Oh right, they used to be hot. What the hell happened? Must be the "new toy syndrome."
FTR Baldy Bald making a constant ass of himself in social media doesn't help. Like Brother, you're supposed to be this tough fucking bastard. I get enjoying your kid, nothing wrong with that on principle. But everything else, bitching and moaning, and kissing ass... dude, pls no, fucking stop.

Nah, it's more "Matt and Nick are butthurt because they're not considered the top tag team in the company." I tend to avoid that line of reasoning because I feel like a lot of the talk and conspiracy about them engaging in whisper campaigns against wrestlers they have beef with are conjecture at best, but I've grown jaded enough to no longer give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was the same way. But I found it weird how whenever there is drama going on with AEW it usually involves something pertaining to them or something they straight up shoehorned themselves into (like that footage with CM Punk they made a big fucking deal about.)

So GCW announced their next big show, and you can already tell that it's going to be a shit show with the wrestlers that they have on offer.
Not going to lie, there was a time I was *kind of* warmed up to GCW. La Parka and Masato Tanaka in a hardcore match 20+ years past their prime? A Michael Jackson impersonator vs 80 year old wrestling journeyman Michael Jackson? I was sold. I feel like the downfall happened whenever Cardona won the title. They had so much hype from that and had no idea how to capitalize on it. Now they're just ECW for dance major graduates and doubled down on the faggotry.

The only way they could redeem themselves is to let Buff Bagwell wrestle the deathmatch he wanted to before he got sober.

The schizo take on Owen Hart.

He committed suicide because he felt like he couldn't escape the industry he had grown to hate or the wife that made it impossible for him to quit because he had to pay for her ~*dReAM hOmE*~

So instead of ODing on pills or shooting himself (and leaving behind two devastated children), he opted to commit suicide in the most chaotic and public manner possible by rigging his quick release safety harness to drop him at sixty feet. A method that didn't even necessarily guarantee his death and could've left him maimed and in intense pain for the rest of his life; a life filled with crippling medical bills and a broken family forced to look after him hand and foot. Am I understanding this?

Falling chest first on the ringpost > Kurt Cobain cover. :story:

I don't remember them feeling like they're this top tag team in AEW at all. Must be their lack of charisma, punch-able faces and drama-chasing. I was more amused at the team of Danhausen and Hook than these attention-seeking EVPs.

Seeing reports on the Twitter machine that ticket packages for both nights of Mania are going to cost $70k, $50k, and $35k PER SEAT for first, second, and third rows respectively. Just pure fucking insanity. I'll simp for capitalism until my dying breath but I'm starting to question if there's a limit. Even if I had fuck you money I wouldn't touch that shit with a ten foot pole out of principle.

70k might genuinely end up being 10k per match. 41 was 7 matches per night. If it’s a package for both nights then “only” 5k per match.

Genuinely curious how many GCW shows payoffs 70k is. The only info I have is when a guy accused Brett of not paying Brett showed a PayPal of $150. I do assume they pay travel for Maki Itoh and Takeda and some others, but 70k outside of mania or homecoming weekend can probably pay like 3-5 months of GCW shows payoffs lol.

Fucking lol
