It was upsetting listening to random old episodes of the Deadlock Podcast only to hear them start talking about Kidd Bandit and talking about him in a positive manner. I'll still listen, but it really sucks knowing they're involved with tranny scum.

I just feel like the more I listen to their opinions on wrestling the more I realize they're the exact kind of obnoxious smarks I fucking despise in wrestling especially pulse

NXT talent appearing on TNA on a somewhat regular basis feels odd. Like, half convinced as I am that WWE is trying to poach Joe Hendry, of this leads to AJ Styles being allowed to retire - hell, even just have one final match - in a TNA ring I’m all for it. Guy practically built that company up for years…

Hey Tony - see, this is how you do a Partnership, not just “no MY toys always have to win!”
Seeing the AEW marks losing their shit because *gasp* NXT and TNA actually has been doing an alright job crossing over instead of being a constant, three month long burial of the entirety of TNA 's roster has greatly improved my sports entertainment value in 2024.

Vaquer jumping to NXT after working the money mark and saddling NJPW with Botcha Banks again after their bowling shoe of a match is just CINEMA. :story:

She's probably too good for NXT to be honest.

Also, she better pray that her WWE run isn't a bust because CMLL, NJPW and Rev Pro are pissed at her for leaving them high and dry on bookings she had with them. CMLL traditionally has no problem with their signed talent working out deals to move to other companies as long as they fulfill all of their prior commitments before leaving.

Vaquer allegedly told them that she was going to do this for them but then she basically told them to go fuck themselves once she'd inked her WWE deal and they had to vacate her titles without her putting someone over on her way out of the company and Rev Pro and NJPW have had to apologize to fans because she isn't showing up for shows they'd sold tickets to already.

She's fucked if she ever has to go back to the indies.

it will be probably just skin characters like in fortnite, or batista in gears of war 5.
How you forgetting about the New Day in gears 5

It’s pretty shitty for her to do that, but I think we’ve all had jobs where we put in a notice and then decide fuck it and walk despite what we told them. Obviously that’s nothing like signing a legally binding document, but I can understand the motive.

She better get on the next rocket to the Moon in NXT, otherwise she’ll be as popular as a turd in a punchbowl.

Damn i never heard of that. Batista got some competition lol.
Was pretty sweet to get a piledriver for an execution. Regardless of the entry I feel like Batista will always be a Marcus DLC skin.

Hopefully its more than the Siege Crossover the undertaker one was kinda ass

Adding some other crossovers if they haven't been mentioned.

KOF Allstars

Fall guys (mankind skin is dope)

The part that's pretty fucked up (which the other poster didn't mention) is she was only 5 days away from the scheduled show where she's been advertised for months that she's going to defend her title. She could have easily waited a week to ink the contract and dropped the belt at the show for which fans have been buying tickets for months.

It stinks of the WWE pressuring her to screw over these promotions deliberately. Only upside for them is she doesn't risk an injury by performing on their show.

Is that what people have been saying? I would think the Fed would have much better foresight than to pressure someone to sign. If that was the better offer, then that’s fine, but to be pressured into it? I’d rather stick with my current promotion or go somewhere I wasn’t getting pressured.

WWE are trying to expand into South America properly at the moment. They will use any avenue available to them to fuck over established promotions in the region. The only time they will co-operate with another company is when they are getting ready to buy them/poach all of their top talent.

They are the Apple/Microsoft of the wrestling industry and anyone cheering on their "co-operation"/epic signings is celebrating the medium being homogenized into a beige slop of "sports-entertainment" shite.

AEW, NJPW, TNA and the rest of them have huge mis-steps but I literally can't watch the Marvel-movie shit that TKO is producing. I'd sooner watch Billy Bob Buttfuck vs. Flippy Mc Fuckface kill each other for $20 and a hotdog than have to endure Dwaynes Half-Nephews-Brother #184 bury the high profile newly signed jobber-of-the-week with the 5 moves they showed him how to do in the PC.

I don't see it that way. She's been a massive WWE fan since she was a kid. The contract came in and she jumped on it. Nearly everyone else was able to finish out their dates, but suddenly she says 'nope' and drops everything. Vaquer wants to get the next part of her career started, good for her in that respect. She probably didn't want to get injured on her way in to the business, like Giulia.

For a supposed golden age for WWE, I still only catch highlights or big events. Watching full weekly shows is still a giant slog, so I don't waste my time. It wasn't like that during the attitude era or ruthless aggression eras, the weekly shows were actually entertaining for the most part. I feel like people are just looking at revenue and assuming that this must be a great era just because "number go up".

Yu sound like an obnoxious faggot smark but I repeat myself

Internet smark shit aside, I do agree with you about the homogenization of the business. The reason territories worked so well was because everyone had the same idea of running a business and respecting each other. Ever since Vince began buying competition it’s been hard to find anything other than WWE. The last truly competitive promotion was WCW, but even that company had its own inner turmoil.

At the end of the day, this is how business rolls. The only thing we can do as fans is simply not tune in or spend our money on it.

It’s hard sometimes. Pretty much every Raw since mid April has been so-so at best. Some good wrestling, but story segments are lacking. Smackdown has been on a relative tear lately and has much better storylines, but the matches aren’t up to par with Raw. I don’t watch NXT to really know, but now it seems inescapable.

I stopped watching AEW in 2023 because it was embarrassing, so now I just listen to reviews/recaps. They can be admittedly biased, so always take it with a grain of salt, but I’m not inclined to think “No way is the show that bad”.

Honestly if you’re a more casual fan, watching YouTube clips for certain segments and then watching PPVs (fuck you Hunter I’m not calling them PLEs eat shit and die)/big events would be sufficient. But I still like watching weekly shows because it’s my gay little sport and I love it.

Is that what people have been saying?
Nah, it's my read on the situation.

I feel like people are just looking at revenue and assuming that this must be a great era just because "number go up".
That's part of it. The improved production values and the standards having been so low over the past 10-15 years are also contributing to the perception that they're on the major upswing.

Brazilian Butt Lift, she's implying Bayley had work done, and I agree, cuz DAMN!
Too bad she's got a face that would knock a buzzard off a shitwagon.

EDIT: The Territories were great, as each tended to have their own flavor, even if they were geographically close to each other.

These days, you pretty much have WWE style, deathmatch garbage, and flippy horseshit.
