I wonder which wrestler has the most complicated fanny pack.

Stone Cold carried a clutch bag instead, but he said all the guys in the 80s and early 90s when he was getting started had huge ones.

yeah, from what I've heard fanny packs have been a staple of wrasslin backstage fashion for years, holds what you would normally keep in pockets if you didn't wear tights and still has plenty of room left for any "medicine" you take

Fanny Packs, Zubaz, Ribera Jackets. I fucking envy wrestlers for being able to dress like that and not take shit.
I think that is why they dress like that in a way. If you notice, plenty of bad asses will dress in ways that would make a complete foof look like even more of a foof. I think they sort of do it to say "wtf do you have to say?"

Mike Awesome had a mullet into the new millennium. But the only ones who mocked him where the fools in WCW. No one else dared

I torrented the complete season of Lucha Underground a week ago and have been slowly (but enjoyably) working my way through it. I just now finished the ninth episode, Aztec Warfare, and I don't know if I've seen a better hour of pro wrestling this year. Really great stuff.

If y'all haven't checked out Lucha Underground, I recommend it highly. Took me a few episodes to get into it, but it's a killer show. Definitely rewards sticking with it.

Just wait until you get to Grave consequences

Yeah, it takes a few episodes to really build up steam, but LU's better than any show featuring Ezekiel Jackson has any right to be.

If you haven't been spoiled on stuff yet try to avoid it. When shit goes wtf it's a lot better as a surprise.

You peeps caught any MOTY's yet? I caught one last weekend.

The setting: All Japan's August 29 show in Koarkuen.
The match: Go Shiozaki and Kento Miyahara defend the world tag titles against Jun Akiyama and Takao Omori.

This match was damn near perfection. So fucking good. Balls to the wall with greatness and Akiyama being just perfected. One of the best of all time right there achieving godhood.

Anyone feel interested in watching lemme know.

Only in wrestling could there be a match where the ownership of two "boys" is on the line.

And I love it. Looking forward to the ROH PPV tonight.

So they've raised the bar from Rey vs Eddie for the Dominic World Championship?
Yup. ROH Wrestler Dalton Castle has this flamboyant "party peacock" gimmick which includes two "boys" as his valets, dressed like Egyptians and walking out with peacock feather fans and such. It's a great act. Silas Young who calls himself "Wrestling's last real man" who does a grumpy man's man gimmick took offense to all this and they have been feuding for a while.

Tonight they settle it on PPV. If Silas wins, he gets the boys and says he is going to make men out of them. If Dalton wins, Silas becomes one of the boys.

Oh, so it's about buttsex.
I thought it was child custody.

That's okay too.

Also somebody on /wooo/ translated LA Park's promo:

To each and everyone of you, i want to thank you for your precense, nevermind the promotors from San Juan Pantitlan, and without caring about the promotors from the World Council (CMLL), you guys that pay for a ticket, you shouldnt think about and insult i said to you, you guys are a top priority, and if they (cmll) really cared about you guys, they wouldve let RUSH come here and stop with all their bullshit.

And you guys scream it, before they cut my mic off (crowd screams GO FUCK YOUR MOTHER). FUCK YEAH.

CMLL's big show wasn't bad despite the lack of fucking mothers.

The funny part is that from what I've heard you ippv-ed it legit by getting a link to an unsecured youtube live feed, and they just figured nobody would share the link online.

On the semi main event of the ROH PPV right now. Good show through and through. Very enjoyable simple fun wrestling. Also featured the return of the All Night Express which got a big pop.

Also Silas won the ownership of the boys. Now the glorious twitter banter about turning them from #BoysIIMen has begun. Judging by the tv spoilers it'll be entertaining.

Believers, are you ready? #LuchaUnderground season 2 is coming in 2016!

Glad to see LU is getting a Season 2.

In other, more bummed out news, it's looking like Sting suffered a bad injury at Night of Champions. In fact, it's so bad, doctors fear that he's pretty much done as a wrestler.
