Has anyone played the Illuga World Quest Series? It was really good, the World Quests are usually where Genshin's writing is best. I really liked how they handled him, lots of people say that he should have been a 5 star.

I kind of miss Itto even though I only started playing the game last year. He's a real nigga.

The grey haired young man with the laurel crown is Phainon, the hero of the Amphoreus story arc. The pink haired girl is Cyrene, the deuteragonist of Amphoreus.

The Amphoreus story is initially about him collecting 12 orbs of power (called Core Flames) to save a world on the brink of annihilation. Most of the party dies along the way. Once he accomplishes that, we get a fakeout ending and it actually causes the apocalypse to occur causing pretty much all of humanity on that world to be wiped out. It turns out that Amphoreus is actually a computer simulation that has been cycling through different simulated worlds countless times. To prevent their simulated world from being flushed down the toilet, Phainon and Cyrene hijack control of the system and reset time back to earlier in the sim, with Phainon going back in time, carrying over the core flames he acquired. But Phainon is unable to prevent the apocalypse, so he keeps having to loop over and over 33 million times. By the end he has 402,604,032 core flames and becomes a multi galactic threat.

I found out that if you stare at a character's back for too long in Endfield they will eventually react and turn around somewhat

It's weirdly amusing. Some have quite interesting reactions. Fluorite channels her inner black girl with the finger wagging. Laevatain instantly reacts and gets super pissed

Edit: it's pvp time

Genshin is back on top. ZZZ lost money. I guess the Hu Tao/Yixuan looking girl didn't do it after all or whoever the fuck is in rotation now. Or people are saving for the Angels of delusion.

I am not shocked by Star Rail falling. This patch is dry as fuck and the story was garbage. Star Rail is weirdly allergic to events it seems.

WuWa is an interesting case. I guess people are saving for Temu Cyrene.exe

I kinda wanna know what's going on with Naruto Mobile to get this much money since IP gacha tends to do poorly

Yeesh Chaos Zero Nightmare got blasted and I don't see that other game that released late 2025, Resonance Solstice or whatever. Something about trains

Dann the persona game is not here either. Was there another controversy?

Endfield starting fucking strong. LaDS will never die as long as there's lonely, horny women.
And people have the nerve to say that male characters don't sell.

That drop for HSR is something :story:
I'm happy that Reverse is making dough. I don't think I've ever seen Limbus in the top 50, but I'm happy for it. It's a good game.

No one is playing this slogfest
I'm still keeping track due to some god tier luck keeping me in. The QoL they added is good but there's just nothing to do besides daily grind.

I wonder how HBR is doing. Relatively low numbers but from what I understood it's carried a lot by extra merchandising.

Yvonne and Wulfgard's side stories really just felt like dates with a plot. Still a good way to kill an hour or 2

It's a good thing that everything else around the game, sans its shit story, is good.

Well, the music sucks ass too but sshhhh.

Also I hear tell that the next story chapter is super ass as well. It's China with some CCP propaganda allusions - allegedly.

What is it with Chinese companies and botching their Chinese-inspired regions' story-wise? You'd think they'd nail that part.

Black Beacon ironically did it well up until after the climax as the epilogue sucked balls but that's more so because it didn't end when it should have. So I guess if you fuck your native region up, you're gonna avoid EOS.

Hell some of those ladies are married.

BuT iT's OtOmE!

No, you just gotta market it right and not pull a ZZZ.

Truly, Penacony was a massive mistake. The Dahlia retconned the revenue into a minus. Whoops!

How about Silver and Blood?

Yeeesh, that's....not good.

Uhm, that aside; @LucasSomething and @Dollar Store Sentai

We did it, boys.

Anyway, for the dumpster fires.
Chaos Zero Nightmare, a game I don't play.
1769981657320.png
Ouch.

Etheria Retard, where's your ass at?
1769981802841.png
Lmao get fucked.

So what happened with that Persona game?
1769981866748.png
Wow!!! Look at all that red!

Edit: So about that Heaven Burns Red, @wtfNeedSignUp
1769982163145.png
Huh.

I tried HBR a long time ago but it's ass. I'm surprised it's still alive, same for Magia Exedra...

How about Silver and Blood?
The downtime of the US servers won't do it any favors either. The game keeps getting raped with retarded decisions that even by going gooner, it's not saving its ass.

How many hsr characters are just this guy can blow up the galaxy versus this is a kinda special guy he likes fire and beer?

HSR has a pantheon of space gods called Aeons. Some few lucky people can obtain a blessing or fragment of an Aeon's power. These people are usually called Emanators or Lord Ravagers.

