There was a new four star weapon only Albedo could possibly utilise right now. Also a new artifact set that supports geo damage out of pocket. Plus, some parts of cutscenes got leaked, I believe. Childe was just harder for people to accept, since it was the first second rerun of a 5 star, even before some of them got their first one.

The difference is Itto is actually more restrictive in terms of team comps. Outside of universal buffs like Bennett, Tenacity, and Thrilling Tales, Eula at least plays well with Electro for superconduct, Geo for shields and resonnance, and Cryo supports like Rosaria and Diona. Itto has Geo teams and that's it.
Okay, but what is the gameplay? You hit things to get a stacking buff, then burst to attack faster and as geo damage?
Basically that's it, from what I can tell. His normal attack chain and bull summon all grant him stacks and each stack lets you unleash a massive charge attack at no stamina cost. You can use these stacks whenever, but his burst gets him a buff based on his defense and has Geo infusion, so you won't want to waste them outside of the burst state.

Eula is decently flexible, she works with basically any cryo or electro supports as well as any other characters that boost damage/shred resistance like Bennet, C6 Rosaria, or ZhongliAllegedly reliable leaks for the next banners and abyss

Welp, and here i was feeling so happy about my 5/9* on the current floor 12.
Currently 155 fates saved which should be enough to guarantee the next 5* i want, so i think i'm gonna FINALLY cave in and get Eula because i want someone covering the physical dps role. For Eula havers, how flexible is she really on practice? I kinda wanna use her with Ayaka subdps (not sorry) and my only elec characters are fish c0 and beidou c1. Can eula/ayaka/diona/fish work or is it copium? I'm passing her Diluc's tuna while holds a rainslasher/archaic i guess.
btw btw, i got a lot of spare dreambloom flowers (3+ of each), if anyone missed them or wants one just say here or the conversation thread.
