I think BS+freeze ganyu excels more at AOE, while melt ganyu you might not even want to burst in order to keep the pyro application upAmos + WT set easily gives Ganyu the damage she is renowned for (40k -60k per shot, go for the eyes !) A good shot will one shot those silly specters.
Haven't tried her with BS, though she shouldn't be shooting much with it.
Honestly, I'd say both are great in their own way. I'm probably never not using Zhongli now, but Kazoo makes Elemental Reactions easy. Also, I'd go as far as to say that him, Jean, & Sayu are the only fun Anemo characters that exist.Who is more useful to have around/fun, Zhongli or Kazuha?
Same reason why I find mobile Genshin experience terrible. Aiming on PC (dunno console) is superior than mobile.but i find going in and out of zoom very awkward to the point it gives me minor headache.![]()
Same reason why I find mobile Genshin experience terrible. Aiming on PC (dunno console) is superior than mobile.
An example is the electrical disturbances puzzles you can solve with Venti's sharp shooting. What became a breeze on PC became a slog on mobile, to the point of missing point blank.
Despite that drawback, mobile versions enjoy the quick looting and easy account swapping. SMH
Bruh, Zhongli is too good. His shield is literally making the fact that I cannot survive WL3 on units & conditions I have rn, just kind of a trivial minor inconvenience. Seriously, my game on many things is somewhere between laughably terrible & terribly laughable.
How can one shield can have so much power? Like seriously, holy fucking shit.
What I've learned from my tracked wish history is that if there's a 50/50, I'm going to lose it. Until recently, 5*s required on average 60+ rolls and I'm still annoyed about being 12 rolls away from a confirmed Raiden but running out of wishes to make it happen. That said, I do have a fairly good track record of pulling the 4* characters I want when I go for them.
I feel like I can't play this game without Zhongli now. That shield is way too good to go without. And as you said, all those "eithers" combined are my issues with WL3.To give a serious answer, it's because zhongli's shield has 250% absorption against geo (exclusive) and 150% against all elements (like noele) and since it's geo it takes no reaction dmg. His first passive gives up to 25% shield strenght as you get hit and he has the second highest hp after hu tao.
In other words, it's the best shield in the game and has 100% uptime for free.
But if you were struggling at WL3 either your underleveled, not upgrading your weapons and artifact. or forgeting about talents (this is the time where grinding starts mattering). I mostly used 2pc bersekr 2pc sojourner/exile +12 on everyone until i started farming 5* arts at ar45.

