The fact that Drago is 38, has wrestled for ages and still is this good is mind boggling. Bet he and R-Truth have a conspiracy regarding the fountain of youth.

All Japan's Lucha world cup team is lolwut. But they are running a show during the cup so I understand them keeping all their big names back in Japan.

Bray Wyatt's theme is fucking awesome.

That is all.

GFW (Jeff Jarrett's new company) just had the worst press conference of all time.

3 names announced:
PJ Black (Justin Gabriel)
Davey Boy Smith Jr
Chael Sonnen (announcer)

The rest of the names that they claimed to have revealed were apparently so unimportant the press didn't report them.

Lance Hoyt, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are also there.

and Chris Masters. They forgot to announce half the roster at the actual presser.

Not to mention that only like 4 of these guys are there full time.
Gallows & Anderson: Full Time in New Japan.
DBSjr & Hoyt: Full time in New Japan and NOAH
Sanada: Wrestle-1
Moose: ROH.

I'm surprised GFW has anybody full time since it's supposed to be the league of random companies.

I wonder how long Konnan will keep AAA working with them as LU rises and AAA keeps branching out to the international market in its own right.

Probably until Russo does something racist. Russo seems to think he is going to be working with Jarrett again

So, apparently Bob Backlund showed up at Verne Gagne's funeral and cut a heel promo....

Why don't we have someone following Bob around? He seems like prime lolcow material.
Mick Foley said of BB:

I remember a few years ago, there was a video on Youtube of BB wandering around a theme park (I *think* it was Disney), and these college age guys asked him for his autograph, and apparently, he'd only give them his autograph if they could name the Vice-Presidents in order.

Just finished the ESPN special on NXT. Real good. I've got a lot more respect for Adam Rose now. He has won me over. Genuine good guy

Woah, he upped it to Veeps now? Nightmare mode.

So, anyone hear about WWE doing a OWen Hart documentary with the entire Hart family's blessing? Turns out Martha Hart (his wife) was not in on this.

Classy WWE keeps on being classy

Martha is never included in anything, as far as I know? The last I bothered clicking through any of that drama was when the Hart and Soul Anthology came out.

Last I had heard, supposedly Martha had finally given her blessing, but with the caveat that she never appear in any stuff about Owen. I guess she changed her mind?

Never heard that. All I've heard is that she still blames the WWE for Owen's death (and rightfully so) and doesn't want his name associated with the company at all.

I tend to take news on wrestling sites with a grain of salt, but I had recalled on 411mania (at least I think it was them), that Martha and the WWE had reached some kind of settlement regarding Owen's death and the use of his name, and Martha basically said "You know what? Fine, you can use his name, but I will *not* do any interviews or endorse you positively".

you take dirtsheets with a grain of salt but trust 411mania?

Yesterday WrestlingDVDNews.compublished the following article, linked to below, with the announcement that an Owen Hart DVD is in the works for this year:

WWE Planning Owen Hart DVD & Blu-Ray Release With Documentary

We posted this news update having seen the Owen Hart DVD/Blu-ray project listed on official 2015 WWE Home Video schedules over the past few months – with a documentary stated as its main feature.

In an effort to pay tribute to the late Owen Hart, his life and his legacy in wrestling, the decision was made to share this news with our readers yesterday, on what would have been Owen Hart’s 50th birthday.

However, having also heard in recent months that the DVD had backing from Owen Hart’s “family”, in the same aforementioned article we made a factual error in stating that the project had the “full backing and support” of Martha Hart, widow of Owen.

Martha has since been in touch with WrestlingDVDNews.com, stating categorically that she does NOT support nor endorse the WWE DVD and NEVER will.

We are issuing this statement to publicly apologize to Martha for the undue stress yesterday’s factual error has caused her and her two children, Oje and Athena. We are also doing so in order to retract our previous statement.

The original article was updated to reflect this immediately upon hearing Martha’s response.

We implore all other wrestling media outlets who picked up on the story to kindly update their coverage also and provide an update which states that neither Martha Hart nor her children are backing the WWE project.

The Owen Hart DVD/Blu-ray is listed on schedules as we’ve reported, and there may be members of the Hart family who do support the project, hence from where the report and speculation originated, however Martha Hart and her children are NOT included in ANY of that endorsement.

Once again, from all of us here at WrestlingDVDNews.com, we offer our sincerest apologies to Martha Hart and her two children, Oje and Athena, for the factual error of yesterday.

Ms. Hart has provided us with this statement:

“My children and I were unaware of this project until May 7, when it was brought to our attention by a friend who had read about it online. Contrary to your report, we do not back or support it in any way, nor has WWE requested our backing or support. From what little we know of the project, it seems to be another attempt to exploit Owen’s memory, and his tragic death, for commercial gain. We have resisted that kind of initiative for almost 16 years. If WWE really wanted to honor Owen’s legacy, it would just let him rest in peace.”
