If any one has not watched NXT Unstoppable I implore you to at least watch the NXT Women's Title match. It has been the best match of the year so far. It was absolutely brutal and had a ton of in ring psychology, and both Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch received a standing ovation. 5 stars all the way

Apparently the show gets better ratings than anything else on the channel but, for some reasons, advertisers aren't keen on a program called "TNA Wrestling" and won't even take ad slots there as make-good spots. Who'd have thought the name would make them seem almost as trashy as their angles do?
Advertisers don't flock to wrestling in general. When you see the aspies losing their shit about TNA being cancelled, you can't blame them.

Straight up it's been a long time coming. Sure the TV has been better lately but years of poor TV, poor stories and poor decisions have hurt the company irreparably. With their brand being so damaged should just let the thing die.

It's actually not very surprising at all that TNA is getting cancelled later this year.

here is a long sperg rant about tna

This is just my opinion but if TNA would have kept the course they were going before 2010 they would have still been financially stable to this day. Pre-2010 TNA had its own identity, it's own homegrown stars, its own matches, even its own six sided ring. It had credibility with the indie scene but was also viable as a mainstream product. Then Dixie wrangled control from Jeff Jarrett at some point and decided it would be a good idea to directly challenge WWE and become WCW 2.0. I remember watching the first TNA of 2010 and you could tell they were spending tons of money on talent. Flair, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan. They began to put their established talent to the wayside in favor of old wrestlers and dumped a ton of money into Hogan and Flair who essentially were just glorified mouth pieces.

They wanted to be WCW so badly and ironically they did become the worst of what WCW was. Soon came Hall, Nash, Sean Waltman and a chorus of washed up stars who were financially draining the company while the workhorses and young stars were treated as afterthoughts. Was it any surprise to anyone in TNA that the basically paid for Razor Ramon to get drunk and no show and for KevinNash to blow his quad? If you look back TNA had a ton of talent that they disposed of in favor of relics from the late 90s. The story lines became nothing but endless evil faction story lines (Immortal, the Band, Main Event Mafia, Fourtune, etc) which was nothing but a endless cluster fuck of dirty finishes, pointless run ins, confusing heel/face turns and a overall a unsatisfying product.

Not only did they absolutely botch managing their talent but they made the worst possible choices for creative writers. Russo, Bischoff, Bruce Prichard and Hulk Hogan are a recipe for disaster. I think it is clear that Dixie Carter was the one making these decisions. I also think it is obvious Dixie has no knowledge of wrestling except for probably a handful of nwo era WCW episodes and a few viewings of Attitude era crap. She had no idea how badly she was poisoning her company with these decisions of management. To this day I have no idea why they thought it would be a good idea to incorporate Hulk Hogans WWE HALL OF FAME RING into a TNA storyline. Absolutely mind boggling how inept they were by essentially advertising their main competitor and simultaneously conceding that the TNA brand was inferior than the WWE brand.

They have completely botched relationships very notable performers such as CM Punk, the Young Bucks, Caprice Coleman, Roderick Strong, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Homicide, The Brisco Brothers, Hernandez, Seth Rollins, Christopher Daniels, Kazariam, Matt Morgan, Joey Ryan, and many more credible talent that has found success and a strong fan base elsewhere. There is literally no excuse for how awful TNA has been at utilizing the opportunity for building stars who can draw.

I think this is it for TNA. They had some really great moments but thanks to the complete incompetence and negligence of Dixie Carter a lot of talented individuals are going to be without work.

The thing is they were never really good at creative. What I mean is they had months of being good but it would quickly go downhill. Far downhill and they would never hit that level again. Add poor business decisions (see airing on Monday, bringing in Jersey Shore cast members) and it is astounding that they have lasted this long period.

