Some Kairi news for @Lip Glossary
Kairi's gym in Japan updated its website for the first time since August 2023 (around the time she re-signed with WWE). It's now advertising hiring more staff. It never closed but with Kairi in America she wasn't keeping a close eye on it. I don't think it's a coincidence. Seems to me she's staying in Japan.
Not sure what the grind is like in Japanese promotions, but this sounds like it’s not like the WWE circuit.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=RB0v4aKhmVQAt the 20 minute mark, Kana (Asuka) gets headbutted so hard she gets a skull fracture and immediately loses consciousness.
Her male opponent first pushes the ref out of the way so he can beat her some more with real punches, then throws her partner then his own partner out of the ring and proceeds to pick up her unconscious body and you can see the moment where he hits her until she regains consciousness.
She tanks about four or five hard punches because she's literally not awake. He actually hit her so many times that it brought her back to fucking life.
This match made her a legend, and the best part about it was she is the one who set up the match and told Suzuki not to hold back.

That match made her a real badass. Not a faux badass like Becky Lynch or Rhea Ripley. A legit badass. I swear whoever ends up wifeing her up will be one lucky bastard. Especially when you add in her looks and her love of gaming.

AEW are suing Triller for $5 million that they are owed from PPV buys/streaming subs. Triller is going out of business so i would imagine AEW aren't going to see a dime of this money. They are also alledging that Triller used the owed money to try to fund other non-AEW events rather than settling their debt.

It explains why AEWs own streaming service just sort of appeared out of the blue.

Depends on the promotion, but her most likely destinations, Marigold or Stardom, run a regular schedule of a few shows per week with a break every now and then. During Kairi's second run in Japan in 2022-23 she was a part timer only wrestling the bigger shows. A third run would most likely be on that type of schedule.

Asuka's been married for a very long time, not exactly sure when but it might have been even before she got into wrestling. She's just very private about her personal life. She hasn't even publicly acknowledged having a kid (who at this point is at least 19 years old) even though it's basically an open secret.

That's why when people like AJ Lee claim to be your favourite wrestler's wrestler or divas pretend like they are the reason we have women's wrestling now, I laugh my ass off.
Asuka is your favourite wrestler's wrestler, hands down. People like her, Io, Kairi, Meiko, Ayako Hamada, Nanae and so many others were grinding in Japan and Mexico in the early 2000s when bitches in WWE we're having bra and panties matches and AJ was skipping like a mongoloid.
I'm still of the opinion that the saddest "What if" that ever happened to female wrestling was what if Io's sister Mio didn't get hurt and decide to have a family. She could have came to WWE with Asuka and TORE THE FUCKING HOUSE DOWN on a weekly basis.
Imagine having a busted neck and still wrestling 120 matches your retirement year. She even wrestles sporadically, and if Mio ever announced a match with her sister, Kairi or Asuka, I'm on the next flight to Japan to see that shit live.

Let's be honest here they say that it's to protect their private lives, but I think we all know that yellow fever still sells with us White boys.
I had such a crush on Mio when I was younger
Her and Asuka are smoke shows.
Check this out, from an old Japanese wrestling magazine.
No nudity but it's a little bit risque so I'm going to spoiler tag it to be safe.

Asuka and Mio :mutted:

Damn. Learn something new everyday. Point still stands: lucky bastard.

They need to cool him for a bit.
He needs to either wrestle more, or do the fucking corny vaudeville routine much less. When he was in the indies pre-AEW he was great.
I don't know if it's because of all of his injuries or just laziness but he seems content to coast off of being a fucking comedy act who barely wrestles. This version of him sucks.
It's like Orange Cassidy. Cassidy was the fucking shit back in the day, and then one day he put his hands in his pockets and started doing little shin kicks. It got over sure, but just because something is over doesn't mean it doesn't fucking suck balls.
I mean the spice girls sold 60 million records, they were over but that doesn't mean their music didn't suck.
Danhausen is quickly becoming the spice girls of wrestling.

seriously this
I forget if we get updates from the Jewish Wife demos but I can def vouch the NYPR Wife demographic is getting sick of Danhausen being pushed so hardhausen
she only just watches random shit on youtube so literally all she sees is what Danhausen is up to but yeah I got big points with her buying her Danhausen shit for a valentines day so if SHE is saying "okay we've had enough Danhausen doing Danhausen things" it's probably yeah

So pretty much to be expected: WWE runs him in the fucking ground, resentment builds from the fans, and he's quietly relegated into the background and then released.

Giving Danhausen a PLE match that went 10+ minutes on a show with only 5 matches is ridiculous. Especially when the payoff to the mystery partner tease is just another midget. If there were 5 or 6 real matches on the card in addition to that, then whatever it's not that big of a deal. I still think Danhausen is funny but we don't need to see him having multiple segments on SmackDown every week and taking up space on a PLE.

Or maybe 5 to 6 midgets?

tbh they're mostly getting what to do with him, it's just they're doing TOO much with him
it's sort of the opposite of the traditional indies superdarling->WWE

I was watching backlash with my girlfriend and stepmom and they both used to love Danhausen, but Saturday they were both saying "This is 15 minutes they could have added to the Iyo vs Asuka match" and they were right, especially if the rumours are true and that was Asuka's last match.
I'm all for comedy and I'm all for good wrestling and Danhausen can do both, but I don't need constant childish segments with miniature zambonis and midgets in a cloning machine. That's just retarded.
Watching Raw now and I can't believe this is the THIRD week in a row Joe Hendry is singing a faggoty song about firing Logan Paul mere weeks after so many talents were actually fired. At this point WWE is openly telling us to go fuck ourselves.
I don't think I hate anyone more than Joe Hendry in WWE right now. I would let that fucking BUM Sami Zayn be the undisputed champion for longer than Roman Reigns was if they fired that Scottish faggot and banned him from wrestling forever.

Didn't they do the same with Joe Hendry?
that seems plausible but tbh I've only caught a handful of his instances post 2017 or so
not to be a "I was into him before" prick but this is literally about where I got on the Joe Hendry train so I was tired and off well before Impact and WWE were working together
still marked the fuck out when I found out that he got a mania moment
