Hoyoverse is a company, first and foremost. Their biggest concern is money (which they're already making billions of, so I don't see them giving the average Twitter gachafag the time of day). They'll likely do the bare minimum to make sure the consoomers keep consooming, as with the brown-skinned NPCS. You'd think the capitalist-hating Twitter commies would be aware of this.

MHY might actually consider doing just that if enough of these people were smart enough to just stop playing the game if their viewpoints aren't being respected by the company. Of course if they did that, they couldn't consoom product and be a part of the community, so they have to make up excuses like "There's no ethical consumption under capitalism" and other such garbage takes. This exact scenario already played out when #boycottgenshin became #dobettermiyoho because boycotting would mean quitting the game.

It’s an enemy class. Not civilian NPCs or playable characters, who we will also see in the desert. Enemy class. Nowhere does it imply that every person from the desert is a bandit.

I love the fucking "I'm from an ethnic group that lives in the sahara". Implying that the poster doesnt' live int he sahara but their ancestors did so they know everything there is about living in the sahara. Bandits, thugs, and criminals have been a thing throughout history in every part of the fucking world and arent' a fucking racist stereotype of peeohseas. There's literally a fucking freelance bandit guild as a fucking common enemy in genshin impact called "the treasure hoarders" that spans pretty much every fucking country. Why in the fuck is it suddenly now a bad and inaccurate and racist thing you literally had pretty much ALL of genshin's existence to be offended by the thing but only choose now once the new reigon actualy has tanned NPCs like you claimed it wouldn't because mihoyo is supposedly 100% racist.

I gotta be real, I’m generally mixed on this skin color thing. Although I do personally understand and empathize with those who want to see more tan and dark skin characters get rep, genshin twit are legit blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Even when we have two leaked tanned PCs, several tanned npcs, even tanned enemies….NAH, where’s my niggas and shit? Also mihoeyo racist cuz [insert petty reasons here].

You would assume these people would move on and play a game which stars dark skin characters but half these fuckers suffer a Stockholm syndrome worse than the namesake.

Mainland Chinese people legitimately hate black people, like more than an 19th century white people did. Not even on a subhuman level, more like on a work animal level.

I’ve seen a few chinese mmos where the only POC are labeled under the “beast” category of enemy.💀
