The complete lack of warning + the fact that the bundle was previously mentioned in the patchnotes to be added to the shop (allegedly supposed to cost 30 DOLLARS) makes this sound like a last minute damage control. Can you imagine if they asked 30 dollars for this? The backlash would be glorious!

It could be a last minute "shit we fucked up" thing but it could also have been a situation like the alternate outfit for barbara where it was a free item that was added as a shop item later. I'm kinda betting on that because it includes primos instead of the paid equivalents to primos, and all the other bundles in the shop have the paid equivalent. Oh i'm sure as hell this bundle will be added to the store later but there is no way it was originally planned to be free. I vividly remember the 1.6 patchnotes mentioning Barbara's outfit was going to be an event reward and added to the shop later.

The 2.1 patchnotes mention the bundle will be on the shop but nowhere it's implied to be given for free.

You're thinking of genesis crystals, it might look weird but i guess the devs didnt want players "stacking too many crystals at once" (lol). I'm sure the devs will launch more bundles next, if they give gems instead of crystal, it's cause the devs want you buy crystals separate to buy the skins. Makes sense too, battle pass never gave crystals either and Welkin's 300 seems to be a pity change to imply you should buy the starter bundle.

If you're patient enough with a fast computer, you can also relog in certain spots to farm random events for ~2k mora up to 10 times per day. There is one in liyue that is right in front o a teleport and spawns agents sometimes, useful but boring.

For the record, the best place I've found to do this is on the east side of Inazuma City. You get a quest to feed a dog that costs 1 fowl and takes a few seconds to finish. It's consistent if you stand right here:

do you level talents higher than 6? because that's when it starts to hurt. I usually stop at 80 and 6/6/6, with 89 and lvl8 depending on char.
also do the reputation stuff even when you're maxed, it's resin free mora. buying the battlepass also gives a shitload of it (plus other stuff you don't have to spend resin on and then can turn into more mora).

On my dolphin account, I usually ascend a character to lvl5 (80/90) so if I ever feel like triple-crowning them I can do that anytime. But these days I'm running out of resources too quickly (although I can argue this is because my focus is split across several characters and weapons right now).
For my f2p account, I divide my resources almost equally across 6 characters and their respective weapons since I've learned a lot from playing the game so far. I just got Bennett and bumped him up to 70/70, and slowly integrating him into my main team. It's amazing how much more carefully you take on resin spending especially when you're a lowly f2p gamer.
Anyway, I play everyday and do the weekly stuff consistently. It's just a shame I rushed my battle pass to squeeze out the last few rolls I could get on Raiden's banner, but didn't get her.

the birds are JUST a bit higher. I don't have this character but the fucking phantoms have floated out of range for characters that have similar kinds of damage things it pisses me right the fuck off.

EM on really any Anemo character enables them to do stupid levels of damage off of Swirl - my Kazuha I somehow got 3 EM Artifacts, he’s at 700+ EM and Swirls damage modifier is something like 450% cause of it. If you have literally anyone else set up an Element to Swirl into, yeah you’ll melt face like nothing.

Ideally you want Venti with full EM (very hard) and if you cant you put atk/anemo/crit or cd cause he's going to swirl a lot.

Wanderer troupe isnt really an EM set, it's a ranged charge atk set. It's great Ganyu but can work with Klee and Yanfei too since those 3 are very charge atk and melt focused.

VV (the anemo set) is argueably the best set in the game because it reduces 40% element resistance matching the swirl which is pretty massive on enemies with high resistances. There is no reason to ever not use this unless you're fighting someone who is raw immune to anemo.

So yeah, unless you want to play main dps venti sniper (maybe viable with c1?), keep the anemo set on him and he's going to hit hard with swirls and shred res all the time.

Semi unrelated but i foudn out the concert was delayed for 2 weeks and the bundle was originally supposed to be shown with it. This makes sense since it's illogical to put the bundle on patchnotes but only show it near the end of the patch. Guess mihoyo dodged a bullet there eh.

There's a LOT of china jokes in genshin It's fucking wild the CCP Beurocrats haven't gone after mihoyo yet. Mihoyo needs to haul ass outta china with all the draconian crackdown shit thats coming if it's even able to.
