game at this point.

Also and I'm going to be super shallow for a second and take inspiration from that other kiwi in here who gleefully skipped Sunday in Star Rail.

Something about Cantarella gives me the ick. So I feel good about skipping that bitch. Flower Power Thot, the annoying loony twat that she is, is fun to play as.

Starlight Engine is a pretty good generic attack engine for most attackers since it only requires a quick assist or dodge counter to activate the atk boost. Marcato Desire (the last event one) is one of the few A-ranks with crit and works well if you can apply anomaly to enemies regularly.

At this point I have every standard agent except for Grace, and I think the ones I use most are Lycaon and Rina. Rina is a good universal support you can work into basically any team. The added PEN is something that buffs literally every agent and she requires almost no field time. Her ability to easily trigger quick assist also makes her an ideal Astral Voice holder. Her M1 makes her require even less field time and increases her PEN ratio buff a little. Lycaon is a decent Stun unit and especially good in Ice teams thanks to his core passive that reduces Ice RES and increases stun dmg multiplier, of which he is the only standard agent capable of doing so. All of the limited Stuns have it in some fashion (Lighter needs M2) so it's not as valuable as it was at launch but it's still good if you use Ellen or Miyabi on the regular.

Nekomata is probably the least valuable of all the standard S-Ranks but I personally find her kinda fun to play. She also funnily enough pairs well with the new agent, Pulchra. I used my selector on her mostly for shits and giggles since I figured I'd get Grace sooner or later and I have several strong Anomaly agents already.

Anaxa does sound kinda ridiculous on paper and I've certainly seen how goofy some of the new characters are already but I'll have to see how he actually ends up on release. Weakness implant is pretty strong but if it works kinda like Firefly it mostly makes it so you can reduce enemy toughness, which is great for break-centric units but it doesn't affect enemy RES to said elements. the def ignore does seem to offset that a bit. The CC on his ult only works for enemies that don't have control RES it seems like so it'll be useless on bosses in MoC/AS most likely. The 140% Crit DMG boost when he's the only Erudition character again is pretty strong, but dual dps is the current meta although that can change on a whim. Most people seem eager to pair him up with Jade or The Herta so that passive would only give the 40% dmg bonus, although you'd still be getting 80% CDMG from Therta. In terms of raw damage output I think that Therta might still potentially win out for Erudition units (although I've found Rappa in a proper break team can also get very silly, though I've yet to see how she fares with her S1). His weakness implant will however make him more flexible in team building since Herta needs a second Erudition character, and the other latest and greatest lesson in power creep (Aglaea) needs three limited supports to work at her best.

If he reduced RES he would be a better nihility than every nihility too. Only the BIG big bosses are immune to hard CC, he still freezes stuff in the MoC he's releasing like the TV banana boss.

Btw i got his passive wrong, he doesn't change to a stronger no cost skill, he does a second stronger skill for free that also gives him 30 energy. You can do it after basic too. This means against single target Anaxas is doing 800% and 300 break skills before his buffs/debuffs or he can basic attack to be SP positive and get more energy (yes, his energy passive has 2 passives.)

Even if he doesn't end OP it just feels so absurd compared to older stuff. His skill is stronger than Yanqing's ult. Silver wolf looks like a troll pick next to him. He does more toughness break than firefly with ruan mei. Fugue ult does universal break while Anaxa's ult does universal weakness implant THEN break and damage + cc. Sparkle gets 10 energy on basic, Anaxas gets the same passive and +30 free if the enemies arent implanted enough for him to double skill (sunday stonks). His only true weakness is lack of followup and requiring implants which will probably make him not so great on pure fiction respawning enemies.

Classes in this game have lost all idendity. Healers are dps, eruditions are top tier single target, nihilities are harmonies and rememberance is everything so you're forced to roll their limited light cone. The next preservation (supposedly dan heng fire) will probably hit harder than Acheron and tank better than aventurine.

Newer characters are all over the place. Even DU suffers from this. Remembrance blessings no longer freeze, Harmony is for Break, Preservation and Abundance were rolled into Destruction.
