Collei is worse Dendro MC, tiny circle for E.burst. Also, Dendro MC is easily achieved at C6, Collei no.
Beidou is good, a bit more like an AoE sub dps comparing to single target Fischl. E-burst playstyle reliant and more energy hunger. Unless you really like parry playstyle, can workable as on field. But Fischl is better on field option comparing to Beidou.
Candace is very niche. Her role is gives on-field character infused Hydro attack, a support char, not even a sub dps. "Main" team is in Nilou bloom with Yaoyao, or sidegrade to Yun Jin in Ayato team. On field, just slap National, don't expect to do good damage like Tartaglia.

Yeah I think I'll just chill and try to get Dendro MC to c6. I'm at c4 right now. I'll build Candace if and only if I get her to c6. Beidou's maybe a build if I get her to c2.

Collei's probably not needed for Dendro stuff since I've also got Yaoyao in the backlog. Kirara's leveled.

Chongyun gives Cryo infused. Kaeya is a great battery Cryo. Thanks to Dendro, Barbara value is very good.
Just because you have bunch of these characters in your collection, that doesn't mean you have to build them. At least, figuring out team comp you can use or plan a head with future banner leaks.
Current team comps are

Hu Tao-Kazuha-Fischl/Xingqiu/Kirara-Diona

Childe-Kazuha/Sucrose-Xiangling-Bennett (I'm assuming that I can replace Childe with Mona, but it sounds very finicky. Mona's c1, but she's also )

I wanna try something that doesn't wind up being `Hu Tao/Childe vape`. It's effective. I've cleared all the main story stuff with them. I want to build Rosaria so I can play with Melts on Hu Tao for funsies.

I'm thinking of working some kinda team with Keqing (she's level 80 already and I may as well make use of her). Something like Keqing, YaoYao, Kuki, Lynette? I've read that aggravate really wants anemo and I do like Lynette and have spare fav swords/iron stings available. I'd probably build this team eventually. If I get Nahida, I'm def. going to try way more dendro teams. Might wind up doing long-term saving for Zhongli/Baizhu for shielding if I feel inclined. Kirara/Diona have been working out for now.

I suppose it is technically true that at a certain point you don't need resin anymore but getting there takes a long, long time. I don't know how the mobile version of genshin differs from the desktop version, but I play the desktop version.
not that long actually, I did the math somewhere in this thread. for example to get a single talent to 6 it takes 22 blue books. you get roughly 3 per domain run, so 7 runs for 20 resin each (probably less). that's 140 resin, 24h refresh is 180. to get the talent to 8 it takes another 10 purple (30 blues), so 10 runs again for 200 resin. this is before you count talent books from events, converter, battlepass etc., and not every char needs 8/8/8 talents (rank 9 is another 12 purples, rank 10 is 16 + crown, that's why I usually stop at 9 for chars up to inazuma since the battlepass drops 5 purple/5 blue books for sumeru+fontaine chars).
this means 2 days to get a single talent to 8, character level was around 4-5 days iirc (can't remember if that was with spending resin on exp scrolls and mora). event chars are lvl 80 with 8/8/8 talents. lvl89/90 with level 9 talents already makes you stronger, and it's a guaranteed upgrade too.

if you play daily or often enough, you'll also accrue characters just from rolling, and every patch there's usually only one new 5* and one 4*, meaning you get more than enough time each patch cycle (6 weeks) to max those. funny enough that's also around the timeframe to max their friendship the fastest.

the longest it's gonna take you if you don't play daily on the side are the elemental gems for character advancement, those drop either slowly from the commission bonus each day, weekly bosses or from spending resin on normal bosses (which you gonna do for the 46 drops needed anyway (at least 23 kills for 40 resin each), but after that it's a waste). so it's either playing long enough to have a large enough stash of those, or waste resin on bosses for only a partial drop (you wanna do weeklies for the 7-10 talent ranks, commissions for the primos).

While I think Rosaria's hot and I only have her at c1, I do want a better cryo enabler than Diona. (IDK about Kaeya/Chongyun and Qiqi is a pain to use.) I'm also just finding myself considering ascending Barbara too because hydro enabler+dragon slayer is pretty handy considering how heavy my roster is with Pyro characters.
depends on the comp. I use rosaria with eula since they're both melee, it gives resonance and a crit buff which means eula can stack more CD. diona with phys fischl for superconduct and shield (iirc SC is 10 seconds, right around the time diona's skill is up again).

but then again I don't do abyss so I'm not that tryhard about optimizations, more about fitting/chill pairing, and always using XL/XQ/bennett is boring (to the point I hardly use them at all).

I want to build Rosaria so I can play with Melts on Hu Tao for funsies.
kaeya, you want to be in melee range for hu tao anyway. rosaria's perk is she has a gap closer, but her burst is stationary and if you charge around with hu tao it's easy to push mobs out of it.

