Well, I know I'm being worked. But it doesn't make the ending feel less painful. God almighty.

Nevertheless, this was a fantastic main event.
It's the same fucking main event it's been since Roman got the belt, just that Rock helped him cheat instead of the Usos or Solo.

It's the same thing over and over. It's not interesting to watch. Roman is boring.

So we agree Cody is gonna win tomorrow? I actually enjoyed tonight. That uso match sucked hard. Everything else was great.

Night 1 top 3:

  1. Gunther vs Sami Zayn. A nice quick build-up in the beginning with a good finish.
  2. Ladder tag team. Nice spots, R-Truth being R-Truth.
  3. I want to say none, but if I have to, the last match, as the other matches were women matches, celeb bullshit, and superkick fest. Yikes.

Pretty sure we're going to see everyone the bloodline has cheated in the past intercepting members on their way to the ring
I'm certain we're going to hear that glass shatter as well

Roman's Reign started with him as the World Beater, it ends with him basically being Jinder and having exactly one match script. Yeah, he's the heel, but every match ending in interference got old years ago.
Cody losing both matches would be the biggest felting ever, so probably no.
While part of me kinda wants Cody to lose tomorrow just so I have something/someone to laugh hysterically at, Stevie Wonder could see the ending coming. As is, my own bet is $5 whether or not Stone Cold appears to murder Rocky one more time, just for old times sake.

I enjoyed the tag match tonight more than I thought I would. The crowd was just eating out of their hands. Great storytelling by some of the best in the business (and Roman Reigns). The slow build of the crumbling of the Bloodline has been great, but it just makes one anxious as to when Roman is going to drop the belt. I really do think Cody is going to be the one, but tonight's result feels like a Vince decision. No one can convince me that Vince still doesn't have a say in what goes on during the big events and we better get used to that until the old fucker dies.

Vince will die and he will still be living on people's heads. Triple H can't make questionable decisions or something?

In what way does it feel like vince it's pretty standard for heels to have some kind of handicap in their favor going into a big match?

Some of you niggers seem to like getting the same match for three years,

I can't tell if that's as bad or worse than liking the AEW booking.

Could Haitch make questionable decisions? Sure he could. But clearly after changing the plan from Roman vs Rock to this after the massively negative reaction fans had, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sour grapes and this was done as a fuck you.

Because we all know Vince wanted to push Roman when no one wanted him. Roman was an absolute shitter in the main event space before his hiatus, had terrible mic skills, and couldn't cut a promo if his life depended on it. When he came back, Roman got a massive push with this new character/angle and I'll admit it's been good. I've enjoyed it for what it is, but we're almost 4 years into this championship reign. How many people that are main event talent that can hold the belt legitimately have come and gone? Rollins could hold that belt. Cody could hold that belt. Lesnar could hold that belt. McIntyre could hold that belt. But Vince has always played favorites, and if you aren't a favorite of Vince, you're going to be the sacrificial lamb for Roman to slaughter.

It just gets old. I still enjoy the product and the storytelling. In fact, I enjoy that Roman has had a relatively great reign and that he has transitioned into the heel role so well. But at what point is this going to end? I want to see a champion that wrestles more than 4 times a year and actually works with talent. I want to see the talent get put over when the time is right. This is just lazy booking.
