I really don’t particularly understand the excessive bitching about Ticket Prices, Zoomers are as terminally online as the neckbeard millennials who pay way too much attention to shit like really do you think your average adult capable of making a wise financial decision is buying front row seats to wrestlemania ? no they obviously have fuck you money, and I do agree that Punk isn’t a draw like he used to be, it’s clear as day to me he’s dropping the belt at Mania

Because wrestling went from something your hick friends bought tickets for every week to... this.

This whole thing started with genuinely talented, charismatic, strong, local guys effectively pretending to brutalize each other. Now you have people paying an entire car loan to watch CM Punk deliver his toothless mic manifesto. You look at the front row of these events (because there's no one in the back rows at all) and see barely-sapient blobs, chunko pop collectors, people who know everything about Rick and Morty lore, Redditors.

It just sucks. Wrestling used to be trashy entertainment for people who would legitimately attack the heel if given the opportunity. Because of this everyone involved in wrestling had to be able to chew gravel, whether they were big performers or just helping with production. I'm not sure where the gatekeeping failed but I'm not surprised the most edgy thing to go on at these events is "fuck ICE" chants from Disney Adult-looking fatasses.

All of this is going to end with the whales I'm talking about rolling their eyes and continuing to steer the ship into an iceberg.

It's because they don't understand supply and demand. As long as people are willing to pay for those seats the prices aren't going down.

Lio Rush is a fucking idiot. He got chances with both WWE and NJPW was by all accounts an asshole in both companies.

AEW signed him and he has bounced between gimmicks/tag teams and this stupid shit is his latest thing. Talented guy in-ring but seems to be living in his own world as regards his place in the business.
