Add a new world level where bosses drop 5+ of their item like HSR, and double/triple the output of the XP/Mora leylines without needing condensed resin and yeah I might be bothered to level a character to 100.

Realized i have to cap the clock statue to get hat traiblazer E4+E5 so i spent 3-4 hours today doing all the clockwork penacony sidequests and somehow only got to level 43

If anyone reached level 50 please tell me if have to 100% penacony for it
It's closer to 80%-ish since it's possible to do it before you fight the boss. I don't have all the clockwork quests done but I did have every zone explored that was accessible to that point, meaning basically everything up to 2.1 and and half of the 2.2 areas. It really doesn't take long to clean out areas in HSR especially with a map since they're not very big. The Reverie (Dreamscape) is probably the biggest and most tedious with the puzzle rooms but if you've got Acheron you can just clear out every room and hunt freely.

I got Robin despite being somewhat heavy on 5* supports now because I wanted her the moment I saw her design and also snagged her LC. She's obviously got a trace specifically meant for FUA teams but she does great with DoT teams as well with the big ATK and DMG boosts. I might actually give Ruan Mei a break for a while at least in Kafka/Black Swan comps since she's nuts with the new Trailblazer.

New Windtrace is up, and the new mechanic - read, the part where they ripped DBD - puts the game hilariously in the Hunters favour this time around.
Quoting myself is retarded, but considering I just played a round as Hunter where 2 guys were blatantly clipping through walls/into structures and they still lost the round?

Not-DBD is a shit mechanic, and I really hope it just reverts back to being Not-Prop Hunt next time this Event rotates through.

This various of windtrace fucking sucks and I hope they revert to the old version next time because I had way more fun being turbo autistic about making sure I blended in perfectly as a prop.

I logged back in genshin just to play half hour of windtrace and i get what yall mean, i think it simply doesnt feel as fun for anyone involved. I played like 8 matches and thankfully won all of them, the closest i got to lose was a very clutch hunter timeout where i lost the favor, the errant knight (rebels in portuguese) ones were hard stomps.

I think the worst part is that it feels a lot more "sweaty" while also being too feast or famine. if you cant even chase well you'll lose in 90-120s. Maybe it's because i'm playing later and not day 1 so the knights i got were all fairly smart and proactive, but the hunters were mostly mid or bad. On the other hand, you can be a good knight and lose cause your team fucked up.

You also can't play hunter like a yolo hide and seek tag, you need to tryhard and play around the generators. I had 2 matches where i lost the guy, then i ran past the corner, turn the camera and he would go back to the gen without escape so i'd catch them. The other match i only won because 1 took 1 guy down and there was a gen at 98% so gambled on camping it and managed to time out.

I used the beetle drone and i think it's probably the best hunter tool. The tracker aint gonna do shit cause no one is camping, but the beetle will at least fuck upd someone nearby or scare a more cowardly player. I never got the hunter favor.

The old windtrace was kinda unbalanced prop hunt but at least it was chill lazy fun i guess. You're relaxed until you spot the enemy so you either win or lose the chase. The main problem were shitty maps where you can literally spin around diluc's mansion forever or climb a tree and force the hunter to guess where you'll land.

Last year, I played more Windtrace than was required for rewards because it was fun. This year, I got 1k coins each day, and felt no need to play more than the 5 games I did play. Hiding sucks because hunters can't do shit when you have 1/2 retard teammates wasting the hunters time, and hunting sucks because more often than not all 3 retards went to the first device and you can instantly catch them.

If they were trying to re-balance things more in favor of the hunter, they completely failed if this is even remotely indicative of the playerbase at large.

Yeah, i mean that playing Hunter requires waaay more awareness than playing Rebel. With rebel you can do the bare minimum and get away with it. Simply stare at the minimap and if the hunter comes in your direction you hide or circle the map, and if it spots you, juke with invisibility.

Every map is also way to easy to break line of sight. Guili has walls around gens the hunter has to guess. Dawn winery you can lamp under grass at anytime. Ritou is so busy it's easy to lose chase. Canyon has gens on top of towers so the rebel can yolo invisiglide away.

Even the shit that is supposed to "help" the hunter doesnt work. The gen flash icon basically signals the other rebels they're safe. The hunter powers aint doing shit cause everyone will run away when you spot them anyway. Favor is also more likely to be stolen or never drop.

I assume most people in this thread are veterans who play well enough to win with hunter but on a casual and/or equal level competence, its easier on the rebels. It's just like dead by daylight, the hunter simply cant be in 3 places at the same time.

Hey good news; Resin cap is being raised slightly to 200. How generous. Now, are they going to reduce the cooldown on resin regeneration, or are they really going to let it take over 24hrs to regain max resin?
Already people are crowing that this is because Wuthering Waves releases in like, 2 days and Mihoyo is scared. Which is laughable for the same reason literally every WoW-Killer was laughable - the more something gets hyped by the community as "the game that'll kill X", the less likely it is to actually do so and everyone crowing it just looks like a jackass until they DFE and deny ever saying it.

Most likely - there was some truth to them upping the level cap to 100, and this is to just let us farm more exp books/boss items per day to make up the difference. Please God don't let it be more Boss Items, just let Ascension 6 go to Level 100...

so, everybody ready to grind their chars to 100 if the rumors are true?
wtf mihoyo

each level range Per ascension phase exponentially raises the mats + mora requirements.
f00k. min-maxing characters who love levels = bankruptcy.

the only issue i have with the current windtrace is that one small liyue zone/ map. it's so tiny, the hunter has a great chance of disrupting or catching you every time the repair ping goes off

The whole device repairing thing in windtrace and hunter defaulted to win when timer runs out is fucking gay and retarded.
this forces action on the part of the rebels, instead of first finding an uber hiding spot, then afk-ing til the timer runs out

it does feel sweaty.
but it somehow just wakes me up and makes me wanna smash the opposing side (e.g., hunt well, or run + repair like a madman)

Bro you could've posted once with 4 replies instead of 4 times. Just give yourself space under the quote and quote 1 by 1.

BTW Wuthering Waves is a new genshin-like gacha releasing tomorrow. It's developed by Kuro games from PGR fame so they have some experience and should probably be better than Tower of Fantasy. If the reception is good i'll check it out this weekend and mention it here if it's any good. Genshin's production is impossible to beat but it seems to have more skill based combat.

I dont know if it's for those who preregistered or not but they'll give some free rolls and other stuff so i'll see if the gacha feels awful or not (allegedly same exact banner price, pity and rates as genshin).

I've preinstalled it and will check it out later tonight to see if it's worth trying out, though I scoff at people saying it'll be the "Genshin-killer".

I'm reminder of that other "Genshin-killer" that the shills were hyping up to the moon, before it promptly crashed and burned. How is Tower of Fantasy doing nowdays?
