I haven't bothered to catch up with whatever the fuck the indie kids end up at when they hit the WWE, but man do I miss the wacky hijinks days of Dragon Gate where Tozawa routinely got sexually assaulted by Yosuke Heart Santa Maria. That shit just doesn't fly in the states anymore.

I think that will be the case when they come up. The only Japanese wrestler currently featured on RAW (as part of the cruiserweight division) is Akira Tozawa who doesn't have a stereotypical gimmick. His character is kind of like the fighting spirit character you see in New Japan stars.
In this day and age a racist stereotype would just be too much gimmick for them to keep track of. lolWWE can barely handle "guy in trunks who wrestles" as their gimmick for half the roster.

That argument has been around forever and yet WWE never changes. Look at New Day. They're basically a minstrel show.
Meh, one of the few other gimmicks WWE can handle is "they dance and like to have fun" regardless of race. Is unicorns and lisa frank stuff a stereotype these days? For the low standards of "respectful gimmick on a black person" they seem fairly benign. And I can never hate something that upped the ringside prop game like they did with Francesca.

One of my favorite hateful stereotype wrestlers is Jeff Jarrett in Evil American mode for when he works Mexico. Holy shit he wasn't just cheap heat, he was slashing and dashing prices on heat. Him and Karen would come out literally throwing tortillas at the crowd. The AAA crowds would throw so much shit at them it was amazing.

Don't forget how great he was in the Chyna feud as scumbag misogynist

This is the stupid thing, The IWC always makes fun of cheap heat like mocking the local sports team or insulting the crowd, but is what we have today in WWE really any better? What's a heel in the WWE anymore? The top heel on RAW is a guy who gets cheered just as much as Chris Jericho, despite the fact that Jericho is almost certainly the face in this situation. On Smackdown, the top heel is AJ Styles, who is a guy who flips all over the place like a total face.

It's a mix of the WWE being too stupid to have the heels do stuff that is guaranteed to get people to boo them, and the crowd being smarky as fuck and doing those retarded 'You deserve it chants' to people who cheat during the match.

The whole TNA trying to fuck over the Hardys is hilarious. They're trying to sue the only thing that made Impact watchable in 2016,Two guy who busted tbeir ass and made one of the weirdest gimmick one of best in wrestling. And why suing them? That's the part I dont understand. The only reason I can see is hurting the Hardys business since TNA cant make money with it anymore.

I hope they try to use Broken on some other chumps and the crowd shits all over it.

So where does the newly released Jack Swagger go? CMLL already has a face and a heel white American, AAA couldn't afford him and they have Cage for a heel white American, ROH? Seems like Impact is tight on money so I don't know if he'd end up there. Maybe he'll do like Cody and bounce around for a while.

According to the dirts I read this morning Dutch Mantel made some "we the people" references during TNA filmings. I know they did shit like that in the Dixie era, not sure if Jarrett would pull the same shit.

Swagger/Dutch vs Homicide/Konnan might be fun enough.

skip to about 5:50.
I love that little look to ringside that Chris Champion gives after the kick, that seems to say "oh shit. this will not end well for me".

Im sure if i got hit with a clothesline like that it would detach my head.
Good, champion was a pedo
