How many more documentarys of the death of WCW are we gonna get? Let it go, this and the Montreal Screwjob have been talked about ad nauseum for the last 20 years.
How many more seasons of Dark Side of the Ring are we gonna get? My favorite episodes of that show were the ones that hadn’t been discussed for forty years, specifically New Jack and Nick Gage. They were both supremely entertaining, imo, and panned by pearl clutches who cannot let go of bygone eras. Episodes with actual drama? No. Hearing Jimmy C. ruminant over something he has on at least 18 podcasts in the past month, taking the occasional potshot off on Russo? Yes.

They’re both great in the ring. They both know they’re great in the ring. Everyone is keen to suck them off and let them know that they’re great in the ring.

I think it’s really the latter. Neither one of these guys are known for their humility and I would not be surprised if they both have some sort of narcissistic personality disorder.

I’m just really glad someone else noticed this and called it out. My YouTube recommendations also get flooded with this stuff, especially Bret, and I really didn’t think much of it. How many times does someone need to be interviewed and asked the same questions if it wasn’t doing something for them?
I think you're right. It reminds of how I eventually couldn't sit through Jim Cornette's show anymore because, even if I love all the old wrestling trivia, he felt like the most miserable snarling waste of lard in existence. Nothing but negativity. I started watching Dutch Mantel instead and it's nice because he isn't constantly shitting on everyone or suffering from some personality disorder, and he was around during that era to share stories.

Honestly Bret Hart strikes me as somebody who never lets shit go, like sure he'll fucking work with Vince but he'll still be bitter that Shawn is willing to do business despite being a drama queen. If Goldberg landed the kick without fucking Bret up, he'd bitch about Terry Funk fucking him up six ways from Sunday. If Shawn said "No I won't screw him over despite him being a asshole", Vince would've find someone who would and Bret will still be salty. Point is Bret is like CM Punk, they both let their bitterness overshadow their legacy and are popular with Smarks.

Honestly the Attitude Era shit had already been covered by any youtuber/podcaster but it does make for some mindless TV that tricks people into watching Vice.

Jesus I completely forgot about that. What a horrible memory to have awoken in my mind.
According to the guy who sent it to me, it was allegedly scrubbed from all media except for the UK VHS copy.

Anyways, just want to say Bret screwed Bret. And if you think otherwise you're a M A R K

hell, that ancient A&E docu did a decent enough job despite being so fucking old that WCW still existed when it was made

Bret Hart being a bitter old man is part of his charm... or lack thereof. His displeased glares while ringside for Charlotte Flair vs Natalya Neidhart in NXT was a meme for a hot minute a decade ago. He'll forever be standing there, bitter.

There's something about Brett that I also see in CM Punk whenever they shoot. It's like the pair of them have the same exact ego disease, but I can't identify it exactly.

I think Punk and Bret both take themselves and what they do waaaaaaaaay too seriously.

Bret, because it was ingrained into him from day 1 thanks to his dad being a carny and being the carny equivalent of an Asian Tiger Mom. Punk, because, to psychoanalyze him for a moment, I think is because he is constantly seeking approval/is insecure due to his background. I say this because Punk has been very vocal about his family and the paranoia that stems from it. I don't think it's a major reach.

I think they both have an overblown sense of what they do and it drives an intense need for validation. Similar to speedrunners who think they're hot shit and are 'literally who?' to anyone outside their hobby's community.

But maybe they're both just assholes in their own way. Who fucking knows.

They're both highly autistic just with a job that's high profile

I'm sure we all know a guy who does some mundane job but acts like it's the most important shit ever and how they're the best there is at it. In my case it's a guy who installs refrigeration units. Dollars to donuts I bet they also hold grudges like nobodies business.

It's autism.

You know who wasn't autistic? Owen. That's why he could take and give jokes and everyone liked him. Probably.

From what I know, I've never heard anyone from the wrestling business who talked about Owen in a negative way. Guess he's just beloved. Sadly, people like him are taken too early either from bad luck or bad people.

I remember when Sabu had to crowdfund hip replacement surgery so that he could walk. Though he was also selling merch and shit.

Jordynne Grace looks like a midget tranny.
With how the roids have affected her voice, she reminds me of a pooner attempting to detransition.

Honestly the only enemy that Owen had is with Steve Austin and it's because he almost crippled him.
Right but at least I never heard Austin bitch every time on how Owen almost killed him unlike Bret who can't stop telling us for the 1,256,379th time on how Goldberg ended his wrestling career in WCW. We get it, Goldberg almost ruined your life and no amount of apologies from Goldberg himself is going to make up for it.

He tried to do it with Dan Severn, too. Severn told him not to do that spot but Owen did it anyway.

Dynamite last night was legitimately completely pointless and boring. Worst episode of it I have seen
