Kevin Steen on the other hand is awesome. Most agile fat fuck since Vader without the risk of paralyzing people

i'm watching the last battle of atlanta in the new hidden gems section on the network. it's intense and awesome. shawn michaels said it was the inspiration for the original hell in a cell

He detailed the story in one of his books. Goldberg was a (monstrous) bitch that didn't know how to fight, and Jericho essentially held on for dear life until Goldberg lost interest and surrendered.

IIRC, Jericho said he just slapped the only legit hold he knew how to apply properly, or something along those lines.

gay hitler is best gimmick of all time

Okay so what I'm wondering is, CM Punk signed a multi-fight deal with UFC back in 2014 (if I heard correctly)...but since Dana allegedly said that Punk's next fight, "probably shouldn't be in the UFC" I'm assuming that the UFC had an out clause?

And I'm not at all surprised that Punk lost in the first round. You don't have to be Joe Rogan to see that Punk was going up against a guy that was 14 years younger, in better shape that Punk has ever been in his entire life, and cut his teeth in the amateur ranks (and hell, now that I think about it, even Brock's first MMA fight wasn't in the UFC). I get that people are huge marks for the dude (I was never a fan, though I do appreciate him calling the WWE out on their bullshit), but who didn't see this one coming? Smoking the Hopium as Jim Cornette would say.

I have no idea why anyone other than wwe-loving children would think that Punk might win.
He is approaching forty, perennially injured and has no real fighting background. Imagine if this fight had taken place two years ago, when it was supposed to.

Everyone seems to be proud of Punk's allegedly massive balls, just because he willingly put himself in a situation where he got badly beaten up. Literally anybody could do that, but most people are smart enough not to.

It was like watching an amateur getting raped by a professional. Kinda reminded me of this:

Not even the "Stamford Wives", so much as dedicated marks for CM Punk.

Until I saw how little he tried to get into shape I was kinda hopeful that he'd at least put in a good showing. Or at least make the lead-up entertaining and pull out some of his old worked straight-edge heel material, instead of his usual shoot all-around asshole material.

Not only that, but Gall is a brown belt in Judo, where Brooks had...some karate classes when he was a kid.

CM Punk's next fight should definitely be in the amateurs until he learns some fight basics like not running straight into a double-leg takedown and how to defend against the rear naked choke. If you want to watch a more impressive debut, check out Kevin Ferguson Jr. (Kimbo Slice's son).