Also it in the topic of TNA wanting to emulate WWE so badly they absolutely fail at emulating the one thing that WWE has made a significant stride in, and that is the Wellness Policy. You can say what you want about how WWE has allegedly has favoritism in its process but overall I think it has done wonders for drug and steroid abuse in the industry and it will really clamp down on the tragedies that have happened in the past. TNA on the other hand was notorious for being the place to go if you want to party hard apparently because they have no qualms about it. Who can forget the infamous Jeff Hardy and Sting incident. That should have been Hardy getting shit canned, but nope. A half assed apology to the fans and a brief suspension and Hardy was back in the ring main eventing. TNA has become such a embarrassment.

I think this is a good thing for the other feds. TNA has a considerable amount of utilized talent. Now they can focus their time and energy in better booked companies like Lucha Underground, ROH, hell even Juggalo Championship Wrestling..

I think it is the end of the road for some of the TNA talent.

WWE will probably sign Kurt Angle, The Dudleyz, Mickie James and the Hardy Boys to some sort of legends contract.

Tigre Uno and TJ Perkins seem like shoo ins for Lucha Underground, maybe NXT.

Bobby Roode, James Storm, Drew Galloway, Austin Aries, Kenny King, and Eddie Edwards could all do stints in RoH NJPW or PWG.

Jeff Jarrett is already picking up some scraps.

It's guys like MVP, Ken Anderson, Magnus, Abyss. They are all mid thirties to early 40s, and I feel like they will want a higher asking prices but won't find any viable bidders, so they will either bank on appearances at really small Feds or just retire.

It's easy to pick on JCW because lolICP, but I've been very satisfied with the JCW shows I've seen. I wonder if they could put on a good weekly show.

At this point, TNA is the wrestling version of a lolcow. There a reason why the term "loltna" exist.

Also there a rumor going around that Dixie Carter accidentally sent a email to destination American president calling the people at DA "dummies".

Lol yes. Off the top of my head here is some lulz that TNA has done

- signed Hogan and Flair to huge deals, thus alienating the rest of the roster
-endless rehash story lines of evil faction groups
-"is that *insert washed up wwe wrestler with lulzy generic name* in the impact zone? What is he doing here??"
-Taryn Terrell spotted working at Sunglasses Hut in a mall in Tampa and quoted as saying "TNA isn't paying the bills"
- The Hulk Hogan sex tape and consequential drama with Bubba the Love Sponge "I ate so much, I am a pig." Lol
-Having Abyss and Hogan feud over a WWE hall of fame ring
-Kurt Angle having more DWIs than successful title defenses
-retconning the name "Suicide" to "Manik" because you know, suicide is a horrible thing
-Not paying talent and production crew for monthes
- having 50 people show up for a house show that was projected to have 2000
-making Orlando Jordan act like a massive faggot because he is bisexual, in a attempt to be edgy and newsworthy, totally fails
-choosing the unpopular botch fest Magno over heavy fan favorite Scrap Iron Adam Pearce in their Gut Check segment
-Scott Steiner calling Team 3D a "couple of faaaat asses" in a promo
-Jeff Hardy showing up to a pay per view completely blown out of his mind, Sting forcing a scorpion death drop and pinning him seconds into the match. Profuse apologies and offering refunds, Sting quoted as saying "most embarrassing moment in my career".
-Every single cringe segment involving Dixie Carter and her "acting"
-Advertising Dixie Carter getting power bombed through a table before getting power bombed through a table.
- Madison Rayne runs over Mickie James with a motorcycle. TNA sells her injury as near fatal. James shows up the following week to drop a promo as if nothing ever happened.
-Eric Young vs Scott Baio
-Karen Angle cheating on Kurt Angle with Jeff Jarrett. Then deciding to write it as an angle. Then deciding to actually put Kurt and Karen's children in the story line.
-Jeff Jarrett promoting the Mexican Heavyweight title in TNA....by wearing a poncho and a sombrero and acting incredibly racist.
-Stings bad knees vs Hogans bad back in a arthritis death match
-Stone Cold Shark Boy being the only thing to get a pop

There is a ton more but this is what I can think of off the top of my head

To be fair, Vince Mcmahon did this with his affair.

Also isn't everyone glad Samoa Joe is in NXT now?
