Also did Seth drop him on his head? I don't think I've ever seen the ref stop counting without even an attempt to kick out.

I looked away for one second and couldn’t tell. I assume it was a production botch since it was probably supposed to be a 2 count followed by McIntyre’s music hitting.

Seems lime the logical outcome of course drew would immediately try to get back in and of course punk was going to retaliate again you faggots will whine about anything

It would have gone over better for me if Punk screwed Drew during the ladder match. That would have had a better impact instead of seeing a wasted cash in attempt.

No it wasn't. It makes no sense for Drew to cash in mid-match.

It also makes no sense to waste the briefcase like this. 5 other stars have been condemned to another year of midcard status just so a top draw could get screwed over by the seasonal attraction to put over a feud that was already over to begin with. This served nothing and no one.

Priest looks weak.
Rollins looks weak.
Drew looked retarded.
Main Event Jey? More like Snack Break Jey.
LA Knight's push is well buried.
Punk looks like the heel in a feud where he's meant to be the face.

Retardation all around.

You just want excuses to complain

AJ Styles and Logan Paul damn near kill Cody on three separate matches and Cody Super Cena'd the fuck out, but Solo diddles him with his thumb and he stays down? :story:

No one can talk shit on TNA anymore.

Yeah this PPV was an undeniable miss.

6 man tag could have been a great match, and the result is what I expected. But the low blow botch? Come on, man. This new Bloodline is going to be a problem for Rhodes.

Men’s ladder match had some ok moments, but was forgettable. McIntyre winning felt forced.

IC title was ok, wish it was longer and more technical. Felt that Breakker should have gone over tonight, but I think we could get a great program out of Sami and Bron.

WHC match was the shits. Damien looks weak, Seth looks weak, Drew is the new Jannetty, and Punk is now a heel when he shouldn’t be. I was invested in the feud, but now I’m not looking forward to the sewage tank this will dump on Raw.

Women’s ladder match took the cake, and I never thought I’d say that. Great spots, good performances all around. I think Stratton going over is the right call.

MITB has been around nearly 20 years and I feel like they've exhausted every possibility with it. It might be time to retire the gimmick.

At least since the pandemic, MITB, specially the male side, has been drizzling shits. Otis won it, only to lose it to the Miz, Theory won it, was constantly thwarted, ended up cashing in on a micard title, after teasing going back to NXT (which WWE memory-holed almost immediately). I legit thought Damian was going to end up being the first person to never cash in, but now I see that his reign isn't even a pity title run for a good hand, but a side effect of the CM Punk circlejerk.

Hunter is going to regret doing all this to prop Punk up when he doesn't fucking need it.

this is my one and only criticism of WWE right now, I really don't understand why they continue to do Money in the Bank when its a creative roadblock almost every time someone wins it, I understand why Drew cashed-in tonight because of what I just said, they should just retire it next year and bring back an older PPV like The Great American Bash. Gimmick PPVs dont work.

Gimmick PPVs dont work.

With the doing away of Hell in a Cell as a PPV, I think this will be the move going forward. As much as I enjoy MITB, I feel that the gimmick being its own PPV should be ended. When it was originally a once-a-year match at Mania, there was much more intrigue and interest. Plus, you had time to actually write the stories out and build characters. I don't think anything will match those first few MITB winners and their storylines.

As far as gimmick PPVs go, what would be the logical thing to do with Elimination Chamber? Has that become as stale as MITB?

Realistically what can they even do with Punk?
You know he can't wrestle without breaking again so what, they'll just have this silly Cena-esque gimmick where he keeps getting beat up in the weeklies but then goes over in the PPV, except because he can't wrestle he'll just show up for interference?

I don't get why Drew won the case only to lose it immediately anyways. It feels like someone couldn't be fucked to keep a storyline going with the contract so they just burned it immediately.

Seems like they are saving it for their international shows. It's a relatively easy way to book all your talent in one shot for a crowd that will only see a live event every few years if ever.
