there was a great story of a guy on /wooo/ who was a paid extra for an Impact taping
iirc basically he showed up for two of three nights, got paid for one, threw a spaz at the pay window and ended up hustling them for three nights pay, then spent it immediately on a mix of scripts, fast food, and street drugs
he was basically the most successful indy wrestler ever

I forgot all about that!

If I remember right this was 2011/12, TNA was circling the drain and doing everything they could to look like they had some kind of motion. I can't remember where they were taping but it was at one city for a series of shows (Impact, Xplosion, ect) . At this point, TNA couldn't even GIVE tickets away so they started paying people to be in the audience. You signed up on the TNA website, showed up and collected your money. TNA was ice cold so the anon didn't want to stay for the three days he signed up for so he did the one night, lied about the other two and collected his money.

I miss /wooo/. Even with gayballs like Freehaven, and Ken Blackwell fagging it up occasionally, we had some pretty good times. Everyone got along and churned out top quality memes and content in an era where wrestling was aggresively boring.

Its a shame Kirtaner sold out to wreddit refugees and overmodded the board to where nearly no one could post there without a ban.

I was in line waiting to get into the DDT show over Mania weekend which was held right after the yearly tranny rodeo, meaning that I saw every single "person" who attended that shit as they filed out of the theater. Why are we pretending to give a shit about TNA numbers? Have we seen a massive drop?

The Mullett Arena is like a 5K venue, less for events like wrestling.

Also, re: Slammiversary. I wouldn't be making a big deal out of 16K given their configuration. They'll likely sell a good chunk of those as General Admission closer to the show date.
