I just remembered that this Friday is Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV and this card is just sad.

I kind of think it would have been more dignified to let ROH just die instead of being bought up and turned into an irrelevant subscription show.
 
So apparently one of the reasons for Phils return is that he may want to take over NXT from Shawn Michaels
Phil doesn't know the first thing about running a show so that should be a good shitshow if that happens.

Bishoff has basically said it's a cancer to AEW. Might be why TK decided to make a belt that could be defended on three separate shows.
However, TK has said that ROH must be part of any TV deals for 2024. He's also said that he's had good talks with WBD over this but I doubt anything is cemented. I have a feeling they talk to him like he's the autistic man child we treat him as.

Insane people usually aren't allowed to consent to anything. It used to be up to the family to consent to any treatment the insane person would get. Now it's a multibillion dollar industry to allow them to do whatever they want.
 
Got into AEW because got bored off WWE after all these years, hunting and digging for some good matches, find a few from both offerings. Life in digital age where I can watch Indy Mexican/japanese feds with tiny crowds, Kaiju wrestling!, zona 23?. All fun stuff, but nothing that keeps my ass in the seat and drunkenly screaming for more.

Start watching Lucha Underground from the start for the 3rd time, shed a tear of joy.

Will we ever get something so wonderfully packaged, maintaining some crazy kayfabe, with talent from all over the globe again?.

Seeing Vamp get off his ass and fuck with Pentagon Jr just made my day dimes. Even the botches, audio fuck ups, commentary just doing their own thing. It was perfectly jank.

Thanks for reminding me of Vampiro. Dudes an absolute lolcow in his own right. Was watching his YouShoot from years ago and he was whining about not getting royalties over his appearance in the WWE 2K games as a "secret character". Had me confused for a second because he hasn't been in a WWE game as an actual playable named character in....ever? I don't think he even appeared in any WCW video games in the day either. But the facepaint he used back in WCW has been available for use in a lot of the WWE 2K games over the years. Pretty sure he ain't getting royalties over his facepaint being used, although if that case with the tattoo artist beefing with the WWE games over their tattoo artwork being scanned went in the artists favor....he might be able to pursue recourse.

It's not even technically HIS facepaint, he stole it wholecloth from Doyle Von Frankenstein of the horror punk band Misfits. If anything, WWE/2K would owe Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only.
 
I remember that earlier this year Vampiro talked about having to retire because one more bad hit to the head could kill him. It was an interview in spanish. Weeks later, Vampiro was on NWA and later got booked on some AAA show.
I think I get why Sean Waltman said Vampiro is "full of shit" on one of those Kayfabe Commentaries videos.
