Anyways, back on topic about the thread, the Genshin Impact fandom is literally full of who-cares who screech about the stupidest shit imaginable. There's lots of juicy shit in the creator side of things if you look, though - there's been some big blow-ups about Tectone and Mtashed specifically, if anyone cares to do digging. Mtashed did this big video about not wanting to support gambling addictions and then immediately went back on it, while Tectone is a massive whale who gets into spitting matches pretty regularly.

there's already been plenty of meltdowns over how it's playstation exclusive, which is odd because it's not like some super cracked item that'll net you two trillion damage per hit. it's not even a nice cosmetic item to have because it looks like shit and out of place compared to the other weapons.

You'd be surprised, there is quite a few whales out there that have a pretty good job, I've seen some whales that work in a bank, are software engineers, etc. The type of whale I've seen more though is rich kids or kids that get a fuck ton of money through inheritance. One guy I know of is from some third world country, got sent to college in Canada, was given a massive trust fund, and he spends it all on gacha. Another guy is 18, in college paid for by his parents, has an apartment and car all paid for by said parents, and has over 100k USD from inheritance. What does he spend with all that money? Gacha. That guy is the stereotypical autist you'd see in those Twitter screencaps, just a massive weeb coomer who bitches about the game but drops hundreds on every banner. But most whales are what the post above has stated, retards who don't have many expenses to pay for so they spend it on gacha.

I'm a big advocate of picking a trustee you trust and only releasing living expenses until the beneficiary is 30. There was one kid from Saudi Arabia who was getting $60k a month while living in a dorm; he couldn't spend it fast enough. At that time, Poker was big, so he ended up gambling massive sums on online poker.

Remember what I said before about Genshin being the Fortnite but for weebs, this is slowly becoming just that with a few more collabs. Also, collabs are dumb and incentivize FOMO.
