Sometimes I see clips of old wrestling remade into modern memes and it brings a smile to my face.

So many great moments from the 2000s. Can't believe it's been almost 20 years. Fuck, I'm getting old.

I’m a straight up mark for Penta now.
Watched all seasons of Lucha Underground to get a feel for him outside of WWE and I’m hooked.

He’s got charisma, an aura, has a grip on ring psychology, can do off the ropes high flying Lucha stuff, his look is unique, sad we’re not going to get anymore death matches like he did with Vampiro, but so immensely excited for him.

And dumb but until I watched Lucha Underground I thought Royal Rumble was the first time he faced off against Rey, but their past matches were fantastic.

Yeah he’s got some botches to work out, but have faith that it’ll be fine.
If they stick him in LWO to rot, I’m rioting because they need a new iconic lucha because Rey is getting up there in age.
There’s never going to be another Rey, but there can be a first Penta.

Here's Kurt talking about it, I've seen that promo go viral multiple times in the last year it's just that good.

So Dave has decided to lower himself even more as he's now reacting to posts on /pw/ now.

Watching Raquel Rodriguez job to Roxanne Perez made me sad. I rewatched the title match Raquel had vs Rhea in Sept 2023, and it's remarkable how much better she looked in the ring before joining Judgement Day. I don't know how much of it is Mast Cell Activetion Syndrome, and how much of it is booking, but I don't wear my Ponderosa Peligrosa tee to the gym anymore. Raw needs some NXT callups ASAP to replenish the womens midcard.

Kurt nailed that "I'm a dumbass but dangerous" character. Like you knew his character was stupid but when he needed to turn it on he could.
That's also why I love Gable. Dudes athletic but he does have some comedic chops. The heel you boo but you laugh at/with. Makes me excited to see what they do with American Made and they don't fumble this.

I don’t get Roxanne Perez at all.
She’s tiny, like Zelina Vega tiny, but curvy thicc Latina.
Maybe that’s why she gets over, but it’s crazy to see a wrestler make Liv Morgan look tall.
Clearly they’re getting ready to push her, but underwhelmed on that one.
Maybe she’s a good worker, but not sold.
Might not be part of the petite thicc Latina target demographic though.

Very excited for Stephanie Vaquer though, she’s got great presence and ring ability.

From a lower mid card wrestler to one of the biggest merch pushers in the business. It's funny watching the show in hindsight, because you can tell that they hadn't expected him to get as over as he did and you could argue that he gradually became the main character.
