It's actually the opposite with Yunjin. Her model was leaked long ago with Geo vision but then a bunch of leakers kept saying over and over that her vision changed to anemo so everyone took it for granted... only for her to be Geo anyway.

And xiao/ganyu are confirmed how? If anything, Yunjin being Geo now makes zongli thirdrun sound less impossible.

If Shenhe really turss out to be physical dps then i might change my eula plans, i only really need one and i already have a crescent pike with nobody using.

Whether it's elaborate guess work or not, I can't tell, but the timing at least internally makes sense.

Only thing I'm hoping for Shenhe's kit is that she's not locked into being another Cryo main DPS. I'll still roll for her regardless because muh waifus but I'd like it if she offers something different

To be counter fair, the leakers doubled down super hard on Yunjin "definitely not being Geo" which while a logical assumption, was never "confirmed" even with the art.

There were voice lines about Shenhe in the files and 2.4 is chinese new year (lantern rite) so that could've been a guess. I mean, they still knew about double reruns but they were also wrong about the weapon so who knows.

Alas, not saying it's not posible or logical but it's not really "confirmed". Shenhe's design changed and nobody knew until it was officially revealed. If anything, it's possible Yunjin was originally geo, then turned anemo then turned Geo again in order to give Itto more teammate options. Devs can change stuff at will.

My only hope with shenhe is to not be another field dps who presses a button to buff+enchant, attack element for 10 seconds and leaves, like yoimiya, raiden, kokomi and itto. Even worse if she only excels in permafreze like ayaka (i love her but that playstyle is boring af).

I have like 3k freemos only, I'm not even in the realm of summoning still something left, but saving like fuck. Not to include, what makes it worse is the fact that I got all the TTs from just chests. I fucked up really bad.

There are three possibilities that I can think of:

1. Mihoyo was planning on making her anemo, but then changed it to geo. They then forgot to change her event art which was done ahead of time before the change.
2. Mihoyo had her vision colored like that on purpose to weed out leakers.
3. The guy coloring the event art was half asleep and colored it in, thinking it was one of the pompoms on her head.

Regardless what, the best way to determine the character's worth is waiting a week after the banner release. Worked well during Kazuha, it won't fail now.

i say that only because of shenhe's relation to the adepti, plus lantern rite coming up. full geo update could mean a full cryo update too. it's gonna be almost a full year at this point since the two have showed up, it's just really weird to delay them this much

Alas, i also think it's probably going to be xiao/ganyu since it will a whole year since their first run but there is really no confirmation, only the assumption that it has to be since it's lantern rite + it's been a year. I'll just say again, only the beta stuff (leyline, voicelines, weapons, etc) can "confirm" reruns.

Big if true. Honkai allegedly added more weapon types later so it's not impossible. I guess most people would love this but this would dilute the weapon gacha super hard. I'm still lacking a bunch of 4* weapons like stringless and fav sword. Hopefulyl it's something fun like gun gloves or somethin.

i bet mhy is still struggling for balance dendro, so they're delaying sumeru as much they can.
yaoyao's design is cute, tbh. i think the wikia didn't put that as i remember reading that mhy didn't say "yeah, the green loli is yaoyao" and for this, the wikia can't put her.

My bet is Dragonspine except a hole, and instead of staying warm you stay cool. Probably an out of bounds mechanic that will teleport you out if you jump straight to the bottom instead of doing caves, maybe they even take away the glider for certain areas. Then you will never go back until they run an event there a year later.

My only hope is that they aren’t as teleport back heavy as the Fog on whatsitsnuts Island - that last one in Inazuma we only go back to for Dailies and grabbing Mushrooms for Thoma - where if you go off the path for like, 3 seconds you’d be teleported back to the start. That was obnoxious as all hell, and if they had that for a whole region until story progress was finished that’d be a nightmare to explore.

As for Dendro, I think a big chunk of it being delayed is that they don’t have it’s Reactions hammered out yet - see the Dendro Slimes, how the only thing they react to is Pyro. I’d imagine they’d want those sorted before releasing any Dendro characters, nevermind Sumeru.

I would be down with that cause it forced the puzzle/gameplay to be a quick "get in and get out" type of style while racing to see if you can beat the environment timer.

Didn't know the farms had an active genshin thread.
I started a week or 2 after the game came out because my younger brother asked me to do some pulls for him since im pretty lucky with gacha games. he plays on mobile so when he told me it could be played on pc i got it. Venti was the banner right then i didnt know much so i used all my starting bonus primos on the overgrown anomo particle nigga. got him to c1 in about 5 10X summons it was a very good start.
im ar56 right now, i mostly roll for for animo characters since they are objectively the most fun.
this is a gacha so i dont expect everyone to be as fortunate as me, ive only bought 3 items total in the game, a welkin pass one time. the battle pass one time(wanted the cool bow for childe) and the skin for jean(i rolled 3 jeans in about a week, 2 of them were 8 summons apart in the standard summon)
im pretty much f2p; saving up for a ganyu rerun since i have god tier artifacts for her
game is fun to chill out and relax, the endgame is mostly the abyss right now, but the game has potential and i like the exploration, i dont really care about the story i just want to explore and kill shit and have a clean base game to come back to after i play some janky shit.
its like a character power based version of breath of the wild where your weapons arnt consumables. the worst part of the game is probably the artifact grind, the best is probly how clean and compatible the game is. I play most of the harder content with my brother since its fun to do weekly bosses in coop (hes on mobile im on pc) we like to pick different characters to roll for the only character we both have is albeto since we both got him on accident. looking forward to playing more of the game since the chinese don't really like faggots or niggers i expect it to be pretty good.

Dendro is probably taking forever cause it will require a massive overhaul on all the world design since grass is everywhere.

Like, if you use travelers tornado on grass, it's going to be a dendronado now. Any anemo attack on grass will swirl dendro. Anyone standing on grass is dendrofied meaning you will proc dendro reactions ALL THE TIME. Even if you dont have dendro characters, it's going to dramatically change combat from early to late game.

it comes from wishes tho. I still got one chest weapon I'm missing one last refinement of and apparently mihoyo doesn't design new chests with those drops anymore.

I usually grab welkin since I log in every day anyway, might as well get some primos extra (and it's damn good value for few bucks. added bonus: 300 crystals, so at some point you gonna be able to spend it on shop stuff.
