It's Backlund's old gimmick

I got that they were trying to reference that, but it came off really poorly and a DQ shouldn't have happened, nothing happened that should've caused a DQ. I can stretch my suspension of disbelief quite far, but it stops when they break the very few rules that every standard match abides by.

lol you can't book Jeff Hardy at the Gathering of the Juggalos and expect him to remain sober. They were probably offering him hits of meth and key bumps of coke as he walked down the aisle

I respect the integegrity of the TV title more than the average wrestling fan but these two deserved bigger pushes

Alex Wright should have main evented a couple times in losing efforts. He was techinically proficient but faggots int he WCW tanked his Berlin gimmick whereas Disco Inferno could have been a good US champion and had a decent run in the WWE as a comedy heel

Sorry for double posting

You know, while I'm not yet sold on whether it was the right decision to book the #1 contender's match on Smackdown the way they did, I'm legit interested.

I'm mean, for the better part of 2 years, the internet almost begged the company to give Dolph a shot and, after a couple of "start and stop" pushes that went nowhere and a lack of character development, many lost their faith in him, myself included. I really want to see where they are going with this, as it feels fresh even if I highly doubt that Ziggler will actually win. (But then again... I did not see him winning the six pack challenge in any way, shape or form.

Also of note is the fact that AJ was the one who ate the pin.

In case you haven't seen it, LA Park and Rush had a totally great brawling hardcore match.

LAST TIME ON DRAGONBALL Z: Park and Rush have been feuding for a while now, this is one of their many encounters. This time they're fighting on TV Azteca Liga Elite, a big money promotion with heavy ties to CMLL (the older of the big two Mexican promotions). It's no-dq match.

LA Park is the guy who worked as La Parka in WCW. He's since had trademark issues so LA Park is his name now. He's lately known for hardcore brawls and getting pulled from CMLL after yelling CHINGA TU MADRE on their live tv show.

Rush is a big roidy guy who's talked about how Park has taken his hardcore match virginity.

Partway through the company tries to stop the match because it was getting really bloody and this promotion is twitchy about that. The ref calls for a DQ in this no-dq match. The audience starts throwing shit because that's total bullshit. Park and Rush just keep going even though the match is finished because they're great. They each got a three week suspension afterwards.

this match happens after the previous match
of note is some of the weapons used and when LA Park fucks up his knee and keeps on going

Watched the 1994 Super J-Cup a while back. Overall a good event (though the El Samurai matches kind of stunk). A lot of Dropkicks and Suicide Dives, I'll give you that.

WWE is doing a live show in China next month thinking about going. Holy shit ringside seats are like $400 though lol nobody is going to pay that much I'm hoping to pay $25 for nosebleed seats and get upgraded to $100 seats because nobody in China watches rasslin
