If the bleed was small enough it could be reabsorbed on its own, but given his presentation right after injury (seizure, posturing, etc...) there is an extremely good chance he needed a burr hole craniostomy.

I think this is exactly what happened if you look at his picture here. You can see his hair is very obviously asymmetric, when it was symmetric during the show, and you can clearly see the bald spot they had to shave to do the craniostomy. A craniostomy means they drill right through your skull, and the tough membrane that surrounds it so they can remove the blood that is progressively building up under that membrane inside his head and would eventually kill him.

I'm kind of surprised he didn't mention that he actually needed interventional brain surgery to save his life, and his life was very much in danger, since an untreated, progressive subdural hematoma is nearly universally fatal. I have a feeling he was told or is being coerced to keep the extent of his medical intervention under wraps so people don't freak out at the wrestling morons more than they have. I disagree with this stance, he should shame them for pushing him out of the way while he bleed into his brain and he required someone to burr a hole in his skull and evacuate the blood trapped in it using interventional brain surgery otherwise he was going to die. That seems like something of which people should be made aware.
I'm no medical professional, but wouldn't a hole drilled through your scalp into your braincase (a very sensitive area which is extremely difficult to treat infections in) be covered by SOMETHING less than 24 hours after they opened it? A dressing or a bandaid or SOMETHING!

It would likey be a burr hole surgery.
It is more important to keep it dry, but air it out after surgery, than to completely cover it up. There is probably a soft dressing (more like a pad) that gets changed every day or so than multiple layers of bandaging around the head.

I could see them eventually doing a David Finlay vs. Moxley feud, resulting in the Death Riders finally betraying Moxley and joining the Dogs in a new super stable.

I’d like to imagine that a lot of the talent realizes that Tony is a money mark and are just taking him for everything they can get while the money’s there, and in a few cases that may be true, but then I remember that most Wrestlers would be Lolcow Adjacent, if not full blown Lolcows, if they didn’t have Wrestling.

In which case the most likely inevitable sperg outs over pay will still be funny.
Doesn't Tony's Dad have an infinite* money cheat with the car patent thing he build most of his fortune around? Don't you think the old fuck will cut him off if it ever seems like he's wasting money they don't have yet?

Yeah, I think I remember hearing that the Khan empire was worth 4 to 5 times what WWE was when AEW started. That was before the TKO deal so I don't know what the situation is now.

It's a similar situation with NJPW/Stardom. The parent company is much bigger than WWE as a standalone entity. At the end of the day it all depends on the higher ups not deciding to cut costs as to wether any of these promotions can keep outbidding WWE for talent.

A recent example is David Finlay. WWE offered him the basic NXT starter contract which is rumored to be around 70k a year but TK backed up the Brinks truck and blew their offer out of the water because he wanted to have Bullet Club guys in AEW.

whamen will always get paid less because of less screen time, maybe if theres a woman-only brand like stardom then maybe they can try to squeeze more money, until then they only get as much payment as they bring in, simple as.

Rey De Reyes was good. Few takeaways...

>Women's match was decent. Bayley is one of the few women's wrestlers I'll watch if she's on.
>New AAA Mega Championship belt looks great. The original one looked like someone pounded out an oxidized copper penny onto leather.
>Rey De Reyes finals was good. Escobar clearly got his bell rung at some point and was out on his feet the entire match.
>Americano feud is entertaining.
>Dominik/Vikingo was good. I was surprised they let Dom retain. Wasn't he supposed to be hurt or is that Meltzerslop?

the Randy heel turn was Kino, ngl i do kind of hope from a personal standpoint Cody turns heel at some point during this third reign but it was 10/10 segment still excited more for Reigns and Punk though
They really need to start pushing how much of a corporate stooge Cody has become and just have him get heel heat from that.

If Randy is supposed to be the heel, it's not working with the crowd.

After collecting a bunch of Who Cares? belts, Mercedes wants Equal Pay for women:

Oh great, this topic again in wrestling form. First off I'm pretty sure most women do make more money than men, at least on the indies level. Between doing onlyfans, selling more merch aka ring worn gear, or even back in the day with the whole "custom matches" bullshit where they get paid extra to wear skimpier outfits and moan more while they wrestle in a ring set up in someone's apartment or a shed. Secondly just like every fucking time this topic comes up, if women want to actually do the same work as men and have the same risks then they can get the same money, or in the case of wrestling if they can prove that they draw more of an audience or increase the ratings then they can talk. Lastly remember when Ryback basically got blacklisted and laughed out of the business for saying all wrestlers should be paid the same? Of course Mercedes won't get the same treatment because she framed it as women getting paid equal so it'll be all the simps yelling SLAY QUEEN! while Ryback eats chips in some random zoom meeting.
