The whole stabbing thing was because HI3 global got swimsuit skins where China didn't and some Chinese sperg went nuts because his waifu was being disrespected by those filthy laowai and it was all Dawei's fault. Nothing to do with relationships at all, Mihoyo just dump a whole bunch of easily deniable shipping bait in and let the spergs run wild while raking in the merch cash.

Wasn't it because one of the girls was like China's pride and it was disrespectful for her to wear a playbunny suit? Or was that another spergout?

This is just getting ridiculous atp. This should have been either a free selector (like temper thyself) or they should have cut the pity in half (instead of 90 its 45) with the caveat you can't get masterless fortuna. Expecting me to pay full price for this banner seems like some cruel april fools joke.
Sidenote, but if Nicole will even be 1% as strong as the varka copers say. Then I fully expect the hex characters to get a second set of buffs. If nicole does manage to powercreep bennet then I can actually see fischl/mona/klee/sucrose teams getting up to 70k dmg.

Or maybe they don't. People said the same about dehya and look how well that turned out...

I think it was a combination of the two. Xi cucking the chinamen out of the swimsuit models AND hoyo bringing dishonour upon great chiyna.

Literally most gacha games do this shit, WW, Snowbreak, Azur lane (surely Promilia will too), GFL 1 and 2, Endfield (not OG arknights though), Trickcal, FGO, Idoly Pride, Gakumas, Uma musume, Nikke, Blue archive etc etc.

I could count dozens more especially if EOS'ed games are allowed but you get the point, this isn't some "mihoyo only" issue, it's hard baked into the genre and honestly, kind of Otaku culture in general.

I was talking about the IRL shit in case it wasn't clear. I literally play a game famous for its ML (wuwa) and used to play multiple games (GFL2, GFL, AL) with the relationship bullshit. Hell, I got 5 rings lying around on AL, all earned F2P because I cba to hit the oath button.

And now the question should i get Klee to C4 or should i get Eula (Klee is in one of my mains that i always use and C4 sounds pretty good) and for Eula idk i just want to collect shit.

Ok, guess I was right in way. Went for the $50 pack of primogems. With what I had left should be enough for 3 tenpulls on Flins banner (Varka can wait until the rerun).

1st one: gold light... You thought it was Flins, but it was me, Mizuki. Ok, a guarantee on event banner is nice to have. Might as well continue and build up pity.
2nd tenpull: Charlotte. The last 4-star I did not have, so pretty happy with that.
3rd and last pull: And now the universe decided to compensate me for my misery in trying to get Eula, here is Flins.

Almost tempted to get some more and try for Klee. Almost.

I think another attempt was caused by a sponsored video animation of the HI3 gals in bunny suits. I'm pretty sure this happened more than once but i can't find cause all news redirect to only one now.

I really want to get albedo but the idea of losing to freaking Eula or c6 diluc and wasting my guarantee if i dont go a second pity makes me terrified. It sucks too cuase it's pretty obvious at this point that Klee and Albedo are now stuck on monstat chronicle forever but new monstaters like Durin won't be there cause he's much better.

This weapon banner is also awful. It's just standard banner feat. eula's claymore which might genuinely be the worst 5* weapon in the game.

That was a weak c4 before, it looks like they fixed it with hex but it's still not great (most c4 aren't great anyway). I would save someone new or a stronger con on someone you like. Eula has seen better days man, at this point i can't even call her a luxury pull.

I'd say only get klee c4 if she's your fave and you plan on C6 her one day, and eula if you REALLY don't care about meta or you'll probably never use her, even for exploration.

BTW the new beta has started and next character is Linnea, a lunar cristalize subdps + healer. Her skill summons a mini fat fuck porcorn that hits enemies with maracas and stronger when lunar cristals exist. With 2 nodkrai she shreds 30% geo and needless to say she enables lunar geo and has a passive to buff em scaled on her def. Her 5* bow has high crit dmg and gives 40% lunar geo + geo to her and 20% for the team. (These new weapons are busted but only work for 1 unit huh.)

She's a bow user and if she charge shoots rocks, it will summon her pet to break and eat (pick) the rocks for you. She can also capture animals like the net gadget but has weekly limit.


I guess zhongli had a good run as zibai's sustain. A good run of 2 patches.
 
You guys are so lucky. I lost my umpteenth 50/50 at 85 pulls, now I'm 70 wishes deep on Varka's banner and I still have no Varka. I will be able to pull 20 pulls worth of primos out of my ass before the banner is up, but I'm still salty that THEY NEVER LET ME WIN DEWD. THIS SHIT IS SO RIGGED.

It really is, boss (man). The only other time I've had this kind of luck was Mualani and her signature weapon. Other than that, I doubt I've pulled a single 5-star before hitting hard pity. I had to open my wallet before just to get the Staff of Fucking Homa.

Pulling the cool old guy is just my karmic repayment for years of bad gacha luck. I can't wait to see what new gameplay mechanic they implement that makes him completely irrelevant by the end of the year.

In a way I hope so, but on the other hand it just seems like Durin+Nicole would just be a wheelchair in that case instead of super flexible supports. I guess Durin-Nicole-Varka-Venti would be the optimal team, but it wants some 5 star weapons too.

I guess Varka is like Eula or Wanderer but he actually gets supports. I wish I could trade C2 Eula or C1 Wanderer for like Varka+weapon and Venti, or just more constellations on Durin or Furina.

Like a Hexeri bineffa? But then again durin is his BiS so durin would probably take up that mantle instead of bennet.
Even if this true what about the non pyro varka teams? Nicole will somehow have to have excellent buffing while also somehow not impeding on reactions by applying pyro (much like Bennett). I just don't trust hoyo to not fuck up her kit and turn her into pyro yea or something.
Still won't stop me from pulling for her tho, she's just so pretty.

Us Varka skippers continue to win just by doing nothing. I'll probably also skip Nicole if she's just a fancy Varka support. Kinda 50/50 on Linnea, I'd need to give her a go in game before I decide, but the head wings on her model are fucking goofy and I'm not a fan, either go full Xenoblade on those things or delete them lol.

Technically Columbina is her sustain if you run her with pamber (as you should) and it lets you run Gorou, but since Zibai can use HoD she's very dependent on staying at full HP and crystallize shields and pamber's healing can only do so much. Linnea lets you ditch Gorou since his rotation doesn't quite match Zibai's and it extends it by a few seconds.
Comparing Linnea and Chiori's kits is hilarious too, by the way. And they buffed Albedo only to send him to die on a scam chronicle banner right before they make him irrelevant with Linnea, instead of, you know, giving one of those old units for free? Fucking Mihoyo I swear.
