He was also one of the biggest merch movers in what was modern NJPW's hottest period. Like LiJ Evil was mega over with little kids and sold a ton of those little toy scythes, penlights, and shirts. The whole reason they spun him off into Evil2Beltz and gave him his own faction was because Bullet Club was cooling down hard, Okada needed to take time off because his back was completely fucked, they hadn't been able to build up any of their returning lions into anything resembling a future prospect, and needed to try anything to get people invested. Man what a different place NJPW would be right now if they had just trusted Naito then, let him unify the belts, and kept KWABta Ibushit as just an uppercard transitional champ. If they could have trusted Naito for most of 2000 Ospreay would have come back from being stuck in the UK juiced to the gills and looking like an actual main eventer.

Is that really much of an achievement when her prior relationship was a methhead death match Juggalo, and the only reason that she broke it off was because he ended up getting her involved with drug smuggling which almost resulted in her going to jail for a very long time? Like I love Nosawa, absolute ass in the ring but he is honestly a great booker. But come the fuck on.

Cornette converted to Judaism recently. It probably helps to remember that Great "The Brian" Lastbergwitzstein also managed to work Corny into giving him the rights to the channel and podcast. That may provide some framework as to why Corny always falls in line when Last puts his foot down.

When Ricochet showed up in AEW I saw people online everywhere making jokes how it will take a month for him getting booked on Rampage.

They got other wrestlers who are somewhat familiar to people here like Nick Gage who wrestled for CZW and GCW, Colt Cabana who has had a long history with JCW when he donned a police officer gimmick (and has previously worked for WWE, Ring of Honor, NJPW, and on the short lived Wrestling Society X show on MTV along with currently being signed to AEW), and recently Simon Gotch who was a former NXT tag team champion. They'll be doing a PPV on Triller TV titled "Devil's Night" in Detroit, Michigan on October 30th (if you want to know the reason behind that PPV title, it's another name for Mischief Night) featuring Bound for Glory main eventer Nic Nemeth along with Matt Riddle and Colt Cabana donning the police officer gimmick.

Oof. I actually remember meeting him at an indie show at one time. He was somewhat chill and talked about his experiences with pro wrestling. Kinda sucks that he actually did this shit and wasn't just accused of this shit with not a lot of proof.

She had a miscarriage so AEW decided to give her a good bit of time to deal with it and then she had a hip replacement like most normal people need when they are in their early 30s because wrestling is a totally normal job.

I feel bad for her. She's had a hard go of it recently but i've never heard anything negative about her. If TK is anyway decent he'll keep her on the books for another few years because she's a decent worker but she isn't the right fit for WWE to sign her. Stick her on a decently high 5-figure-a-year deal until she decides she's too old for this shit and her and Kip can open a training school.

That's actually horrible, good on TK for letting her stay during those horrible times in her life, also that hip replacement in her early 30s is absolutely wild. Poor girl.

Hope she stays healthy when it makes her return.

The Hicklib is a dangerous animal that seeks to destroy his own friends and home to appease wolves who will eat them anyway.

SJW wrestling fans loathe Cornette for all the outright racist and sexist things he's said, and the "implied" racist and sexist things he's said. But he desperately wants those same people to think he's a progressive ally. Because otherwise he'd have to admit he's an out of touch old man who doesn't know anything outside of wrestling.

That's the part about Corny I simply don't get. Hearing him rant and rave about orange man bad, every single complaint he has about Trump could (more accurately) be made about him. It can't all just be projection can it?
