I'd take this any day of the week over whatever heatless banger is on Collision.

Who could possibly give a shit about Chicago Man Punk limping his way through a match at the same event where Dwayne reemerges to join the growing collection of 8 million Samoans in WWE when this kind of thing is happening at the same time:

aew fans in here have become increasingly insecure and whiney as of late, whats up with that?
no, i dont care about some chink doing comedy wrestling. yes, i do care about the rock coming back lol

also the cm punk seething is getting kinda ridiculous

Meltzer gonna give that 7 stars

I hope he does.

It's more interesting than TK booking a "dream match" every other week for the "sickos" whilst the stacked roster he has loses any kind of credibility because of how bad everything else about his booking is and it's certainly more interesting than a broken down Punk going over a top guy who has publicly resigned himself to being a jobber before a failed movie star honors the plebs with his presence so that he can absorb yet more TV time for his dimeless shitter family.

CM Punk: AEW people are unprofessional

Also CM Punk: Refuses to blade, uses fake blood, makes you carry the match after busting you up hardway by just smashing a steel toolbox on your head with zero regards for your safety, also takes no receipts.

He really shouldn't be taking the moral high ground especially when he started mouthing off the AEW EVPs all of a sudden that led to the Brawl Out incident in the first place and also trying to choke out Jungle Boy when he could have handled it in a professional manner in order to set a good example to the already-toxic AEW locker room.

I wonder how many times Punk's gone off about being "a locker room leader" to somebody while somebody else was making jackoff motions standing behind him

Can't we just agree that today's wrestling is all shit, and that wrestling in the 80s and 90s was 1000 times better?
Honestly, I think WWF in the Atttitude era and WCW from 96-98 had a lot more omph and edge to it with bigger stars and I prefer that to today, because it's the time I grew up. I also prefer the in ring product from the Ruthless Aggression era to today. However, I think from a purely storytelling perspective, the booking right now in WWE is probably the best is has ever been. I only watch the highlights on Youtube and the PPVs, but they are actually telling complete long-term stories with a beginning, middle and end, and the stories are getting over. That shit with Dom, Rhea and Liv at Summerslam is the most over something has gotten in WWE purely based on booking characters properly in fucking decades. This is the shit people want to see.

I know, I'm a 40-year-old man too. I also liked Stone Cold giving a man in a diaper a stunner into a porta potty better than the shit today, but that's not what the audience today wants.
