I've only just started watching Mexican wrestling again over the past year after over a decade not watching any. My thing is American, Japanese, and European wrestling (Mostly German and UK stuff). Though I'll catch Russian stuff if I can. Hallowicked was there for awhile so gave me a reason to watch them. I have little reason to learn Spanish again after a Mexican ex ditched me for a criminal.

the post-coof era's been sorta rough
CMLL has put most of their stuff behind a paywall, AAA barely streams live anymore and somebody (probably Space?) is coming down hard on pirate streams of their TV as it airs.
I've heard CMLL's been pretty solid tv but without live (and free/easily stolen) it looses a lot of the shine for me.

Eh, I think it's more of the fact that the jump to next gen isn't really a push. Most people don't wanna spend $500 for a console that is slightly more powerful and has little if any "must have" games.
 
Dark Order was turned into the Adam Page Fan Club when Brodie Lee died. Which probably suited Evil Uno just fine since it was rumored that Uno and Grayson were pissy that Brodie got put into the group as it's leader after the angle initially got rejected HARD by fans, to try and salvage it.

Ironically, it could have been salvaged had they just put 10/Preston Vance in charge of the group and play up Preston as "the Chosen One" but rumors of Preston falling off the face of the Earth because he was a Cody hire and the Elite never liking him as a result, doomed him. Fucker deserves far better than being made the token white boy for Rush and his crew, who haven't done jack shit except film mini-movies. Hell, Dark Order hasn't done anything either even though Preston turned on them and neither has Page, which you'd think would be fodder for the recent drama where Dark Order got pissy that Page was hanging around the Bucks by pointing out that they've not sought revenge on Preston because they need Page to lead them in getting that revenge whereas Page doesn't give a shit about them or Preston turning heel and breaking Minus One's heart like he did.

Also, the current situation with video consoles has prevented clear breaks with previous generation systems.

The average new generation X-Box/PS console is $500+ minimum and both the new X-Box and PS5 had massive supply issues launching during the pandemic along with a major uphill battle with fans due to the fact that we've reached the point that there is zero difference graphically between say, a PS3 versus PS4 versus PS5. Leading to people holding onto their previous generation system way longer than they used to; especially since backwards compatibility has gone away.

So it's SOP that if you make games for the PS or X-Box, you make it available on the PS4 and PS5 or both the last and current X-Box system since the new X-Box and PS5 still haven't fully overtook the previous generation systems in households. It's also one of the reasons why GTA 6 is highly anticipated, since it's expected that GTA 6 will only be available on the new X-Box and PS5, as a means to effectively force everyone to finally break down and buy a new gen X-Box or PS5.

The wrestling game on old consoles has been happening since the PS3 came out and the PS2 was getting editions of the games. Consoles with bigger install bases tend to get ports for a while, especially of bigger mass market titles like wrestling, sports games, Need For Speed etc.

I said a while back that some of them are WCW fanboys who couldn’t get over WCW losing.
They hopped around to various non fed promotions that they tried to Will into existence to be “The Fed Killer” and they didn’t. They’ve now ended up with AEW.

Also, some of them knuckled under and watched WWE cuz there wasn’t much else especially during the early 2010’s when they hijacked all the shows to prop Daniel Bryan up. Then they moved on to NXT until 2019 when they could support Black and Gold style wrestling but not have that mean ol nasty icky WWE name attached to it.

I haven't consistently watched wrestling since 2006. I stopped watching cause I found the product to be getting dull, when I come back to see how it is every now and then, I'm surprised to see how much worse the product has gotten. Wrestling has become too Reddit for my liking and I really blame the fans for that.

Seriously, the point of this absolute cope of a video is that AEW arenas aren't really empty because no one goes to see the shows. It's because people just can't afford it. So technically the arenas aren't empty at all. Theoretically AEW would make loads of ticket sales if wasn't for covid, the economy, and heckin gross E-Drones spreading FALSE INFORMATION about the arenas being empty.

If only Dan Lambert would come back. Yeah I didn't like most of his promos but the promotion needs more people who can talk on the mic. He's the only one I can think of with a goon squad other than Samoa Joe bringing back his ninja's. He has a history with them ever since they kidnapped him,

Joe sure gets kidnapped a lot for a fat coconut nigger. He got kidnapped in TNA and came back with coconut nigger facepaint, with no explanation to why he was kidnapped or who did it if memory serves. I didn't know Lambert kidnapped him in AEW. Wonder why they didn't try a kidnapping angle with him when he was in WWE.

Dan didn't, Samoa Joe brought them to NXT to go after Kenta if I recall. It's why he (Kenta) was off for a bit to heal up from an injury.
Knowing TK he'll probably finally tell us who tells the Ninja's what to do.
Personally, I hope it's Nash controlling them. Nash has a history controlling Ninja's.

Nash wouldn't control a bunch of vanilla midgets though. He'd probably tear both his quads trying to give them an order. I'd say Goldberg but he'd just kick Samoa Joe in the head and forego using ninjas entirely.

Sure he would, he was supposed to come back for TMNT until they decided to go with the time travel story. Plus he's cool with a bunch of vanilla midgets. He saved the X-Division.

Goldberg thinks of himself as a superhero so he wouldn't pretend to be the devil. The reason why he beat the Fiend was due to his young son "needing a hero" whatever the fuck that means. You're a hero to your children whether or not you're "good" or "bad" so beating Bray was pointless and he never recovered. Now he'll only be known as the "Idea Guy" who couldn't get it done in the ring when it mattered. While Goldberg will be known as having a massive ego, multiple self inflicted concussions, shit matches, and ending careers.
