It's simple. Remove the romantic inclined dialogue in the teapot. Bam. That's all you need to do.

Finished the Chasm's stuff. Need to do Dragonspine but I hate the cold mechanic. Doing Act 1 of Sumeru.

I'm at 70ish pity for Yoimiya. Rolled a Chevreuse. Got a few standard banner wishes and the game gave me another Fav sword, Sac fragments, and a Keqing Copy so she's Con 1.

I know I run Hu Tao so I shouldn't get a pyro DPS but Yoimiya's a good waifu and her playstyle feels so fun.

I've built Kazuha to a usable level, but I'm realizing I really wanna get another flavor of main DPS so I'm probably going to get Childe going within a week or so. Then it's off to Kirara.

I think it's fucking funny how almost all of the launch 4 stars seem to have stood the test of time aside from the free monstadt trio. Bennet, Fischl, Xiangling, Xinqiu, Sucrose, and Barbara are all excellent. Hell, I've currently benched using Bennet because he enabled me to beat the Chasm's final boss a little too easily. I wound up just cycling through shit with Kazuha and the extra damage and healing let me blunder around.

Current order of building

Childe (with Rust)> Kirara> Rosaria> Barbara. Dunno what my second Dendro character would be but it's likely YaoYao or Dendro MC. Collei's nice but I only have a spare Stringless for her.

gonna finish Kazuha this week, then work on Kirara and Noelle as I want shielders for Hu Tao.

Thinking of either Keqing or Childe as my main DPS for a second team. I do have a Rust laying around so it may be Childe. IDK, I got Bennet to a built state aside but I need decent filler artifacts.

Rosaria's pretty hot so I may build her and Beidou because waifu.

I think I'll focus on getting through the archon quest shit so i get more stuff and more primogems. Finished Inazuma means it's to the Chasms for me.
Noele shield cooldown is too long to realistically shield anyone other than her, you want layla or zhongli but kirara can work as a shield bot.

Unless you really love yoimiya i'd recommend saving for someone who "easier to get value" like nahida who should be next patch. Yoimiya is fine but she is a one trick pony who needs the right team or else she might feel underwhelming. You also already have hutao and xingling for pyro coverage.

Fav and Sac weapons are incredibily good for any support, collei for example prefers fav bow. Some 3* weapons like TTDS for barbara or black tassel for yaoyao are also good.

Dragonspine should be a lot easier with benet + kazuha to break ice shields.

fujos don't really need any "sauce" for their delusions, and being retarded on twitter is it's own issue - genshin-ships or not.

Yoimiya's a good waifu and her playstyle feels so fun.
yoimiya is best girl, but if you wanna see if the playstyle is fun do this: buff fischl to 9/9/9, give her rust, put shimenawa on her, pair her with diona (or any other char that can do cryo for superconduct, like kaeya, but the rage is limited) and another cryo for resonance, then go to town. yeah it's physical but outside abyss sweatlord runs more than enough for everything else, even works on bosses without having to give a shit about resistances. I played this ways for so long I got fischl 2/3 to 90 (I usually stop at 89 to still get some exp when doing stuff).

if you like it you can literally put the weapon and artifacts on yoimiya and keep nuking stuff. you can also use shim on hu tao, so always good idea to have a few pieces laying around.

but I need decent filler artifacts.
exile, unironically. you gonna do so many bosses that shit is free real estate. because a) fuck artifact rng and b) the biggest issues is getting the right artifact with the right stats in the first place. even if the stats turn out lower in the end, it will still beat, or at least be on par, with a crappy 5*. so without spending any resin (or spending it on other stuff) you gonna drown in possible options.
worst case you can still feed it into another artifact down the line...

NGL, they are fun to use, but my phone was nearly dying.

One of the biggest fujo magnets of all time is Aragorn in Lord of the Rings.

You know, the guy whose entire life was spent building up to becoming kingly enough to wed Arwen.

One of the things with fujos is they spend unholy amounts of time and money. They bring attention to the brand. So even outright straight writers have learned that it's best to string them along.

:optimistic:Some days MHY learn to optimize game file size:optimistic:. Seeing Genshin from 4.1 to 4.2 patch jump like nearly 10GB is depressing. Game was 70GB at the start of 4.0, now it's 84GB already.

New spiral abyss is easy this time, probably even easier than the last time, everyone should give it a try.
MHY, very funny of you tricking people playing Viscera Cleaning minigame for new web event.

Edit: this isn't confirmed or anything. Not so sure how I feel new banner type based on character birthday, or new kind of starglitter exchange in Paimon's bargain. Maybe good if they actually add one constellation for a 4* on their birthday.

I actually managed to pull a copy of what could be considered Fischl's "signature" weapon and I've considered trying it on her as an on-field character but I feel like you really need her to be at C6 for it to work best, and I've only got her at C5. Rust also has some funny if not unconventional uses like with the old "Machine Gun Gorou" trick that abuses how Gorou can fire normal shots with basically 0 delay if you spam toggle aiming mode a certain way on a gamepad.

And on the Star Rail side of things I managed to pull Ruan Mei and she's been a huge boost whenever I can fit her into a team. On the other hand I'm not enjoying most of the recent enemies and content because it feels like they're specifically designed to counter characters like Fu Xuan with the amount of AoE damage they deal. I don't really want to run two sustain units but I almost kinda have to for my DPS to not explode instantly or is more often the case get whittled down to the point where Fu Xuan's healing can't keep up if the fight goes on too long.

Childe's mostly built and it's been fun using him. I just need to boost his crit damage. His crit value's about 70/78.

I think it's really funny how I just bodied the Kirara-boss item (something something bishops) with a Childe=Kazuha-Xiangling-Bennet team. Granted, it's a 1k EM Kazuha just bursting down the shields. I'll probably have Kirara built and usable in a week or so. Artifacts are just a bitch to get for her. Dunno what sword's good for Kirara. I've got a spare Fav sword somewhere.

not sure if i should get my sub-dps characters their final ascension bc that takes a fuckton of resin. prob gonna just focus on max accessioning the weapons on them.

Noelle should be pretty simple to finish building when I get to it. Same with Rosaria and Mona.

Pushing for spiral abyss, sure. If character damage is scaling with HP or EM, then it's a whole lot better to even go for LV90, more so than ATK scaling.

I do it for all my chars because fuck artifact RNG (rather spend that on ascension), it's a non-random upgrade to the point I'm "done" with a certain character, and if I want to use them I just have to switch weapons/artifacts around. same reason I push all talents to 8/8/8, even supports. once the regions drops out of the battlepass (so I don't have to worry getting more talent books than I need) I push the talents to 9.

makes sense, I'm probably gonna wait until I'm done with the talents/weapon mats before I commit like a week's worth of resin to getting all my support/sub DPS units their final ascension.

Got Kirara to level 80, her artifacts are all HP/ HP% shit until I get proper ones. She's pretty fun to use. Dendro seems amusing so I'll uh. . . build YaoYao, Collei, or Dendro MC? YaoYao seems to be the best option and I do have some fav lances. I'll do that I reckon. Dendro MC seems really easy to do but I don't have MC at max ascension just yet. Collei's cute but it seems she's not really in competition with my other options.

I guess I could go roll for Nahida but it also feels like I should go for Cloud Retainer too. I'll see after the trial thing. If I get either, that'd be neat, but I'd also be content with getting more constellations for the 4 stars I actively use a fuckton of.

Mona seems to be very useful but I'm not sure if I want to put her on the list to build right now. Mine's con 1, which means her reactions are stronger iirc. IDK if it's worth building her as I've got Childe and XingQiu built.

This game would be a lot more fun if it wasn't so pay-to-win but I guess they have to make money somehow considering the game is free to play. The amount of resin you get each day and the maximum you can hold seems artificially limited to try to get you to spend money or primogems which are best saved for wishes.

that's only if you wanna go sweatlord for 0.5% or less of "content" in a challenge dungeon. everything else can be done without needing any of those banner characters, which means you can basically roll on whoever you want. most patches have enough primos to get at least one 5* (can't remember if it was with or without welkin), but early pity is still a thing too.

that low requirement also means you don't need max resin every day, only if you fall for the artifact RNG grind - which again you only need for the 0.5% sweatlord content. everything else (character level/talents/weapons) is finite after which you have no use for resin anymore.

if anything it's less pay-to-win but "play daily", which is the main reason resin is limited (buying more resin is also a shit value, especially given the previous paragraph). if you log in every day to do your 15 minutes chores while on a commute or taking a shit that already gives you most of the stuff you need for new characters and build them.

I suppose it is technically true that at a certain point you don't need resin anymore but getting there takes a long, long time. I don't know how the mobile version of genshin differs from the desktop version, but I play the desktop version.

same game, different control scheme.

genshin's just meant to be a comfy JRPG-ish thing. it seems to benefit from vertical investment on characters and understanding the mechanics.

That being said, got the Sumeru sword unlocked so I'll get one for Bennet soon. Busy trying to get a fav lance ascended for Xiangling and getting my main units a fully ascended weapon before I tackle building Rosaria.

Dendro MC at max ascension. It wasn't that hard. What's the list of f2p swords for him. Fav? Iron Sting?

While I think Rosaria's hot and I only have her at c1, I do want a better cryo enabler than Diona. (IDK about Kaeya/Chongyun and Qiqi is a pain to use.) I'm also just finding myself considering ascending Barbara too because hydro enabler+dragon slayer is pretty handy considering how heavy my roster is with Pyro characters.

If I loose a 50/50 again, I hope Jean or Tighnari pop up. Tighnari seems to be a rather solid dendro dps and Jean's role compression with VV artifacts seems really handy.

Thoughts on building Candace, Collei, and Beidou as f2p?

Also, it it worth getting a Sac fragments to refinement 4 or should i keep a few copies around. Sucrose is my main tome user right now, but Mona's in the backlog, Klee exists, and idt a c0 Yanfei/Ningguang/Lisa are worth building yet. Barbara doesn't seem to want a spare copy of it either.

I'm not sure if you even have seen any Facebook webgames. They use the same stamina system llike resin.
For Genshin to have this system is "convenient" for devs to not have any trouble with government laws or announcement about limiting gaming time, especially for children.
Genshin isn't p2w.
1) There is no option for players to purchase power directly.
I can spend $100 value of resin and still get tons of trash loots, then still gambling on upgrading the stats. If there were an item that can only be bought with real money and give me guarantee the rolls for both upgrading and loot, then it wouid be P2W.
Check out any random F2P mmo from China, Korea or even Russia, then you'll see what is P2W.

2) Game has no PvP, nor even any leaderboards for even Spiral Abyss, and zero trading or any form of economy.
You have so called Strategy base buildings on Facebook games have pvp contents and leaderboards, encouraging you to raid other players for rewards. Whales can pump loads of money, get faster and guaranteed progress, have more stuffs and so on. They'll be on top.

Fav, stack as much ER if you can.

Thoughts on building Candace, Collei, and Beidou as f2p?
Collei is worse Dendro MC, tiny circle for E.burst. Also, Dendro MC is easily achieved at C6, Collei no.
Beidou is good, a bit more like an AoE sub dps comparing to single target Fischl. E-burst playstyle reliant and more energy hunger. Unless you really like parry playstyle, can workable as on field. But Fischl is better on field option comparing to Beidou.
Candace is very niche. Her role is gives on-field character infused Hydro attack, a support char, not even a sub dps. "Main" team is in Nilou bloom with Yaoyao, or sidegrade to Yun Jin in Ayato team. On field, just slap National, don't expect to do good damage like Tartaglia.

While I think Rosaria's hot and I only have her at c1, I do want a better cryo enabler than Diona. (IDK about Kaeya/Chongyun and Qiqi is a pain to use.) Chongyun gives Cryo infused. Kaeya is a great battery Cryo. Thanks to Dendro, Barbara value is very good.
Just because you have bunch of these characters in your collection, that doesn't mean you have to build them. At least, figuring out team comp you can use or plan a head with future banner leaks.
