They never fired Perry in the first place. They just "suspended" him and he worked a few NJPW dates in the meantime.

The biggest problem with the footage was that it was a nothing-burger when it was built up to be a huge gotcha on Punk/WWE for re-hiring him. Stuff happened pretty much as Punk described it and TK looked like a fool for releasing it because of this.
thats even worse actually, like I could at least understand why they kept the Bucks (as much as they suck and are annoying) after the All Out situation as them and Kenny are the namesake of the company, but letting Jungle Cuck act like he has Hogan level of creative control and then being an ass to Punk for calling him out on it is honestly all you need to know about Tony, he doesnt know how to run a Wrestling Promotion.

I’m betting a lot of the OG home grown talent leaves AEW except for M’jiff. He strikes me as a guy who just wants to be a medium fish in a tiny pond.

If AEW dies then MJF will go to WWE. That's the only way I see him ending up there.

He knows he couldn't do his current routine in WWE so he'd end up being just another Miz/EC3 and would get lost in the shuffle. TK let's him say pretty much whatever he wants in his promos, probably pays him a relative fortune and the internet smarks worship him because he's edgy.

He'd be a fool to walk away from that unless Cody offered to get him over in WWE.

honestly this, WWE has a massive roster and MJewF will remain at the top of the card for as long as AEW exists, even though TK sucks at booking hes still a Main Eventer there with Swerve,Hangman,Danielson, etc. and WWE already has guys they are set on pushing as future faces of the company like Bron and Trick, MJF is just another upper midcarder on either brand in WWE.

Damien Priest looks like he could be a world champ, but he doesn't have the presence, psychology, or move set in the ring to convince me he is the WHC. I think he would be more convincing if he dropped out of Judgement Day and established himself as a singles competitor. He tries too hard to be the Roman Reigns of Raw and it's obvious that Judgement Day is supposed to be like The Bloodline for Monday nights. It just doesn't work for me.

As far as what will happen Saturday, Priest will drop to Rollins. Gunther will get the belt at SummerSlam and we'll all be happy when our Ring General installs a Thousand Year Reich for the World Heavyweight Championship when he returns to Berlin.

I haven't seen any of his work in WWE but i found it bizarre that they have tried to make a big deal out of some random midcarder from zombie-RoH. I'd only ever seen him in some multi-man NJPW stuff years ago and he was fairly unremarkable.

Seems like a very smarky signing from HHH.

I think this is a case of giving him the title too soon before building up some character work in him. Sure, he had the Judgement Day stuff and all, but he needed some individuality to be a eligible main eventer and one credible enough to be accepted by the public. He sure has the appearance but he needs to be in more schedules with main eventers of greater caliber.

I don't think he'll be having second title reigns any time soon. He needs to be working on his presence first, which is gonna be hard considering the fact that the dude is getting older.

this,a long Gunther title run is preferable to a long Roman title run, (I dont even hate Roman either, its just that his fanbase is more insufferable)

Maybe Damian is retiring and Trips gave him a title reign as a retirement gift.
Damian only has the belt because the Raw belt is a poison chalice of a participation trophy title and most of the top guys don't want it. They wanted to put the belt on Punk and pray he could somehow rehab it/give it prestige but he got hurt, combined with Drew McIntyre being on the verge of possibly leaving WWE during the spring. And given how Rollins flopped as champion and Gunther being groomed as a possible Cody challenger and Sami getting an IC title run and Finn being a jobber 's jobber, Priest got it by default of being the only guy who was dumb enough to say "sure, I'll be Raw champion!".

What makes Triple H or Batista?
Triple H is the Game Boy Pocket.

Who is the Gameboy Advance and Virtual Boy of Wrestling?
GBA: Jericho. A good worker who could do it all proficiently, but was never quite the mega star on par with the S listers, coming up just short.
VB: Ryback.

@ The topic of Punishment Martinez: Leaving the bloodline will be a negative for his career.
He's not Triple H who had the physique and hunger to be a top guy. He has no presence to be the top heel and he lacks the charisma to be a top face. When Triple H left DX both times he was bigger than the faction and needed to cut the dead weight. The Judgment Day might not be a star-cast sans Chyna 2.0, but Priest still needs it.
The Judgment day need him too, lest they become a jobber faction withering away as the tail end of R-Truth's comedy segments.

Bret Hart is the SNES, an overall improvement (in-ring at least) over his predecessor and fairly underrated until recently (also had to go up against a upstart competitor like the SNES except it was WCW)
Who's the n64 of wrestling? (had classics for the time albiet highly overrated but clearly a relic of the past left in the dust by the new kid on the block)
