It depends on the character and the animation, a few are questionable but most make some sense, usually clapping at harmless and pretty things, or famous characters. Klee's bomb scare people but barbara water get clapped.

Yoimiya's skill and burst for example make people clap because duh, it's fireworks. Xinqiu ult cast and ninguang skill gets claps. Most pet summons like Guoba will get clapped (i think it's only itto who doesn't lol). Barbara and kokomi get clapped on everything. Mavuika's bike and GaMing dance idle animation will make people clap too. etc. Always liked this detail.

And in some "news", genshin fanbase got the internet spotlight today.

If people hate Charlie too much, Mujin, who makes video on all kinds of MHY amongst other internet drama, also made a video on it. He mentions that this is actually quite common. Jesus fuck.

But let put it some benefits of doubt because I don't visit these kind Am I yada yada yada reddit to be experience enough in matter of real or fake. Because obviously, people being retarded isn't new. But to me, there are few things very questionable and baffling.
1) How the guy talks, frames the girl as the one at fault and even initiate the cancel off the marriage. Not the girl.
Calling her abusive, coercive, the mentioning his boundary and value. Later dragging his mom in. He sounds like a faggot and pathetic human-being.
2) I'm very surprising that according to the girl own words. Entire of the guy family takes side with him.
3) There is nothing coming from the girl family. Somehow, strangers' opinion on internet is more valuable.
Edit: 4) They were only engaged to each other and already having a share bank account? That is just retarded.

Then again, months ago in r/LaDs. There was someone who was quite unfortunate with marriage life, made a post on reddit how the game was helping her psychology. Not so long later, her last post on her reddit was about her abusive husband moving out, 6 months ago and nobody replies to that post.

I find this whole idea of sharing personal problem on social media is so weird. What is it about these people (assuming Westerners mostly) asking strangers on internet for "help" or validation, instead of from their close relationship group? Family like parents, brothers/sisters and friends or something. Because I refuse to believe even their own all of blood-related family members not willing to do anything to help them.

Agreed but people like that unfortunately do exist. It does sound like a case of projection with a side order of grasping at straws or some parroting by his mom.

Unfortunately parents playing defense for their children is nothing new. In the US there was a case of a guy being accused and later found guilty of rape and his parents didn't try to deny that he did it. Rather they downplayed it, blamed the victim and screamed to high heavens about how wonderful their sweet little was and why he shouldn't go to jail for raping a a woman.

Now this is an extreme example but parents falling over backwards to enable everything their kid does is nothing new or uncommon. This sort of parenting is particularly perfect to create adult babies and sociopaths.

Emotional incest and its effects are some poisonous cancerous shit.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and avoid powerleveling but someone having no relatives or living relatives able to help them is not something completely unheard of. Same with friends if trauma is a factor.

Those cases are far and few between however and it's possible she didn't want to bring it because of bad experiences.

That being said I think it is a valid question regardless.

Anyway just a really weird situation.

i won my 50/50 and got her pretty early with about 250 pulls left. debating on whether to go all out on her or not because i want some of the upcoming characters

99% of these Am I overreacting/theasshole/etc reddit threads are fake and karma farming, but there is always the 1% that looks fake but isn't. Someone getting addicted and wasting money in gacha is common, destroying their relationships isn't that uncommon afterall but this one could be fake.

Is it just me or are horror stories like this almost exclusively from Genshin fans and not from Honkai/ZZZ/whatever fans? It's like something about Genshin gives people legitimate brain damage.

I used to not bother with Remembrance blessings because (for the most part) my team builds didn't really accompany the need for any Ice element... now I really don't bother with Remembrance.
