had to pause my whole RAW viewing to share this

Fucking got a belly laugh out of me

So, I got up a bit early last night (I work overnights) and thought I'd give what was left of RAW an effort watch as I've tuned it out usually a minute or 2 of turning it on because I cannot stand Pat McAfee's retarded screeching.

First match up... Triple Paul's Dyke squad...oh hell no...

I tuned back in to catch some of the Wyatt goofs vs Gable and the Creed bros. So, lemme get this straight... The Wyatt crew get introduced a bit back by seemingly murdering a bunch of the roster, including Gable... but they (The Wyatts) are the faces here?!?

I haven't watched a second of AEW in over 2 years at this point... The WWE can fuck right off too. Not gonna watch Smackdown as that is the Samoan containment center for the time being. Why does wrestling have to blow?

I'm telling you man, the formula for enjoying WWE right now is:

1) Watch the 20 minute highlight reel they post on Youtube the day after Raw and Smackdown.

2) Watch the PLEs live.

There is nothing on the weekly TV worth seeing live. It's being booked like 1980s WWF where they build to a handful of shows as opposed to Attitude era crash TV where important stuff happens every week. It's like in the late 80s/early 90s where you only needed to watch the PPVs and Saturday Night's Main Event. Raw and Smackdown are both just WWF Superstars from 1992 now.
 
The Lucha Brothers are reportedly leaving AEW after their contracts expire and may sign with WWE. Their match at All In has been scrapped as a result of this news.

Was just wondering this. From what I’m seeing it looks like they’re still signed. for now.

Billy in Carnyland (a documentary about his personal life/him managing the NWA) was released this year on the CW… and I doubt anyone gave a shit.

Every time I watch the NWA in recent weeks everyone looks like they’re drunk but not in a fun way— like whiskey dick and barely shoving each other way. Billy is barely putting any effort into his commentary during the matches.

I agree has to be the death knell of their deal— and their low effort production shows they know

Aew ran a retrospective live stream of their matches today. Word is Daniel Garcia is WWE bound too, probably showing up at NXT

Billy has no idea what he’s doing. He wants the grit of the old days but he isn’t that creative when it comes to wrestling.

He also doesn’t hire more creative talent or simply doesn’t want to pay for said talent. He might want to always be the biggest celeb in the room.

I honestly think he lets his talent drink on the job. Just watch them fight and look at the beer bellies. They’re wasted and it ain’t acting.

He desperately needs to give his guys acting coaches or fire the one he has because they’re barely trying.

It’s a shame, really. Billy is just a really stiff and awkward autistic with a robot sense of humor. If anyone cares to watch Billy in Carnyland, this really shows.

He’s just that kind of guy— going from really boring to “let’s show him snorting coke that will seem edgy and real, right?” But it comes as try hard and stupid.

For example one of the recent gags was whoever wins gets to kick the other guy in the balls. Everyone was so meh about doing so the pay off wasn’t funny at all.

Yeah it was weird to act like this was novel. It was such a “hey guys BALLS KICKING am I right?” From the lackluster commentators
And the crowd was so meh and so were the wrestlers.

They climbed a ladder to grab a bag as a representation of “kicking the family jewels”

A midget lost and he got kicked in the balls which made it actually somewhat depressing.
