use of shitty AI songs (Hello David Flair!)

God I hated that shit so much and would just skip forward. I like WB and I don't usually turn on youtubers the moment they do something I don't like, but I do hate how so many start to "express" themselves in the most annoying ways the bigger audience they garner and start to inject their work with shitty gags or unnecessary commentary (hi dreading. 👋). I do still like WB though and I'll continue watching his content, because outside of RTW (which wasn't bad by any means), his content is top quality imo. Hopefully he has some "Creating A Wrestler" videos in the works because there's some serious untapped potential there and it's a great series so far.

Speaking of WB’s favorites and such:

- Steve Blackman was/is a bad motherfucker, but WB trying to put him over like he was an unsung God of the era is laughable. The guy couldn’t cut a promo to save his life and his backstage time was a one trick pony being the straight man next to goofier talent.

- Praising Alex Wright while bashing Disco Inferno for the very same things reeks of ulterior motives of dislike.

- Laugh at David Flair all he wants, the dude is the only Flair who can keep a marriage and keep faithfulness, and also clap a young Stacy Kiebler’s cheeks before anyone else. The guy won at life.

- The Glacier bashing went too far. It’s not like Ray Lloyd was blackmailing Bischoff for TV time and creative control.

- I did like him giving peeps like the Natural Born Thrillers their props for being littered with potential WCW never utilized by giving them a proper faction storyline nor individual storylines. WCW had all the young talent in the world and they deserved every failure they got for depending on the nWo over and over for years.

- I don’t think he expressed how much he hates bikers and bar dweller gimmicks enough. I kinda think the 275637999 rantings weren’t enough.

- Trying to act so above the raunchiness of the AE is ridiculous when it’s clearly his favorite era. Why Youtubers try to pretend to be puritans who never oogled at some big tits and laughed when the nigger word was yelled I’ll never get.

Most AEW fans don't fall into either of those categories. They're dirty woke retards. Normies watch WWE. The tranny loving, BLM virtue signalling pedophiles watch AEW.
Honestly I'm watching because I miss WCW and I'm willing to watch a trainwreck.
The best thing that mjf could have done was to slide underneath the bottom rope, grab a mic, get back into the ring, climb to the top rope and say "You guys have better keep that chant going for at least" *looks at his watch* "three more years, because Donald Trump is still your president".
Now THAT'S how you get heat.
That would require MJF having foresight to do that instead of getting gobsmacked. If MJF had done that it'd most likely get him in trouble instead of Brody King. Like compare him to Miz all you want at the end of the day he's actually a professional.
Liked the original intent of chronicling the MNWs to disprove narratives and lies that got spread throughout the years, got tired when it became more about him and dickriding his personal favorites and bashing the ones he didn’t like.

RIP his gravy train.
Honestly I didn't mind his reoccurring gags or his dickriding but it's the pretending to be a puritan that bothers me. You can be both glad that women are being taken seriously as well as admiring the eye candy once in a while. But I say this in hindsight, Trish Stratus is a trooper at the time.

You're absolutely right on that score. He was my favorite back then, but promos were definitely his weak spot. It's too bad Heyman couldn't have been his manager back then, he's someone that could have used a guy like Heyman to be his mouthpiece.

I'll say it again: I think Mr. McMahon being the higher power was way dumber than the finger poke of doom. If the FOD wasn't up against Mankind winning the belt and didn't have Tony saying that "butts in the seats" line it wouldn't have been remembered nearly as bad as it was. I genuinely thought that Jake Roberts or some WCW guy would be the higher power. Oh well.

WB did bring up a good point in a non-MNW video I watched recently though. Smarks love that Stan Hansen and Vader were stiff, but when it's Warrior or Goldberg doing it, it somehow becomes bad. Stiff is stiff.

The finger poke of Doom made sense from a storyline standpoint because it was friends telling the crowd to go fuck themselves. It got heat.
Vince McMahon being the higher power not only didn't make sense, it just proved that Vince has to find a way to make himself the center of attention in every storyline.

Trick is growing on me. Sami Zayn sucks.
Sami is a boring, generic wrestler with a dad bod and has no business in the ring.
The only thing I want to see ran back is not some stupid drunk Samoans entrance, I want to see Drew run it back and beat the fucking piss out of Sami at wrestlemania.
Catching up on AEW stuff and it looks like r/squaredcircle regular Viva Van has gained a shit-ton of weight and is a chubby girl now.

I'm sure that will do wonders for her career.
If she had a dick Tony would have put the women's belt on her fat ass.
Supposedly Christopher Daniels was suggested as being the higher power but Vince saw how small he was and snuffed that idea out real quick.
He's too SMOL, pal!

The video packages and Glaciers entrances are fucking kino then and now.
Alex Wright is simply a better wrestler and just simply more charismatic than Disco
David Flair needed more training and to hit the gym if he wanted to be on TV
The whole tough guy biker thing is seen as a half joke in England where the lingering presence of Mod and Skinhead culture lurks in the national psyche

Who would win in a shoot fight?
Steve Blackman or Meng

The Fingerpoke of Doom got go away heat. It was all of those guys actually telling the fans to go fuck themselves, and not in kayfabe. They spent around nine months doing an NWO split storyline then end it with "lol we were buddies the whole time" asspull. On top of that, the whole thing buried Goldberg. It was shit. It was a waste of time. It was an insult to the audience, both the 40,000 people in the Georgia Dome who were promised a Goldberg match they didn't get and the millions at home watching.

As an 11-year old watching it, I was tired of NWO winning all the time and the fingerpoke of doom was the last straw. NWO rarely got their comeuppance and when they did, it was usually short-lived. It was time for it to end and move on to something else, but people were still buying T-shirts so they kept it on life support.

I never fully stopped watching WCW, but at this point, I started losing interest and Nitro became background noise more so than must-see TV. It pretty much stayed that way until the last episode.

I had to watch WCW growing up and it was only an hour long version of Nitro because WWF didn't air in Australia until 1998.
WWF aired before that but it was off TV for YEARS in Australia, and even when it came back WCW was on free TV and you had to have cable to watch WWF. None of our bogan asses had cable, I don't even think my town was capable of cable.
