Omega said pretty much the same thing on a livestream with some fighting game guy last week.

His phrasing was that Logan makes you think he's a good wrestler overall by learning step by step how to have one good match and there's nothing wrong with a part-timer doing that.

It wasn't a criticism but more of a commentary on the situation.

Smarks just seethe because hes a YouTube normalfag and according to them "Not an actual wrestler", i dont really care for his youtube stuff either but like jesus christ give credit where credit is due, hes wrestled like maybe 10-11 matches and can work a match great, not many can do that easily

I’ve written before how it’s surprising to realize how my wrestling biases are just influenced by kayfabe. Like I did for the longest time think Shawn Michaels was gay because he dressed like a leather daddy. Whether he was Vince’s boytoy behind closed doors we’ll probably never know for certain but my perception of Shawn was just from his gimmick. I have a good friend who to this day thinks Dustin Rhodes is a freak because of his work as Goldust.

Anyway I just realized that I’ve had a negative opinion toward Sgt Slaughter because my impression of him totally was from his heel work most infamously when his character was Pro-Iran. Makes me laugh especially after reading that Robert Remus is appearently a really nice guy when talking to fans and according to other wrestlers. I bet he’s received a lot of dirty looks for his gimmick.

Edit: I forgot to mention I also mentally associated Sgt Slaughter with Moviebob who cosplayed as him once. That was another reason I had a negative feeling to the actual performer. LOL.

In regards to this thread being the most sanitized thread on the forum, I would even go so far as to say that it is the most sanitized wrestling thread on these sides of the internet forums. I'm on two currently, and both are some of the most toxic I've been being a wrestling fan, one is super pro AEW, you can't give strong criticisms because otherwise the jannies come to give you a warning about you being toxic.

And also several users throwing passive-aggressive comments at you, seething about how I don't enjoy real Wrestling. Plus I've had one assface tell me I was a horrible person because I still liked WWE after the Vince McMahon scandal, of course him being such a fan of AEW never commented to me when I reminded him about the Chris Jericho allegations, but that didn't stop him from acting hostile to me at every turn. I feel that much of my hatred of AEW is due to these online forums.

But of course guys, that's not who you are, you guys are great, keep up the good attitude when talking about our favorite non-sport sport.
 
Mercedes is a horsefaced bitch, every time I see her I want to beat a dead horse. Every single day of her reign is just a countdown to the glue factory where it'll help make the little Mercedes puppets. Say what you want about Hogan but he put people over at least. It's time to send her back to NXT where she justly belongs, where she doesn't pass go and collect $200. Lastly why was Mercedes popular is it because she got shat on by Vince literally?
