Bret Hart's a soylib? (:_(

I'm not too sure, he probably isn't like turbo right wing but he doesn't seem to have TDS or anything from the quick searches I did. I found a Forbes article from 2017 where Hart was very cordial and nice about Trump and said that he was a very friendly guy when he met him during Wrestlemania 4 and 5 and he thought Linda McMahon would do a good job in the Small Business Administration as part of Trump's cabinet picks.

Also last year on his Instagram page he took a question asking if he'd like to have another Mania match and he said one of his favorite ideas would be a match against Trump with Vince as the referee.

Eddie Kingston isn't even one of my favourite wrestlers. A guy out in Calgary is and he hasn't done shit in near a decade and he's one of those hardcore Liberal types you see on Twitter.

My guess was gonna be Lance Storm tbh. Bret strikes me as “Too Bitter to give a shit”

I can see maybe Wardlow, MJF and possibly Britt being of interest to them but that's about it.
Even of those three, MJF is realistically the only one I can see jumping - Wardlow I remember seeing a clip from him where he said he wanted to be an AEW guy, while Britt might enjoy traveling with Adam Cole too much to make the jump (and, more importantly, WWE might keep her too busy to keep up her dental practice, assuming she just takes one flight a week to wherever they need her in AEW)

Sure, MJF saying he’ll likely be the next bidding war once his own contracts up is probably just a way to get heat - guy lives kayfabe, it’s hard to tell with him - but there’s no way he’d be allowed to get away with half of what he says on the mic in WWE, and that’s a lot of the draw for MJF.

He seems to think he can coast there on his relationship with Dwayne just like Nia jax did in her wrestling career. He has mostly done voice over work and that wasn't all that great and voice overs are different than live action, and his appearance on Fast & The Furious

He's certainly got the look, and if he gets roles in the likes of Fast and Furious 57 acting ability won't matter that much.

Good he can be the Frank to Rock's Sylvester

Cody beat Seth at the ppv last night by rolling him up with a handful of trunks. Can't wait to see him turn heel immediately after basically drumming himself out of AEW for refusing to do so.

Reddit also noticed that the r/sc thread with a gif of the finish had 26 paid awards less than 15 minutes after it was posted and there was only around 10 posts total in it. WWE social media team out in force for the ppv that most people forgot was even on!

I’ll trust Reddit’s word on anything when they become hygiene experts and get married. Until then, they’re all liars.

The face cheating to beat the heel that tried cheating earlier in the match isn’t new.
A prime example of it happening recently is Sammy low blowing Scorpio Sky after he poked him in the eye, and Moxley beating MJF with the Paradigm Shift when it was a stipulation that he couldn’t use it at All Out 2020.
Not an uncommon thing. The whole “get your comeuppance” thing.

You'd have to wonder which guys AEW guys WWE are interested in.

They've already passed on a bunch of them over the past few years/already cut them and the rest have been knocking around the indies for ages.

As much as I like to shit on AEW's roster at times, they actually have a decent amount of really good looking guys with potential. Will Hobbs, Wardlow, HOOK and MJF all spring to mind as guys who look unique enough to make the jump, and they're also young enough to do 6 months of finishing skills in the PC to iron out their rough edges.

The only issue with MJF is that he's been an absolute edgelord over the years and some of the things he's said could quite possibly be a PR nightmare. Guys like Orange Cassady and the Young Bucks are deceptively old and will never make the jump at this point other than a brief cameo thing. Omega's body is completely fucked and I'm half curious if that's the last we've ever seen of him.

There's a bunch more guys in AEW who could potentially make the jump but their bodies look absolutely fucking awful. Dan Garcia may be a fun wrestler to watch but he looks like the bottom in a 5 black man gangbang until he actually puts on some muscle. Cody Rhodes might actually be the best example of a guy who took full advantage of AEW television to make himself look better but he's already left.

Honestly if AEW cut 20-30 guys tomorrow the roster would be just as fine and there'd be more room for wrestlers to breathe.

Tbh after all the fucking astroturfing on r/sc over faggots gilding AEW content to the moon and WWE content barely making the front page at times, it's nice to see some premium seethe over "paid shills". Anyone retarded enough to pay reddit money to give a super mega updoot needs shot but it is pretty cathartic to see the tables turned.

Currently I could see them cutting 10 and do well. 20-30 would be too much. Though if you count the pay by appearance guys they have then you could get to that 20-30 mark.

Why hire the Miz 2.0 in MJF?

I can see them trying to poach Jade Cargill.
