I don't know much about Gail Kim, but Trish Stratus? She was one of Johnny Ace's big titty fitness models. Try Madusa Micelli or Luna Vachon instead.

Didn't Kenny name Brock's finishing move after the same illness that Kenny now has that Brock also had, in the AEW game? Sounds more like karma, especially since Kenny will have to change his entire wrestling style if he comes back after the surgery and is already now trying to bury the whole "five star" rating thing now that he knows he won't be able to wrestle in the style that Meltzer expects people to do in order to get his coveted five star ratings.

Stratus is a classic example of someone who started out as a generic fitness model but quickly getting with the program and immediately evolving into an MVP in the ring. And Gail pretty much carried the female division in Impact to the point that her segments tended to get the highest ratings on weekly TV, she was that over.

There is a reason WHY Gail is considered to be one of Impact's top talent alumni-wise and why Trish Stratus has legendary status among fans of women's wrestling in the WWE.

Like I said, I don't know shit about Kim, but there is no fucking way Stratus is stretching anyone in the ring, that doesn't involve showing them yoga techniques (she's a yoga instructor irl). Again, for those who are a bit slow on the uptake... Trish Stratus was one of Johnny Ace's fitness models. She had no prior wrestling or combat sports background, and afaik, has not since trained in anything other than pro rasslin (and yoga). Put her in the ring with Vachon or Madusa (even humongo fake titty Madusa) or any number of old school Moolah trained (or hell even those 80s and early 90s Japanese women rasslers) and Trish is getting her ass kicked, stretched and maybe even fucked.

IMO, women's wrestling has rarely ever been good, it certainly isn't much to write home about currently, with most of them being botch machines because they are trying to do more than they are athletically capable of. As far as I can tell, women wrestlers seem to come in 2 flavors these days (on the American side) Fitness models of varying quality, and butch turbo lesbian-looking hulks.

Even with all the botched moves, women's wrestling has improved over the bra and panties era, but only in that it's being taken seriously now (despite its primary fanbase being a bunch of thirsty perverts). With a few notable exceptions, the wrestlers themselves aren't much better... they just try fancier shit that they fuck up.

I don't know how it's like for athletes but beyond a year of recovery it's not really as bad as it sounds especially if it's only a bit of your colon and not the entire thing.
You shit two or three times a day more than you normally would, and you need to drink more water.
Whether or not he'll make a full recovery back into wrestling is another matter entirely but I've heard a lot of people get back into athletic shape beyond surgery.