  • Jing Yuan and Feixiao are Arbiter Generals, basically Emanators of the Aeon Lan and bestowed a powerful summon. Jing Yuan can summon a Xenoblade Chronicles sized titan called the Lightning Lord, while Feixiao can summon a space wolf dragon and shoot nukes with her bow.
  • Herta (a petite witch girl) is an Emantor of the machine calculator god Nous and is thousands of years old, though we haven't seen her demonstrate her power.
  • Topaz, Aventurine, and Jade are members of the Ten Stoneharts. They have "cornerstones" or magic rocks bestowed by the Aeon Qlipoth. Aventurine threatened to blow up part of a city planet.
  • Acheron is an Emantor of IX, and counters Aventurine's attack which causes a shockwave that blows through a city.
  • Phainon's core flames are complicated because Amphoreus is a supercomputer that was gazed (blessed) by three different Aeons: Nous, Fuli, and Nanook. The supercomputer turned into an egg that is calculation simulations and hatching into an emanator/lord ravager of Nanook called Irontomb, of which Phainon was being absorbed into. A coalition of different galactic empires and a death star formed to evacuate 5 nearby star systems in 5 days, and then when Irontomb hatched it blew up the coalition fleet (everybody had to get deus ex machinaed back to life).
  • In an alternate timeline where the heroes were unable to stop Irontomb right then and there, the playable character Jingliu stole a body part of the dead swarm (zerg) aeon Tayzzyronth, used it to become a Swarm overlord, sicced the swarm on her own civilization to get enough war material, consumed Jing Yuan's lightning lord, and then went to war with Irontomb to save the rest of the universe.
  • In an alternate timeline where the heroes did not go to Amphoreus, the heroes ran into another emantor/lord ravager of Nanook, and Welt had to stop him.

So about 10 out of the 80 playable characters so far are extremely powerful.

As for average joes, they were frontloaded early into HSR's lifecycle and Mihoyo has stopped releasing them. Most of them come from the tutorial space station and the first planet of Belobog, which is a frozen over world with one surviving city state that resembles early 20th century Russia. Almost everybody here is a normal human with few to no magic powers whatsoever.
  • You have Hook is just an ordinary little girl who plays the back alleys, and in combat she has a magitek gauntlet.
  • There is Pela who is a young woman who is a tour guide for a museum, and in combat she uses a tablet to control laser drones.
  • There is Serval who runs a small clock repair shop and used to play guitar in a band.
  • There is queen Bronya who is just a young woman with a musket and a flag who cheers on the other party members.
  • Luka is just some young man with a robotic arm who participates in boxing matches.
  • Etc
The second world of Xianzhou is set on a fleet of planet sized worldships populated by three races of immortals, and the worldships crusade across the galaxy wiping out other immortal civilizations that are expanding. Almost everybody here is a youthful looking person who is actually at least decades or centuries old. A lot of people here are trained, powerful warriors. They also have a culture of space magick so even the civilians like Tingyuan who is a tour guide would be threatening to the normal Belobog humans. Yanqing and Sushang are probably the only actual teenagers here but even then they are of superhuman blood and can wield magicks and have martial techniques and would probably wipe the floor with the Belobog people.

After Xianzhou, they pretty much stopped releasing civilian characters who were mostly unrelated to the main plot. So everybody at minimum is some sort of competent, powerful fighter. The only exception is Robin who is just some space pop singer who cheers on the other party members. Even a seemingly normal guy like Gallagher the bar tender or Misha the little boy porter at a hotel turn out to be magical beings way more powerful than a normal human.

This is pretty much why I stopped giving a shit about HSR. The first two areas were pretty good because they were telling local stories, with people that you come to care about, but later on it's all galaxy spanning shit where the stakes are so abstract it's hard to care about. It's also why 4*'s are going to be super rare.

Dust of feather? More like dust of FRAUD! Cause it keeps failing me every time.

Uhm, that aside;

I'm glad the game seems to be doing fine and seemingly better on JP and globan than CN. The Eva collab wasn't as big as some fans hoped but mecarashi has an abysmal marketing, i didnt see any ads anywhere or even gacha subreddit mention it, much less gacha creators.

Oh yea, i went to see the persona 5x subreddit and found this curious gem: Apparently the SEA server is treated even worse than global and they fucked up a bundle price, but instead of letting it pass, sega decided to recall and cancel those purchases which lead people to get really damn mad at them.

1770001537492.png

They seem to be saying these numbers are fake anyway while the etheria restart sub has given up. Apparently the game still had no new content at all, it takes forever to grind and they're already adding doing a ranked reset and new element to the game.

Eos soon indeed

Gallagher is pretty normal, mainly just a bartender, in 4.x we're getting a magazine editor, 3.x was a bit weird for this, because there was no room for anyone normal in that story, it should be different with 4.x
