Current abyss was kinda easy but i guess it's because i'm just too strong at this point. Finally reached ar59 and defeated Electronid boss on abyss, i feel like i have all the important essential comps covered and can handle anything the game throws at me. People who dont have much variety will probably struggle here since you need an archer for the drake and someone who can hit electronid reliably.

In other beta news, just 2 hours ago Faruzan was nerfed AGAIN so her buff was reduced from 40% anemo bonus + shred to 30%. Yea yea she's still the best anemo support but if it keeps happening she wont be.

not really sure what this is about. i thought it might be related to the current photography event since they're near the spot but their dialogue has nothing to do with anything. did i miss something?

Apparently they only appear once you start the event but they were not shownin any of the event previews so i have no idea what they're doing there. Maybe its because last yoimiya banner she didnt even appear so now she's just hanging there and you can talk to her which is better than nothing i guess.
 
After failing to get Candace and taking 150 wishes to get Nahida, my lousy luck turned around and I sniped Layla in 7 wishes without getting spooked with cons that I don't want. I don't care that I have C1 Zhongli and C6 Diona, she is adorable and I will make her work in my freeze team.

I had to go up to 20 rolls for her, then another 20 for heizou. with a c5 favonius greatsword (at least something) and c8 rainslasher (meh). FML.

tempted to go full pity and see if could grab yae miko, since she's kinda fun to play with dendro and layla now, but prolly gonna save since getting 4* constellations is always a shitshow. otoh I have no constellations on any of the 4*, so every pull would be an improvement.

went in with 150 wishes, came out with c5 layla, tighnari, a jean constellation, and miko. pretty good imo, i think i'll try for layla c6 since i wouldn't mind accidentally getting a miko constellation
 
Pulled a Miko going for more Heizou cons. My Hyperbloom team just got infinitely better, still only pulled one con for Heizou. (and two Layla, which I didn't even want)
 
I never got around to saying this despite noticing things months ago, but the fucking monkey ass pattern recognition part of my brain can't stop seeing the Kiwi Farms logo in Tighnari's anime dog boy hair. His dialogue and manner of speech in the english version also reminds me of Null which does not help. I'm know this is all a coincidence, but my god damn subconscious brain won't stop screaming at me he's a scrapped Null Vtuber.

afraid that's gonna be me in a week - just with 0 heizou cons and 3 thoma's.
prolly depends who's on the banner next to scaradouche, at least miko is more usable now with dendro. also might have more primos to spare since I get the feeling dehya isn't 5* xianling, but 5* pyro chongyun (without the infusion, since everyone just loves bennett's c6), and nilou is probably months out. all the chars I would want constellations for just had a re-run too, it's probably back to saving time.

another thing I came to appreciate about the game - the chinks can actually be subtle about stuff instead of shoving it in your face compared to "get it?!?!" western devs, and even put in stuff you can miss (usually that annoys me, but since it's only dialog - and if they're smart they keep it at that - I can always look it up later). it's similar to how chars have different running sounds, xinyan has her bongo drum guitar, nahida her melody etc.


the only other thing that bothers me that it's only happens during a certain quest state, and there's nothing indicating he'll be running around there (unless I missed it), so finding it yourself can be quite hard.

I wish they'd announce the 4* pulls that will appear on the 5* banners. There's a couple support characters I'm looking for, and until I know they're coming up, I'm delaying getting materials for them because I'm busy on characters I already have.

doesn't really matter, getting 4* stars is such a crapshot it should only be done when you're ok with getting the 5* (or con) and blow your pity; I usually stop after getting the 5* I want, then roll a few times on the same or next banner to see if I can grab a few of the 4*. if I get the 5* in the first 20-40 it's not a total waste compared to 60+. problem with that is once you do hit like 50, you really gotta save. which can be a pain if there's a bunch of good 4* but you really don't want to blow your pity (that's how I ended up not rolling for almost 6 months to the point I was out of stardust).
don't forget the event 4* gets added to the standard banner afterwards. sure, chances are even more fucked, but it's still a chance. you don't have to blow all your standard primos the minute you get them, I'm still sitting on around 80 or so I think.

besides that you can take an estimate when the last 4* had a run, there's usually a matrix on fucking reddit), and who's the 5*. itto will probably come with gorou, raiden will probably come with sara. then for phase 1 you probably also got faruzan (which I assume is the same as gorou/sara, just as anemo for wanderer). last one prolly kuki since I don't have her at all and it's just my luck I want none of the 5* (and lore-wise she's part of itto's gang).

as for materials, boss drops are easily farmed, even more when you want to farm the jewels after getting a char. like if you want geo jewels but already got all the boss drops for your - or every - char that uses those, there's really no point farming that boss anymore. for example there's no point in keep farming the geo hypostasis when you could farm the chasm boss or the hound in inazume. same elemental jewels, different drops (just in case). but elemental jewels are shit anyway since they drop in uneven amounts (you only need 46 boss drops compared to like over hundred or so jewels), so if you don't want to waste your resin you have to wait to either slowly accumulate them via the daily reward (you get one each day) or weekly bosses (which at least give you other stuff on top of it).

flowers and other stuff just grab when you're doing your daily stuff anyway, a slight detour doesn't take long and is less annoying than having to farm limited stuff with a respawn timer - this way you can just grab the ones from the good spots over a few weeks instead of running across half the zone for a single flower. artifacts just grab 2x 2pc what you have lying around (if it's a support I usually just use one of my exile pieces, can always replace those later).

funny enough the description for rukkashava mushrooms still mentions her, dunno if they missed it or left a reference in on purpose.

meh, they changed the definition of it. should've just removed it outright, this kinda feels a bit like a cop-out and confusing if you don't look them up in the archive.

I'm reminded of the words of other leak aggregators; nobody really cares about who's doing the leaking and if caught they'll just be a name on a funny lawsuit.

that's nothing new, they went after honey impact september last year and even sued bilibili for some leakers identity (no idea what happened afterwards).
still remember it because there was a big outcry, honey has a lot of info archived in general, and given discord troonery and content creator retardation a fair share of leaked material is monetized one way or another (which is the other reason they go after them no one wants to talk about).
 
I played with fire trying to get a single layla and got an early 5* for once

Man i bashed tighnari's design so much when i first saw it but it looks a lot better in motion and his ear animations are pretty.

His playstyle is also a lot more fluid than i thought, skill -> burst -> 3 quick shots is fun and applies a lot of dendro very fast. YES, he is NOT ganyu and if you try to force him on field you will waste a lot of time but the option is there so he's can still use them on coop.

Its not jean again but i'm still happy. I'll level and gear him in a few days and post my thoughts, any tips are apreciated.

Leakers said 3.3 first half is Faruzan + gorou + yanfei so it makes sense. Faru is a scaramouche support, gorou is itto's support and yanfei has been away for a while.

Faru is kinda bad before c6 tho so be warned anyone who wants to use her with scara or xiao.
