Funny as R-Truth was, he will forever be a what-if story in my mind. That being, what if WWE actually appreciated his freak athleticism and actually booked him as a serious main event talent? Granted, I'm happy for him that he could stumble into a character that could guarantee his longterm health while making good money, but I like to peek into the alternate reality where Ron Killings was the serious and intense heel that I saw glimpses of back in TNA and that was carried into his WWE run.
He was a funny ass dude for sure. I remember his first WWF run made me think he was nothing special. They made him be a rapper and didn't showcase his humor and cool personality. Instead he was just a rapper who hung out with Road Dogg. I didn't see his TNA run but his 2nd WWE run showed off his humor and personality better. Very likeable guy and funny as hell. I remember reading somewhere that he was given a chance to be a champion but he didn't want to do it since it would've been a lot more public appearances, etc and he enjoyed the role he had. Since he was signed into his 50s and probably (mostly) avoided the CTE and other health issues, I'd say he made a good choice.

Obviously I am sad that he wasn't renewed, but he's 53 years old so I get it. Even though he's a genetic freak and looks 20 years younger, I get it.

Aaaaaaaand once again wrestling fans reinforcing the claim they're the scummiest fuckers of any fanbase by having yet another creepy stalker arrested in Florida this time it was a Liv Morgan stalker.

I'd ask why it's always Florida, but that question answers itself.

Wrestling fans continue to be the worst thing about Wrestling, I swear...

Two big reasons one is that WWE has NXT and the performance center down there and two is Florida has always been sorta a wrestler haven going back to the 70s, well that and Georgia.

I seem to remember her getting targeted before with some guy showing up at her house.

I'll truly never understand the mindset of these loons. I know they are fucked in the head but do they genuinely think these relatively wealthy, famous and good looking women are going to be won over by one interaction with some fan?

There was a reason why when she and Dom did that video from India that she had like four dozen security guards around her (hint: cause they were in India).

Yes they do. If you've never read Russell Greer's thread I'd highly recommend it. It's like the perfect case study in this phenomenon since he believes in it so much he's literally tried to sue over it, several times, when it didn't work out the way he wanted.

I can't help but feel that R-Truth's release was a work (as well as Miz taking WWE out of his bio and blah blah blah). He just had a match against Cena not too long ago and saying Cena played politics for his release makes sense as a way to get heat lol.

I miss the Truth already and if this is truly it, may he enjoy a peaceful, well-deserved retirement.

another big thing is Florida has no state income tax and multiple international airports, so you can (theoretically) buy a house in Bumfuck then when you're on the road you've got lots of transport options

These are the same people who blame the female talent for "being / dressing like a slut" in the first place. Kissing & inappropriately touching them in a convention and stalking them are the typical wrestling creeps. Classic basement-dwelling narcissists whose lives only revolve around wrestling.

Agreed. Anyone here remember Armando Alejandro Montalvo? People like him ending up on the news for the creepy antics they do are why unfortunately, the wrestling community gets a bad reputation sometimes. Like this moment for example when he trespassed outside the WWE Performance Center and once the cops showed up, he charged at them with a rock and one of the officers proceeded to shoot him.
