The 7/10 edition of AEW Dynamite did 691,000 overnight viewers, up from last week's 688,000 overnight viewers, according to WrestleNomics.com.

In the 18-49 demo Dynamite scored a 0.23, even with last week's 0.23.

NXT talent appearing on TNA on a somewhat regular basis feels odd. Like, half convinced as I am that WWE is trying to poach Joe Hendry, of this leads to AJ Styles being allowed to retire - hell, even just have one final match - in a TNA ring I’m all for it. Guy practically built that company up for years…

Hey Tony - see, this is how you do a Partnership, not just “no MY toys always have to win!”

AJ Styles is going to Japan, to have a match with Pro Wrestling NOAH legend, Naomichi Marufuji. It was announced a while ago, but this is for their Destination PPV.

Enzo fucking Amore got himself over. Hell he used to carry around a notebook filled with booking ideas and gimmicks and would harass Vince every time he saw him. Vince never punished him for any of that. He got let go because he raped a woman AND THEY CAN'T TEACH THAT.
Enzo was NEVER fucking popular. He helped drive away scores on fans and viewers in those dark years of 2014-2020 and only got pushed because John Cena. Rather than use all of his pull and favors to help say, Zach Ryder out (especially after Cena single handedly killed Zach's big early 10 push with the Kane storyline), Cena wasted all of his political capital on getting Enzo pushed purely because Hunter hated his guts and rightfully so and Cena wanted to flex on Hunter over how he could get Vince to push someone if Cena vouched for him.

And once Cena fucked off for good, Hunter (in one of the few cases of 100% being right to bury someone) had the entire Cruiserweight division stage a live TV lynching of Enzo as a big moment of fan catharsis of watching the shitstain be buried by people infinitely better than him but who couldn't get pushed or even TV time, because they didn't have John Cena's favor.

That's unironically a top 10 for me during those dark ages, that was amazing and fucking cathartic.

This is just not true. Enzo and Cass were very over in NXT and on the main roster for a little while, it's just they actually sucked when it came to anything other than their SAWFT promo so eventually everyone just stopped caring.

Call me a smark or a simp, but Rhea’s return had me screaming because it was the perfect moment.

Dirty, despicable Dom had finally embraced the Liv Morgan situation, beat up his (deadbeat) dad, THEN Rhea’s music hit.

Art.
Predictions for her story now that Dom Dom is over and The Judgement Day slowly breaking up, hmmm.

Either way she looked fantastic and I’m predicting the women’s champ match between Rhea and Liv is happening at Summer Slam.

WWE's booking has been so good since they did the 180 of the Cody/Rock thing, I am legit gobsmacked. The booking now is every bit as good as Ruthless Agression era Smackdown. It's crazy how much Vince had become a weight around the company's neck.

They are likely upset Stephanie Vaquer signed with WWE and not AEW.
Not just that but she never even considered AEW. She just brought them up to milk more money out of WWE. If AEW ever downsizes you can bet your ass WWE is going to cut salaries across the board

Now I see a lot of people online and in wrestling communities trying to tear down the old Snake with what they consider the "Worst promo of all time" but in reality we the masses have been too dumb to understand the level of kino that Jake was throwing down
>Everyone over the years have attributed the "You wanna play 21? I've got 22" line as being a sign that Jake doesn't know the rules of Blackjack
>In actuality what Mr. Roberts means is that he has a .22 Caliber gun, and that even if his opponent truly has the perfect hand he will not walk away the victor because Jake is vicious and will do anything to win.
>The line "Do you wanna play blackjack? I got two of those too" is then him saying that he has two actual blackjacks, a type of crude club used to bash people
>Finally the line "You wanna play Aces and Eights? I got too many of those" is probably the most kino of them all
>Aces and Eights goes by another name. They are called "Dead Man's Hand" because it is said to be the cards that Wild Bill Hickok, a famous outlaw, was holding when he was shot dead
>Jake is then implying that he has led a trail of men who thought they could best the snake only to wind up dead at his hand over the years.
It's time to face the facts, that even while ballooned off his ass on enough drugs to kill a bull, Jake Roberts could still cut a more cerebral promo than anyone else in the history of the business.
The same people who didn't get any of these are the same ones that thought Trump was talking about actual coyotes when he mentioned them taking people over the border.
