Dugan might have fucked himself by posting or communicating edgy stuff elsewhere but in his specific videos everything posted was expressed to be for educational purposes only (legal!) so this seems to be veering into thoughtcrime territory.

He also stated he had a Federal Explosives Licence (one size all for business and hobbyist) and exploded instead of storing whatever he made as required though in the press release