Hu Tao-Kazuha-Fischl/Xingqiu/Kirara-Diona

Childe-Kazuha/Sucrose-Xiangling-Bennett
My pick
Hutao - (mandatory shield slot), Kirara because it doesn't "mess" with Fire reaction like most other elements - Kazuha - Xingqiu.
Get Zhongli to replace Kirara. Zhongli is very flexible in most team.

Baizhu is you want him main support in any dendro related team, a luxury Yaoyao. Or as one of convenient choice for Furina.
I'm thinking of working some kinda team with Keqing (she's level 80 already and I may as well make use of her). Something like Keqing, YaoYao, Kuki, Lynette? Try to get Nahida. Neither Zhongli nor Baizhu will rerun soon anyway. She is the one to apply dendro aura consistently by herself alone even as off field. Most other cases, you need like two dendro units. Only in multiwaves with bunch of low health units can be a some annoyance, her elemental skill maybe still on cooldown.

1) Keqing, Yaoyao, Kuki and Lynette.
I'd rather using either Beidou or Fischl instead of Kuki as sub dps in that team. benefited most from ATK, Cr.Rate, Cr.Damage.
Edit: Anemo can't swirl dendro, I have a feeling it's more of a spread team rather aggrevate. I'm questioning on dendro application isn't good enough.
Maybe even try dendro MC as second dendro unit rather than having second electro unit.

Edit 2: Nevermind, as long as on field dps is electro, should still be Aggrevate even with Lynette swirl, with either single or two dendro units.

2) Use Kuki in your hyperbloom team you can build. Barbara as on field driver, use Yaoyao and dendro MC for dendro application. You don't even need to build Yaoyao as healer, Barbara as healer is good enough or even hybrid healer stats. Main damage will be full elemental mastery Kuki. You only need Kuki C2 for maximum elemental skill duration.
You can even Barbara - DMC - Kirara/Xingiu - Kuki, you'll need that interrupt resistance. Just make sure meeting ER requirement for DMC and Xingiu.

Hyperbloom is lot easier to build than most other team comp, your damage is relied on one character (Kuki or Raiden) to carry 95%. Also damage is scaled on elemental mastery and character levels . Talents level aren't really required. So, whole team can function a lot earlier without much investment. You can level talents to have bit more overall damage or more heals.
Lastly, for this team comp, you only need to go one domain to get Deepwood memories (for dendro unit) and Gilded dreams (for bloom reaction unit). Easy and quick domain too.

Yeah I run the Hu Tao team for actual bossfights and the Childe team for exploration.

So yeah I've hit 70ish rolls so I'm at pity right now iirc. I'll rack up primos and see if I can't grind out more primos. I've still got like over half the story quests and a lot of hangouts to do, on top of like almost 30 world quests.

1) Keqing, Yaoyao, Kuki and Lynette.

Yeah my Kuki's only C0, but I'll probably build her sometime just because Dendro teams seem kinda insane.

Ah, sounds like Kuki's going to need another iron sting. no biggie. I'm sure I'll also need the 15 million gold to get her to level 90.

X Defends Anonymous Accounts in Copyright Challenge

Archive
Cognosphere, the publisher of the wildly popular action role-playing game Genshin Impact, is facing off against X in a dispute centered around the protection of its copyrighted content in the form of leaks.

To combat these leaks, Cognosphere has been actively deploying the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)’s takedown provisions and subpoenas. These legal actions are primarily aimed at social media platforms, compelling them to divulge information on users suspected of copyright infringement.

As reported by TorrentFreak, in November of the previous year, Cognosphere’s efforts intensified when it sought a DMCA subpoena against X. The objective was to obtain detailed information about four specific X accounts, believed to be under the control of one person or entity responsible for leaking copyrighted content. The subpoena, due to be effective on November 22, faced a roadblock as X Corp intervened a day before the deadline, refusing to comply with the request for user information.

The dispute’s intricacies were laid bare in a joint letter to US District Court Magistrate Judge Peter H. Kang, following a failed attempt at reconciliation. Cognosphere narrowed its focus to two X accounts, alleging that they shared artwork and visuals in violation of their copyright. They argued that the explicit nature of the DMCA subpoena requirements justified their request.

X Corp, however, challenged the subpoena process, questioning the sufficiency of a court clerk’s signature to permit access to sensitive user information. Highlighting the importance of anonymous speech, X advocated for a thorough court examination on constitutional and evidentiary bases before revealing such data.

This clash underscores the delicate balance between copyright protection and privacy rights inherent in DMCA subpoenas. While X Corp criticizes the process for potentially infringing on user privacy, Cognosphere counters by arguing that an extensive balancing process isn’t a constitutional necessity. They view X Corp’s stance as contradictory to the intentions of the original DMCA provisions, highlighting the ongoing debate between safeguarding intellectual property and maintaining user privacy in the digital age.

