You're right. I forgot Feixiao needed a FUA. I thought Moze or March 7th were also choices for her?

I'm gonna see if I can get her LC, since I have a guarantee (lost Sparkle's to Welt's). I'd love to have both Black Swan and Robin, but Robin is my absolutely priority.
Yeah, Robin is probably the more economic option for F2P or low spenders unless you're heavily invested in Kafka. Having Robin means my endgame teams don't have to fight over Ruan Mei anymore.

Wuwas Rng feels extremely generous when compared to Hoyo Games.
Echos consistently get good Substats for me with minimal Rerolling.
After about 2 months of playing I have three Teams worth of Characters equipped with good Echo Sets compared to Hsr and(especially Genshin) this feels like a breeze.

I've only played a couple hours of WuWa and haven't gotten many echoes that seem incredible, but I'm just killing random world mobs still. Is there a better/more reliable source of stronger ones?

I also noticed how underwhelming most of the 4* weapons are since it seems like basically every single one is either ATK, DEF, or Energy Regen with only one or two crit weapons. It feels like they really want you to roll for weapons, unless you can get a lot of crit from echoes then it seems like it might be hard to deck out your DPS without rolling much.

Once you've unlocked 5* echoes, take all of your old echoes that aren't 5*, and you can burn them 5 at a time for a new 5*. You'll get a shit ton from that. Otherwise, doing tacet fields gives a couple.

Fuck MiHoYo. Fun fact: In Spanish, "mi hoyo" means "my hole". Cue Nia Jax here.
I wish WuWa would give me Verina someday...

I didn't know the new guy was free. I guess he's WuWa's Dr. Ratio.

Edit: Fuck WuWa. This took 3 pulls.

Yo guys, check this shit out:

I guess not many of you would be able to, so here's a brief: Genshin does a collab with russian pizza chain in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Essentially the equivalent of USs McDonalds thing, with some physical merch and a bit of variation.

The more "meh"/not fitting character designs from the initial Natlan trailer seem to be mostly absent for now in the main story, and I now understand the thing they're going for with Natlan isn't the initial claim of "nation always on fire/at war with itself" they framed it as. (though that might be what it was like after the cataclysm for a bit i dunno). The thing they seem to be going for here is literally just the plot of Bionicle. Six element based tribes with chosen heroes being tasked to fight a great evil brewing in a dreamlike place under their nation. Still disappointed it wasn't the hellish war battle royale type country it was first framed as, but I like what they're doing with it.

You can just possess random select enemy animals and zip around without needing a designated mobility character like the other countries. That's about as much of a plus as not drowning after swimming like 4 feet or so in Fontaine, but I wish they wrapped up some plotlines left on a cliffhanger in Fontaine like the fate of the robot's internal Ai in that one long world quest. There's a lot of space next to Fontaine so maybe there's gonna be a new area of it in a future update like they added a fuckload of new space to Liyue a while ago.

I've seen people badmouthing the black chief guy's design (chief for the geo village) but I honestly like it. It's not the "DEI" kinda design some people are framing it as after concord, he's dressed like pretty much everyone else from the country but has some unique colors and artifacts on him that make him look like some 70s-80s guru or musician type and also fits his calm "down to earth" personality. Makes me feel like the boycott/cancel genshin guys have changed tactics and started skinwalking the youtube ad rev grifting types that are now swarming the sweet baby situation to stir up some kind of chain reaction.

EDIT: This is what he looks like.

If you look closely at him despite having a more unique design than most NPC guys he actually uses a slightly tweaked variant of the overweight NPC model. There's a good few NPCs in Natlan like this where they're plot important named characters that actually look different compared to the standard NPCs.

Looking him up cause I forgot his name for a sec brought up some thumbnail of tiktok clickbait claiming he's the first black NPC when there's several you meet before him. Most results are either fake hype about "representation" or people claiming it's not good enough and he got done dirty.

With Genshin lore in general, especially for each nation. They are kinda vaguely described through in game text and speculation from leaks. Natlan is just general being ravaged by war, I don't think there is any saying about war between people themselves in Natlan. It just becomes different from what people expect. Only til now, they outright show the war is actually against the Abyss and pilgrimage in pyro crystals (character leveling up) is a tournament to choose appropriate warriors and "energy" for Sacred Flame.
Even before Natlan release and its teaser trailer, there this old man Adel dialogue about Natlan. He is at Bayda Harbor, Sumeru.

The whole Fontaine might have pollution problem speculation. The NPC Santon for second quote in picture.

Also how rock music is supposed to come from Fontaine by Xinyan? Basically they are just whatever description before concrete presentation in game. Liben teases Fontaine. It's just vague describe of what to come, you can't really say he's wrong.
I don't really see the point of story speculation in an on-going game. I'm unironically fine with spoiler though.