> My weapons are in fact, underleveled & at around LvL 40-50.
> My characters are also around 40-50, with only Kaeya & Beidou at 60.
> I'm running the shittiest artifacts because I wasn't ready enough for WL2, let alone WL3 (which surprised me more about Zhongli, so I'm gonna grind Tenacity soon, & give him the R5 Black Tassel, specially for that grind, alongside the HP boost). But my Benny & Xingqiu are garbage at the moment.
Thanks for all the advice, it'll help a lot. From all that, I know one main thing for sure. I need to make my Benny useful by all means (kinda wish they bring the Festering Desire back), even if it's just as a healer. And, my Xingqiu needs to be more than just my "make them wet cause you don't know how to use him even if you have C2 on him" unit.I'm sorry if it sounds retarded captain obvious advice but i'll try to be more direct with tips than what i see online
1-Dont focus too much on "getting strong", think it as ways to make "grinding easier" and that strenght will come naturally. What i mean by this is, think of how long you take to clear dailies and bosses and think on ways to make that faster. You'll know you suceeded when you feel it.
2-Early on you gotta understand how you need X to level Y to level X again and plan accordingly. For example:
Lets say you wanna train xinqiu but you dont have someone to deal with oceanid. I guess you gotta train kaeya and lisa but now you need someone to kill cryo regis and elec cube. I guess you gotta train xingling but now you need someone to deal with pyro regis. I guess you gotta train xinqiu so he can... oh wait.
What i mean is, early on you should try leveling 2-4 strong characters who can help each get stronger. My team when i was starting (1.6) was rosaria, beidou, benet cause 2 of them can easily farm the other one's boss (barbara even at level 1 can stunlock pyro regisvine). Meanwhile, i see a lot of beginners who got yanfei early struggling cause they straight up cant farm primo geo.
TL;DR: Get a pyro AND a cryo dps ASAP, they make farming easier.
3-Dont do artifact domains until AR45, you can survive til there with chest drops. As i said, i mostly used 2pc berserk (12% crit), 2pc sojourner (18%) atk and 2pc exile (20% ER) and got those on 12-16. What really matters is leveling up offensive main stats, this usually means atk% hourglass / element dmg goblet / CR or CD crown which is where the bulk of your stats come from.
4-The final weapon domains are AR40 and you should put your good weapons at least level 70 by this AR cause it's not so expensive. It doesnt take long to farm weapon mats and many domains can be cheesed or done in coop and as long as you have at least 1 spammy healer (qiqi, bennet, etc) people will carry you.
5-You can somewhat ignore talents until AR4 where you should do some of the lvl 36 domains. They cant drop gold but always drop 2 silver which is what usually drops at AR45. Talent scaling gets stronger with level which is massive late game. Early on tho you should on the skills that are your main damage source or main support (like benet burst). Up to level 6 isnt that expensive, it's after that it takes gold mats and tons of mora.
You got zhongli tho who should make the grind a lot easier since he is useful on pretty much all bosses (not oceanid) and domains and is actually useful against his own boss (geo hipo cant do shit against his shield). Give him an hp lance or Fav spear, dont worry about milelith now, use atk/geo/cr or hp/hp/hp arts for now and level up his talents (not normal attack unless you like fighting with him), you cant go wrong with those.
Dont know your plans for next 5* and how many gems you have saved, but unless you want ganyu, i recomend saving for kazuha next since he's a pretty strong and versatile character and anemo CC is extremely rare (i'm ar56 and my sucrose is c0). If raiden appears she's also pretty good.
Genshitter retardation aside, they're going to Singapore with their publisher sub-group Cognosphere. So they're technically shifting.Well, the new Outfits have dropped. They look alright, though I’m probably never gonna use them…
Aaand the Fandom is flipping it’s shit because these’ll be the outfits used in Cutscenes going forward. To which I say, no shit - anyone that thinks MHY would make multiple versions of the same cutscene to account for players not using the changed outfits, and getting that past the Chinese fans, needs to go touch grass. Add in cries about how “they better not censor more characters”, this fandom is a dumpster fire that keeps on giving.
Also I was noticing some comments re: MHY moving it’s offices to Singapore, anyone else hear anything about that or is that some Hopium?
This has already happened, to a certain degree. Genshin is technically no longer published by Mihoyo, but by a Singaporean company called Cognosphere. However, this is mainly financial wizardry and Cognosphere is Mihoyo in all but name. Supposedly, this move was made to help with cash flow because doing international gaming business from within China sucks shit. The game still has a massive Chinese userbase though, so they're still going to have bend over to the CCP to some degree. The international front should at least keep them from compromising completely in other markets so we can keep our fanservice and twinks. Also I was noticing some comments re: MHY moving it’s offices to Singapore, anyone else hear anything about that or is that some Hopium?

I swear they fucked with the rate, I was getting cucked around 40-50 by diluc twice but suddenly coco goat girl takes almost 70+ while showering me with useless xinque and beidous (nigga I still need yanfei constellations, I've maxed those other two ages ago), r6 rain slasher and r5 bell. well at least finally got r5 rust and r1 dragon's bane (which I still have no use for...)Well look who decided to show up around 75ish pity.

Only took 30 pulls, also got a Dragon's Bane, Xingqiu's 4th constellation and Beidou (already maxed). Fortunately, this leaves the wish stockpile mostly intact.
Edit: Holy shit Ganyu easily does lots of damage.
you talking shit about my girl sucrose?Honestly, I'd say both are great in their own way. I'm probably never not using Zhongli now, but Kazoo makes Elemental Reactions easy. Also, I'd go as far as to say that him, Jean, & Sayu are the only fun Anemo characters that exist.
don't waste resin on artifacts at that level, at that point even a simple exile set will do (or even a mishmash of HP gear) and you get loads of that by grinding the bosses to level the chars, while saving the resin for talent books/weapon parts/char exp (if you want to minmax only grind the stuff that doesn't upgrade soon, no point grinding talent books at 35 when domain level III unlocks at 36 for example).I feel like I can't play this game without Zhongli now. That shield is way too good to go without. And as you said, all those "eithers" combined are my issues with WL3.

this was recently changed globally, up until december or so it was mihoyo directly except epic store, now it's all cognosphere.I know everyone assumes this was to run away from china censorship but those are rumors, the devs themselves said the reason was more types of payment. I feel like no one ever reads the whole thing on the website.

cutscenes need the "default" look, so due to the change in china they had to update those. for china those old skins might as well not exist anymore (also shouldn't be that hard to change). it's also more consistent for anyone starting now.View attachment 2926868
Probably not. Making fanservicey characters that need an alternate outfit is enough of an extra cost that they're going back and changing the damn cutscenes as well instead of making double the artwork/assets.
