I still think the blatant lack of subtlty of Sid's "From Wherever He Damn Well Pleases" takes the prize tbh.

the only problem was that as good as jericho is, he couldn't keep up with matt. if jericho was in character too as opposed to pretending to be freaked out, this would have been the best interview ever

Between trying this and trying a Jan stream it's been a night of expected disappointment so far.

Alvarez and Meltzer thought the two of them planned it. I have no doubt that Brock got a few stiff shots in there because of that 'No enhancements needed' quip from Randy, but I suspect they both agreed to bust Randy open the hard way.

EDIT: Speaking of Summerslam, the lame and uninspired show followed NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, which was a show that featured the best tag match I have seen....well, I'm not that old so EVER, and Bobby Roode's Glorious entrance.

So they follow THAT with a Pay per View that featured a shit Intercontinental title match, a Us title match that never happened, the two main event titles appeared in the midcard, the shit crowd that completely hijacked the Rollins and Balor match, Dean Ambrose and Ziggler being SO damned boring, Sasha Banks almost dying, John Stewart almost having an involuntary vasectomy and a main event that featured Brock Lesnar leaving one of Smackdown's top stars in a pool of his own blood and then F-5ing Shane McMahon into the dirt.

The ONLY matches that felt remotely special were the Women's Title Match, only because Charlotte and Sasha Banks play their roles to perfection. and the Cena Styles match and that was a finisher spamming event that was worthwhile solely because John Cena lost clean in the middle to Styles and the crowd loved every second of it.

NXT Takeovers have been outshining the main events for quite a while now, although I might be biased because I don't have the attention span to sit down and watch a four hour show in one sitting.

Also I still don't know what Roman Reigns personality is supposed to be, he just came across as a huge jerk who ruined a wedding event for no reason.

One thing that feels weak to me at the moment is the backstage banter, they've got entertaining characrters like Owens, Jericho, Enzo and Corbyn so why can't we have more moments like this:
