It was finally my time to get Qiqi'd. On the other hand, it happened again.

I wish Navia's sunglasses weren't tied to the specific animation, but I think I'm going to be having some fun with her.

Wow you guys got some good rolls. All my Fontaine luck went to early Furina and winning all the coin flips for Neuvillette plus Tome, so I got Navia on an unexciting 80 roll guarantee. I'm really glad she's not just Itto or Noelle again, because her character design is so good I probably would have gotten her even if she was boring to play.

They've really hit it out of the park with the Fontaine 5 stars, giving us a support that enables new team comps and a bunch of strong DPS characters with unique playstyles (minus Lyney).

I'm really getting to hate the time gating on upgrading skills with weekly bosses, though. Pretty much all of my new cool characters don't have their talents where I want them because I don't have enough boss materials. I'm still leveling Neuvillette too because I didn't even know the Apep boss fight existed until I got him. It used to feel more reasonable, but I guess my patience with the system is running out.

I dont have Liney but he does play different from what you'd expect, even in the context of "it's klee monopyro but with bow ". He wants bennet meaning he has to play inside the circle and if he uses xiangling he need to be near. You actually have to play around your taunts if you want to optimize him.

I always do 3 weekly bosses so i have 150 dream solvent and a ton of spare mats but yeah, its still too long to cap a new character. I crowned furina burst and skill and it takes 4 weeks go 7-8-9-10 so it took me 2 MONTHS.

I think it feels worse now cause Star Rail lets you farm the same weekly 3 times and they're all story based while genshin locks them behind optional archon quests that you have no reason to complete UNLESS you need the materials. Apep is the worst cause it's not even Apep who's the boss, it's a random leafworm so it's easy to forget this boss exists and you still had to clear nahida's second quest that requires finishing sumeru.

So how is Navia as a main DPS? I like the claymore and want use someone other them Eula.
Mine is still low level and ungeared but from what i understand she is a weird type of dps.

-She has two skill casts with 9s and 3 particles
-Her skill gets double damage after you pick 3 cristalyze meaning you're not supposed to dump both at once
-Her skill gives 4s of geo infusion which is concidentally enough for 1 full combo so you want to do skill into 1 combo
-her ult rains homing geo shots that ensure cristalizes

This means navia has at most 9s~ of field time that require you to proc 3 cristals and pick them between each shot, and since you dont start with cristals, she must burst at the start and rotate.

I think she's gonna feel really weird at first because no one in this game ever made a team designed around chrystalize spam, but even then i dont think Navia is strong enough to "hypercarry" either. They definitely expect you to get a subdps like albedo + xinqiu or xingling to back her up. She is a geo unit who wants to do a lot of cristals but your teamates cant react too much with each other or else there is no cristals.

She is a novel idea that doesnt solve christalize or geo's issues, she just forces you to actually use geo reactions.

btw there is a combat event going on and i expect navia to be usable for free during one of the stages so for anyone who wants her but isnt sure wait a bit to see if she's there and try her out in real combat.

I blew 143 rolls for her, it was worth it just for her design alone.
She's fun to use, although she is very reliant on shield crystal generation for her DPS. That's the main limiting factor for her Main DPS utility.
Although I had to admit, I was kinda doubtful about getting the weapon at all as I was divebombed by Neuvillete's book at the previous weapon banner(I didn't roll for him).

Site is back to normal, back to posting.
Got Navia and her sig weapon, overall she's fun to play if anyone like screenshot damage a lot. Pairing her with Zhongli, Fischl and Raiden feels lot more convenient to play, without relying on E burst, Bennett - Xiangling combo probably have higher potential. Beidou can be in there instead of Raiden for "copium," I dont have Raiden level up nor own Yae Miko.

Stacking spiral abyss ATK bonus, can give skill damage 160-200k crits, depending on how many crystal charge. Then again, there's Neuvillete probably do the same with each tick during his CA. Usually my Navia hit like 160k max crystal charge in overworld, LV8 E skill.
Navia.png
That is 3k ATK (boost from Geo synergy), 62% Cr.Chance, 197% Cr.Damage. Copium with 2pc 2pc ATK% bonus. I feel like having 70% Cr.Chance should be aimed for Navia, more consistent crit.
Anyway, she can gain lots of energy back quite fast during her E burst, so ER probably not needed that much. At least in a 2 geo, 2 electro team.

Also, having front load burst is neat for bosses that don't have much screen time like Worm, Ruin Serpent. Only annoying teleporting like Maguu Kenki can mess up timing on Navia's charge shot. The need to suck 6 crystals for max charge.

Rambling about current event,
Two Musketeers story. Premise is having two children born from a maid in a house with a lord. But because of social status discrimination, mother of these two were killed/poisoned, so two siblings decide to train themselves for revenge.
However, due to artistic vision difference, Furina thinks older child may dwarf younger one's role in story. Making them having similar age will work better for their bond.

This premise and change are very similar to an airing anime this season, Migi and Dali (Dari). An orphanage twins are adopted into a family, but behind their innocent facade, they have been waiting for a long time to find out who behinds their mom death and revenge. The plot reveal is very WTF and even more WTF if anyone noticing JP voice actresses of twins' mom and perfect rich kid's mom (it's kinda cursed).
Still this one has comedy and not so serious like Genshin version. Migi and Dali is written by late Nami Sano, known for Sakamoto desu ga? What does Furina have or may have something in common with Nami Sano? At least Migi and Dali is finished, unlike well.... Berserk.
Edit: edit parts in orange colour.
Edit 2: 4.4 stuffs
4.4 free char.png Free skin select.png

New region and along with new "Sumeru's onion", "Inazuma's sakura tree", "Dragon spire's tree". No new tier for Fontaine foutain yet.
4.4 map.png 4.4 exploration reward.png

I guess gonna skip on Miko "again", on 50/50 and I need more primos gem.
4.4 banner1.png 4.4 banner2.png

Should be artifact loadout coming, sorting on artifact affix first base on full set or 2pc 2pc set, then you can adjust out of set one(s) as custom loadout saved on specific character.

Navia's pretty fun. I don't have her signature weapon yet but Wolf's Gravestone works well enough for now. I'm not sure if she necessarily solves Geo's problems but it's a step towards making Crystallize actually a worthwhile reaction to use. In terms of easily generating crystals, an Electro-charged team seems to work well so I've been pairing her up with Fischl or Raiden and Xingqiu with Noelle for healing/geo resonance. Zhongli would probably be the best choice for a second Geo character but he's eluded me on three banners now, but leaked info suggests that Chiori is going to be a Geo support and I'm willing to bet her kit will be designed for Navia.

Got greedy AGAIN with Ruan mei trying to get xueiy, now i actually feel kinda bad cause i'm zeroed on rolls. That's 3 times in a row i get someone between 35-45 which didnt used to be overextending in my head.

I guess i should shut up and not complain, i've been lucky all things considered. Ruan mei is really fun btw but mine is ungeared yet and i still need to kill the new weekly boss for her. Her E1 gives 20% defense pierce during ult which isnt strong as it sounds but its nice i guess, could be worse.

I lost my 50/50 to Yanqing, but nevertheless, got Blade and Xueyi. I don't know if I'll try to get Ruan Mei...

Tried to go for Ruan Mei twice, but since I pulled HuoHuo way back in 1375, the game dumped my last 2 March 7th eidolons on me instead

Im a little sad Shenhe isn't in the upcoming banners but at least I'll have more time to save for her

returned to genshin in the middle of january after having dropped the game since the original Kazuha banner.

The QoL stuff brought me back in. Thankfully, it seems Hu Tao didn't fall off and I'd apparently built a C6 Fischl/Xiangling, a C3 Xingqiu, a C1 Bennet, and a Diona.

Finished Inazuma.

I've done some stuff. Dendro seems interesting enough to eventually build Kirara towards. Geo seems to still have garbage reactions. FInished fully ascending Hu Tao/Deathmatch today, but I'm not max levelling Hu Tao yet bc that's like 7 million gold or some shit.

Since my key players have their talents filled out to a reasonable degree, I was thinking of replacing Sucrose with Kazuha in my main team, building Kirara as a Hu Tao shielder, and then possibly building Tartaglia as a second on field DPS (got me a spare Stringless). Klee's always been clunky to use and Keqing seems to have fallen off a bit, if my understanding is correct. I do intend to fully build Rosaria, BEidou, Kuki, and Candace for waifu purposes way down the line when I'm done building the proper teams. Noelle's going to be built sometime in the coming months, alongside Kazuha/Kirara.

I don't know how good anyone post Liyue is. I've got a vague idea of who's generally good, which seems to be all the Archons and 5 star support characters. I find it fucking funny that, somehow, Amber is still kinda shitty.

I'm not sure how worthwhile a lot of newer characters on my roster are in terms of building.

Kazuha is way more convenient to use than sucrose, get him to 90 with EM/EM/EM VV and you'll feel the difference, his only issue is energy issues at C0 but you can give him amenoma katana or fav sword if you prefer.

If you want to use keqing seriously then you need an agravate team, the best you can make is either Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao and kazuha or sucrose. It's not going to be top tier but it should be "viable" for endgame.

There are rumors next patch will feature Xiao/Cloud retainer -> Nahida/Yae and if you want to play dendro comps definitely get Nahida as she's the best universal dendro. Kirara dendro aplication sucks hard by comparison.

Childe doesnt want stringles since it gives EM, he wants ant atk or crit bow, Rust is fine on him if you have it. Childe/ben/XL/kazuha is a top tier speedrunner team but requires high investment and big tryharding, if you're into that.

Kuki actually turned top tier after sumeru. If you want to do abyss/endgame with low effort then invest on kuki, simply using her + xinqiu + nahida/haitham makes a top tier hyperbloom team and you can farm for nahida and kuki on the same domain.

Out of the units you have, Yaoyao and rosaria are both very solid and worth training, the first is good for dendro resonance, healing and agravate comps and the second is a good battery+subdps for Ayaka/ganyu freeze teams, but still usable on melt teams too.

And yeah Geo is kinda dead, the only one i'd realistically recommend is zhongli as he's the true universal flex pick. Navia is gorgeous but her kit is kinda janky and i dont like playing her on practice, both for exploring or abyss.

gonna finish Kazuha this week, then work on Kirara and Noelle as I want shielders for Hu Tao.

Thinking of either Keqing or Childe as my main DPS for a second team. I do have a Rust laying around so it may be Childe. IDK, I got Bennet to a built state aside but I need decent filler artifacts.

Rosaria's pretty hot so I may build her and Beidou because waifu.

I think I'll focus on getting through the archon quest shit so i get more stuff and more primogems. Finished Inazuma means it's to the Chasms for me.