Natlan exploration is fine and quite convenient actually mostly. It's stupid that whatever obsidian ring had to be rng drop from at least precious chest type. At least, collecting artifact rewards from obsidian ring count towards map exploration and doing world quests also help you a decent portion of that.

Having set my teeth into Genshin, Honkai and WuWa, I will admit I enjoy the latter two far more. I'm a turn based JRPG sperg so naturally I'd be into it. Also I was shocked as hell when I managed to get all current banner characters in one pull. My luck is usually lousy so that was nice. I am considering if I should hold off on Wardance considering I'm still at the uh steam punk tower city story wise and Wardance just spoils everything.

A lot of people deride WuWa for being a genshin clone but I'd wager it only really applies to the gacha aspect and climbing walls to get somewhere.

Because the exploration, the aesthetics, the post apocalyptic feel, the music at times, and aspects of the combat remind me a lot more of Nier Automata. Which is probably why the combat for WuWa is far more fun to me than Genshin, since DrakenNier is one of my favorite game series.

It's way more fast paced and punishing in the way it'll fuck you up if you don't use your brain and eyes to time dodges and counters. Black Goat Scar gave me a good smacking even if I did beat him. You can button smash till your fingers break but it's a Pyrrhic victory.

It also reminds me a bit of Sekiro with the counters and the focus on breaking enemies' defenses.

Also thank God for WuWa having an actual lock on system. I enjoy Genshin but it fucking bugs me that there's no proper lock on so you're just flailing at times. It's my biggest gripe. Avoiding enemies can also be a bit clunky but that's probably because I'm getting super used to WuWa and have to detach myself from that when I play Genshin.

Same with WuWas endless dash that doesn't use stamina.

I will say that the grapple hook system is rather clunky and sometimes can be easy to miss depending on the environment. Also I like the story but this game suffers greatly from a tiny cast of characters because a lot of the characters that aren't NPCs don't show up and the rest makes me go "Who???"

Oh well it's a fresh game anyway so it's not going to have much. Hopefully expansions will make up for that. Until then, I'll keep pulling my hair until I finally manage to roll for Sephiroth-I mean Calcharo.

@Keine I rushed to get the Databank to Max Level. I didnt invest in Echos much before that.
After I got the Databank to Level 20 when you first get 5* Echos to appear from scrapping Lower Value/Rarity Echos I scrapped all the Green, Blue and Purple Echos.
As for the Weapons if you want the max DPS Potential you need to pull for the Featured Weapon Banner.
For Zezhi I didnt get her Weapon, so I got a few good Crit Echos and gave her the Crit Stat Battle Pass Weapon as she is only a Sub DPS for my Jinshi anyway.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Welcome to mobile gaming. At certain point in Genshin, you have a team comp that automatically destroys trash mobs anyway. Genshin dash has small iframes at the start if you don't know about that. Or, who cares about dashing anyway if having heals and shield - interrupt resistance. Other than that, knowing about aggressive AI, let them come to you in group.

You are already fit in with Chinese games with that long whole "essay" of literally describing iframe dodge, may or may not with "time slow downs" and any parry - block mechanic from most modern action rpg games thesedays. Play whatever you find more engaging, I prefer more vibrant fantasy vibe. It's why I'll never touch any Souls game because they are so depressing and creepy. I have bunch of other excuses of not playing Wuwa yet. Though the one upcoming character that instantly clicks my interest is Lumi, her outfit is a lot similar to one Apex character I played a lot, back when I wasn't even playing Genshin.

Anyway, enjoy these games how you want to. Also, gacha thread, it's "mandatory" or "tax" to show off winning rolls, well even bad rolls if you wanna say "fuck you devs". For example, next Genshin character banner has two 4* I want to roll (to c6, both are c0), but I want to save more rolls for future ones. One of them, I wish they had rerun her in much earlier patch.

Obviously, it can't be fun all the times, but at least record moments you like.

I know not many people play Reverse 1999, but their anniversary patch just dropped and they're giving away a 6* and 5* character. Also, I need to share this because I'll never be this lucky in any game. I managed to nab four 6* (Semmelwiess is the free char, got a Portrait [Eidolon in HSR] of her).

Pull history is in order from when I started to pull, starting from the bottom of the list and goes up. TL;DR: Three 6* in 50 pulls.

Had about 12 pulls saved for today, got dick for it. Probably because I went so hard trying to pull Windsong(P2 is where I stopped). 22 pulls and I ended up with a P1 Kanjira. Can't complain, poison meme team could use more members

I have some Kanjira portraits, but no Jessica and Sotherby.
