Honestly, I have no clue how the fandom can tell which characters are seriously considered brownies or niggettes or Injuns because they all look the same aside from minor hair/eye and skin colour changes. And this is really the hill these people want to die on.

one of the biggest issue with woketards is they don't just want "representation" or "equity", they are so smoothbrained shit like that HAS to be shoved so hard in their face they can't miss it, which makes it way more grating for everyone else. I'm talking on the the level of a character straight up looking into the camera and saying "I'm BLACK btw!". you could get see the same thing with nagatoro a while back.

worth mentioning that if you play through mondstadt and liyue you're playing content that's 2 years old at this point (and given development etc you can probably add 1-2 years more).

inazuma has a different progression and pacing, events also changed a lot in that whaling is much less focused on - not that it was ever required; the best rewards (like primos and crowns) were always the easiest and first you could get (compared to some other gatchas where you need the latest powercreeped gatcha char to even have a shot at the good rewards). the current reward for the highest tier to beat is... 4 weapon exp crystals. which is basically free too collect on the map.

the only thing mihoyo requires from you sometimes (like last event) is having a big enough roster of leveled and geared chars that you can put around 8-9 chars on the field, but even then you get supplied some trial characters just in case (which if you look at their gear means you can easily use purple artifacts like exile for your supports etc., you don't even need to get lucky with artifact RNG, just level that shit to 80 and 9/9/9).

and the current big event hardly has any combat at all, its basically 99% exploration and puzzles, which seem to filter quite a few people, speaking of the fandom.

lmao at dehya being the less liked character in the chinese poll. twitter screams for dark skinned characters? china at the 99% will not like them. so, their complains are probably null.

I'm not a fan of most of the Genshin ships because huge part of them make no fucking sense and when you ask people why it's even a thing they say ''Well, it has a potential to...'' I don't careeeeee. I need canon interaction. It's even funnier when ships where characters literally don't know about each other have less hate just because they are gay in comparison to straigh ships.

While i'm not that sure about Xinyan, i'm pretty sure Kaeya is not black. He's from khaenri'ah, which i think it's based on Atlantis.

His skin color is more close to of a indian person rather than a black one. The reason the genshin fandom seems to think he's black is because this fanbase is full of 14 year old american girls who actually never saw a black person before, and they seem to think that every skin color that is under white by like, 1 hue, is black.

Not to sound woke, but it mainly due to differing beauty standards. Darker skin is often associated with poor working class folk whereas lighter skin is associated with royalty and wealthy people. Why simp for the literal who when you can simp for the fair skinned rich lady? That isn't to say there's some Chinese folk out there into darker skinned fellas but I'm just throwing my two cents here.
