It's a well lit room with high-def cameras everywhere. Even if they insisted on the blood pack, he should've gotten a razor himself. What can they do to him that they won't do anyway or haven't already done. What a fucking embarrassment.

As cringy as it is, I don't wanna see guys blade themselves anymore. All these bloodbourne diseases and etc. Its like chair shots to the head. Its cool and all but has the potential to do alot more long term damage to a wrestler. But if you cant make it look good then just dont do it.

Arguably one of the biggest junior heavyweight wrestlers ever. Revolutionized the style in the mid-late 90s. As good as any junior heavyweight in Japan from 2000-now draws inspiration from him in some form. FMW was built around him and they managed to draw a Wrestlemania size crowd for their biggest show ever with zero TV using him. Shame his career ended so abruptly with the neck injury and paralysis in 2001.

They do blood tests for porno actresses and high-class hookers to stop exactly this problem. They have simultaneous higher risks of contracting VDs due to their profession, and lower rates of STIs than the general population.

Obviously, if we're talking about someone like Abdullah the Butcher or Cowboy Bob Orton, then double juice should be out of the question with the possible exception of occasions where immuno-boosting meds can solve the issue. But if the guys are both healthy, them being able to blade isn't even among the riskiest things compared to what they do in an average match.

Either way, nobody above yard-tare level should use fake blood for any reason. It always looks awful, and makes the guys who do it look both bush-league and pussified.

Adam Cole did it fairly well at Final Battle 2014, but I agree that it is much harder to make a blood capsul look legit