To be fair any video leaks before posted on twitter are usually deleted as DMCA strike anyway. All of so called leakers have their own discord to talk about it in someway. Even content creators know about the leaks.
Leaks are good for customers, especially for this gacha type game. People have better spending-saving plans to roll for characters. No I don't give shit about "Oh no, you are spoiling people" and "hurting billions dollar company, most importantly employees".

to a degree, but the whales who go by meta usually dump their shit early anyway. even casuals do due to FOMO and "I want it NOW".
I've never really seen anyone go "I really wanted to spend everything on current char, but now that X is leaked I'm gonna save", especially when the leaks aren't that great anyway. they might not roll on more constellations or the weapon, but anyone who has a spending limit saves one way or another, which will still end up in mihoyo's coffers tbh.
and outside of mihoyo where constant powercreeps happen "saving" means either never catching up or inevitably be outclassed, so why save anyway (or play, since that's retarded design imho. you catch more flies with honey, see: genshin)?

I guess, but I do think they release characters who are strong consecutively on purpose. Such as Baizhu after Nahida and later with Furina.

They buried it in the 4.4 update notes but now if you don't have certain commission achievements those commissions will now happen more frequently, which is great because I'm still stuck in Sumeru trying to finish off that fucking cat one.

Peeked at the new light cones. They're interesting but I don't think any of them are inherently better than the other F2P light cones at least with the current cast. If I didn't have Blade's signature cone I'd probably go for the new Destruction one but otherwise the only one that seems immediately useful is the new Erudition cone which gives a crit dmg buff if you attack at least two enemies that have the corresponding weakness type.

I am looking forward to Penacony overall though, if only because it'll be nice to finally have a change in scenery.

I just find this one is really amusing. Weeb stuff about people below.
Chiaki "Neki" Matsuzawa (anime-manga-games reporter/interviewer, had a tweet with Aoi Yuuki about Gaming's neck mole, Shirakami Fubuki is also in tweet thread). Not really a "surprise" why she holds Misha.
Shinnosuke Tachibana (Argenti), Hitomi Nabatame (Black Swan) and Kengo Kawanishi (Aventurine).

Chiori stuff. Seems likely sidegrade or can even be an upgrade to Albedo, still stuck for mono Geo team. Her doll(s) turret isn't a construct,
And then this questionable (not exactly confirmed) new type of banner. It supposedly also has epitomized path.

tbh expected her to be 5* gorou for navia/general geo, gonna wait and see how it goes.

as for banners, they really have to change things. if they really go with epitomized I doubt people take it as well. they can get away with it on the weapon banner because most people don't give a shit, but being forced to spend at least 3x pity for guarantee compared to a coinflip is something else...

I've been feeling really burned out with genshin, to the point i kinda decided to quit after this update and even dumped all my saved starglitter on current banners, got Xianyun C1, which i regret but at the same time it's good to say fuck it and not care that much anymore, at least her skill is fun and she's an anemo healer which is always nice for someone without jean.

AND THEN THE GAME TROLLS ME

After thousand years, i have finally got her! Jean my beloved! She're taking Wanderer's VV and furina's jade cutter, i'll worry about him later.

It's like the game only gave her to me out of spite to guilt trip me into keep playing it... But i must resist, after lantern rite free shit i'll stop until the farming is more worthy or something, i'm too tired of the daily quest slog and artifact grind. At least in star rail i can auto battle and alt tab while doing something else.

I've already given up on Genshin. I'll still talk about it with a coworker from time to time, but I've moved on to Star Rail, amongst other gachas. The auto-battle is too good to pass up

Tbf, I had the Genshin burn out around after couple of weeks Star Rail release. I skipped entire patch to play HSR only. I agree on sentiment like playing one gacha game is enough. Playing two is kinda too much. I decide to stick with Genshin because I got filtered by Xianzhou, debatable power creep, and my expectation of live service game - not rushing contents. Since Genshin only has like two nations left, I'll stay around for 2-3 years.
If I were an entirely new to MHY games, I definitely pick HSR. Lots more comfortable and giving away stuffs.

At least, Xianyun heal follows you unlike Jean circle impact. I see her becomes like 3rd buffer along with Faruzan and Furina for hyper carry plunge or on field anemo dps.

I mostly stop playing Genshin once i max out the battle pass, so for each patch cycle I stop playing for 2 weeks or so, which is enough of a break that I don't really get burnt out on the game much. With HSR once I consume all the story content I just drop the game until the next patch because while auto battle is great, it makes the game super boring lol.

I almost never bother with the dailies nowadays, I just grab a few chests or do events to skip them. Kinda forces you to ration exploration though.
I still do my chores for the primos, but haven't done much exploration or story for the last 3 zones.

ironically their new feature of chests and shit counting for dailies automatically meant I play less, since stories and exploration features are finite, and because mihoyo had the retarded idea they only count for that single day, I "save" story and exploration to the point I hardly do it at all. gg chinks, make people play your game less...

Trying to get Dan Heng IL since I skipped him for Fu Xuan, and all I've gotten are Guinaifen eidolons. She's E5 now. I also got a copy of Misha.
