Who's going to cover AEW, because I bet most of us will watch NXT?

This Women's Hardcore Match blows AEW's Women's hardcore matches out of the water.

EDIT: Sorry for double posting

I'm sorta one-third watching or so while doing dishes and munching on leftovers
MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley are a stable and they are guys who beat up people

And I though NXT would have the men's tag team match (with an ECW original) close out the show.

Lets be honest, how many of y'all expected Rhino to make a cameo?
I first thought it would be Sabu, but I then remembered his body is probably too broken to do any spots.

Edit: if I recall, D-Von had neck surgery not long ago, which likely is the reason why he didn't do a 3D through the table.

Brian Last had a decent point, that The Hurt Syndicate get a genuine buzz because they feel divorced from the obnoxious meta bullshit featuring Moxley and The Bucks. It's as simple as it gets: MVP is a manager, he wants to manage Swerve (who is a former world champion, so it makes perfect sense why he'd be scouted), Swerve refuses, MVP takes offense and decides to make an example out of him. Done. It's not Shakespeare, but newcomers can immediately understand what's happening without the announcers having to make constant references to decades old matches they'd never seen or heard of.

- Hurt Syndicate stands out head and shoulders because they have charisma and screen presence. Decent intro to the faction, Swerve comes out and challenges Lasher at Full Gear. (Let's not build the fucking feud up and generate some heat now... gotta get it outta the way for another potential 1 hour banger)
- Tag match. Passable. Darby taking another mind boggling bump. I'm kinda hanging in there with what Death Riders are doing...
- Ricochet and Hurt Syndicate vignette. See where that goes. (Nowhere considering later that night)
- Some 3 man tag happened, was not paying attention.
- Cole and Black had their NXT 2.0 match. Won't lie, was pretty decent. The ending was fucking off putting. Either Black is leaving or something. Adam Cole continues to be the least intimidating wrestler since Judy Bagwell. DOA feud with MJF here.
- Jay White and Unhinged Hangman fight. I'm looking forward to this match at Full Gear.
- Cage talking about hurting Tazz to Hook. Not even Cage can make this interesting... I fear this might set up a one night only Tazz in the ring with his son against Cage and whatever son he has in his factory of fatherless children.
- Penelope Ford is hot. Jamie Hayter really tried to get the crowd involved in the match. Sadly it was a potato farm for no reward.
- There was some vignetter where Statlander nearly got ran over by Kamilles female driving. Mone got spiked on to the bonnet of said car.
- Powerhouse Hobbs is back... his contact with the Callis Family expired? Tag team match was ok. Takeshita took the loss (yeah, real fucking champion ya got there... way to make him a threat). Breakdown fight, Cole is fighting Takeshita next week (eating yet another pin...). Ospreay came back and... yeah.

Half arsed show tonight I reckon. Full Gear is gonna be a slog to watch. I am not excited in the slightest with Mox v Cassidy again...

Rhyno was one oft he few acts that made the Hardcore title feel important, especially with his match against Raven at Backlash 2001. That gore into the cart is such a smart spot
