Pulled for Phoebe, lost the 50/50. Should I keep pulling for her? I'm told that Zani (who I do want) works really well with her.

Check my post about Phoebe gameplay few pages ago.
Nobody really knows what Zani actually does, literally people have to wait for 2.3 beta for full proper leak. Not just wink wink vague posting. So Spectro Rover for now is the only one enabling Phoebe.
The rest is whether you like to play Spectro Rover, you don't even need to level much from S.Rover beside Forte Circuit and Liberation. You can keep basic attack and R.skill at level 6. Then also farm at least 2 sets of Eternal Radiance for Phoebe and Rover.
The exclusive limited time rectifier from fishing event is also quite decent, it performs really close to 5* standard rectifier since it's designed as F2P option for Phoebe.

Phoebe is really simple to play and not quite finicky (aiming on targets) comparing to other dps rectifier. She still has visual clutter problem with her attacks, too many special effects that make it harder to see enemy attack animation if you are "pumping out dps as fast as you want". The "hard" requirement from her is keeping track of Spectro Frazzle dot on enemies.

Edit: Or unless you wanna wait for Camellya rerun. Since she's also pretty strong at the new endgame mode (Whimpering Waste) which requires AOE attacks and grouping for multiwaves.

On a more related note, I’m not sure what I find funnier - people angry that Iansan is a 4*, or the mental gymnastics they’re doing to not call the Chinese company racist (you just KNOW if MHY was anywhere in the West it’d be constant).

I'm super okay with Iansan being a 4*. She's never had a big role in the plot other than being one of the six heroes (which includes Ororon, another 4* character) of Natlan or whatever. And if she actually gives ATK buffs like the leaks suggest then I might finally have a viable alternative to Benny.

Really? I thought calling MHY racist was like a daily occurrence amongst the normies.. Like the Meh genshin boycott of 2024, Sumeru and Rappa from HSR.

Anyhow been grinding like a lunatic in WuWa, just spent asterisks pulling to build up pity, got the lion twink and now I have a guarantee. Yay!
 
People in HSR HoYoLab are complaining about the lack of content for 3.1 and how hard this lineup of MoC is.

If only they knew what's coming in MoC 3.1...

I have 35 stars, but I think I can tweak my teams for 36 stars.

Nikador is made for Aglaea, but Jing Yuan says suck it.
 
I hope you nerds love the new World boss. It's like that stone centaur boss asking to get rid of Geo shield, but it's Pyro requirement this time.

Burnt my savings on Phoebe. Here's hoping I can save up enough for Zani when she comes.

As for genshin, I'd ask why they keep adding bosses that require a specific element, mechanic, but then I remember that the abyss exists and fuck anyone going for max stars.

I saw a screencap of the newest nikke character with a 'thicc starfish' hidden in her splash art too. An inside joke between artists maybe?

Speaking of which, does anyone play stuff like Nikke or GFL2? I think I saw someone with a Dorothy avatar several pages ago in this thread.

i've been playing gfl2 since launch. it's pretty good, if you're into the xcom style gameplay you'll like it since it's basically that with way less bullshit rng. just know that the main campaign missions are extremely easy because they're meant to be cleared with the free starter characters. the extra content missions and a lot of the event challenge missions are more difficult.

Oh I've been playing the Global version since launch too, was just looking for people to discuss it with. Just got a Qiongju and a Dush, I'll be saving for Klukay when she comes out in late March or so.

I play Nikke from time to time. Most of my free time is spent catching up in WuWa these days

i'm skipping dush, just got v2 qiongjiu. she's busted.

i never played the first game so i'm a little lost with some of the references but the story seems pretty standalone so far.
